I Bought a BMW R NineT Scrambler and it's GLORIOUS!

  • For me, it was love at first sight with the BMW R9T Scrambler. After a year of searching, I finally found THE ONE. So in today's video, I introduce a new bike/build to the channel to get back to my roots. I've missed making motorcycle content!
From JDM car fanboy to european motorcycle enthusiast, I do it all! Needless to say, my taste in motorcycles is much different than my taste in cars. The look and quality of european bikes has always won me over, and this bike is no exception. I've been on the lookout for a BMW R Nine T Scrambler for well over a year and finally found the one to buy. I first saw this particular bike in the Mission Impossible Fallout Movie and then once again when I traveled to the BMW HQ in Munich. I fell in love with the styling, the sound, and overall quality.
I bring you guys along for my quick buying experience, the windy ride home, and my initial review of the bike. It IS everything I hoped it would be and I'm racking up as many miles as I can. The Civic content isn't going anywhere, but I do want to start making more motorcycle content in between! I have some awesome plans for this bike and hopefully I can convert many of my JDM subs to enjoy the euro bikes as well haha. Like all my toys, it'll get an alldayanthony makeover to really make it mine. In some upcoming videos, I'm planning a baffle delete, mirror change, LED tail tidy, engine guards, skid plate, and the list goes on. Now I just need to fix the hole in my wallet.
    Thanks for watching!

The R-Nine-T's are great bikes but if you don’t plan to take it off road maybe switch out the nobly tires for ADV tires (they are a mix between off road and street). They will last waaaay longer, have more grip in the corners and ride more comfortable.

I sympathize with your difficulty in riding past trucks in a high wind. In 1990 I bought one of the first ZX-11s in the Denver area. It was the first model to have a ram air intake system, and I found that passing a truck with a strong cross wind from the right could lead to a low pressure at the air inlet that practically took the engine back to idle. Result was that it would pull even with the front of the truck, fall back, and repeat. Also, I rode it home from the dealers in a cold rain, and had to stop several times to let the ice thaw from the throats of the carbs. It was fine after it warmed up in my garage.

What's it like riding the knobby tires? Have you taken it down dirt roads?

Nice video!! I've got the 2019.. Akra ti headers, Bren tune and tail tidy really finished the bike off for me

And it has shaft drive, no chains to adjust or oil. I had an R80GS Paris Dakar with a 32 litre tank.

I’d buy one of those so I could park it next to my triumph scrambler 1200xc.
If I could only figure out a way to ride them both at the same time.

I'VE ALWAYS LIKE AND APPRECIATE BIKE EVEN THOUGH I COULD NEVER OWN TO RIDE ONE CAUSE HERE IN CALIFORNIA THE DRIVERS ARE STUP!D KRAZY DRIVERS PLUS BIKES DON'T HAVE ANY KIND OF PROTECTION AROUND YOU TO SHIELD YOUR PROTECTION ON IMPACT BUT OVER ALL GREAT AMAZING B.M.W. BIKE I THINK I WOULD ONLY CHANGE THAT SEAT COVER INTO A BLACK LEATHER INSTEAD BUT OVER ALL CONGRATULATIONS ON THE NEW TOY THANKS ANTHONY ✌🏼OUT

Looks great, sounds great, tubeless spoked wheels, classic looks...I just wish they put proper suspensions on it. Had an R9T UGS and the suspensions were the weakest point. Oh and watch your oil level mine took about 1L per 10000km. Dealer said under 4L per 10000km is normal..
