Another great video. I went to order this but; Judging by the reviews it looks like they haven't done anything about the screws being too long but they have put the price up by over £9 since you posted your review on their site in October last year. So they have hiked the price by 20%, not resolved the too long screw issue and then want £5.40 to post it. I don't think it's worth it, I think I'll spend the £60 on petrol and just ride, I can't see the tail when I'm riding.... 😉

I am 5ft 7 inches tall with 29 inch inside leg, I sat on the 400x yesterday and I can get the balls of both my feet just touching the ground. I am 85kg weight and the suspension goes down a little because of that. I hope this conciseness helps you.

My wife loves it. She had a MT-07, this fits her well. All of her female riding friends like it too. Ill be keeping my 1250.

I love my gt+ but suspension is too stiff. Besides that it is wonderful!

I’ve just bought the foot wider foot pegs for a bigger platform for your foot, bolt o top of the original less the rubber piece, really comfortable. From !! Wait for it !! Ali exspress 🤣 Same bike as yours 👍💪🏼 reckon your gonna be scraping those pegs !!

Hello Chief, Can we access the BMW Connected App on the Android Auto?

I test rode one this weekend with the intention of deciding if i could live with one. Ive never had such a conflicting opinon about a bike before. I loved the suspension, chassis, overall handling, riding position, and screen. Ioved a lot about it. But there was a wierd lag in the throttle, even though it was in sport mode. Pretty noticeable flat spot, pretty buzzy. I have a street triple 765, so i was hoping for something similar to that experience but comfortable for miles and miles. I don't know if it was just the bike i rode or perhaps settings i had not found but i felt the engine let down my experience.

Hallo, I've installed the cockpit cover too, hoping to reduce the noise coming from that huge "hole". Does not work in that sense, just nice to see. Only issue is you cannot easily use USB receptacle on the right, because of the USB cap in the way, I will try to lift the USB port with a spacer, realized with my 3D printer. By the way I have Bridgestone Battlax tires, and the bike pulls to the right, no hands driving. Great video👍

I have the very 1st version of the MT09 Tracer and ive had it over 8yrs from new, other than a couple of yamaha recalls, the bike has only had 1 mechanical fault in all that time, so very reliable. Ive enjoyed the bike, but the tech is basic on it, so looking for a replacement and even though i know how good my bike has been, i'm just not keen on the newer styling and colour schemes unfortunately, so probably a brand change which is a shame.

You are spot on with the review. I own one and have had it about 6 weeks and absolutely love it. The thing about the front tyre falling in, mine does it as well and for the life of me can't understand why. You mentioned something about the quality of the tyre might have something to do with it, Interesting. I will wait till I need new tyres and see if that fixes it although not a big problem. It's only when you are going slowly that it does it. Engine is outstanding and the ACC is amazing also. Great review.

Looks like a good bit of kit but as someone who tours I wouldn’t feel safe leaving it on the bike over night,can’t always get hotels with secure parking. Is there any future plans to do a removable version ? I had the Zumo XT and you’re gpx file video was very helpful but was always a faf, gone back to using google maps on my iPhone with a Quad lock with vibration damper. Great video 👍

Yep, got the 9GT for two years now and absolutely love it. Can’t add anything more than you have on here albeit I don’t intend to upgrade to the Plus model. Split screen is no problem to me at all and quickly learn to enjoy it. Cheers!

I see there is some head protection installed on your bike, can you please help what is that? I also have option 719 cylinder heads and all popular cylinder head guards brands told me that they don't support option 719, even BWB one doesn't fit to option 719

The quick shifter is incredibly good, allowing for smooth downshifting even at full throttle. I use the Garmin app on a per-trip basis, paying around €4 for one month.

The GT+ features a comfortable seat, allowing me to ride all day without any issues. In contrast, after three hours on the 1300 GS, I need a break. After a year of use, I have no complaints. It averages 62 mpg on trips, providing a range of 248 miles.👍

I am from Bangalore, India, I have same problem with my 3.5 years 65" OLD LG OLED TV with very moderate use I saw burn in probelem and now colour degradation problem. All yellow colour subjects in the middle portion of the screen stared coming as Green. When purcheasing this I was in doubt during decion making SONY and LG, but salesman was very efficient to convince me that all OLED pannel manufactured by LG even the one on SONY. MY 13 Years OLD FHD Panasonic plasma (whoch was actually a re-badged Pioneer Kuro) still gives me full satisfaction when it comes to colour representation. Where is the quality LG ? They are asking screen price equivalant to a new TV. We should start campain " NEVER BUY LG OLED" ,

Nice review as always mate. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for the Tracers, but to my mind they were always more towards the budget end of the sports tourers. I understand this spec has all the bells and whistles, but to my old brain that price is approaching Beemer territory. I suppose the ol' BMW prices have crept upwards over the last few years too though… One question, when you're talking as you're riding, is that audio taken from the Cardo?

Lot of accessories appearing for these bikes, i was looking to go back up to a CP3 motor from a CP2,but after seeing one on the dyno,and what's available (no doubt McCruise will be working on C/C),I'm seriously tempted on a 8R over a XSR900...looking for a comfortable, frugal mile muncher,with a bit of style! Up here in Scotland, you do not need more than 100bhp for one person...i'd need shot of those mirrors, a new rear light,and a plate relocation...full,de-cat exhaust system is only £350,from my trusted supplier!
