I greatly admire and congratulate you on your persistence and constant attention to the highest level of craftsmanship. Very well done! An inspiration to all.
DITTO @donaldhodges6269 ‼️👍🏻🎉🎉🎉 OMG 😱, guys, such a great job done and on to the fiberglassing. Even though it is a long-term project, you have and are making it a fun project to watch. See you next time. ✨🌊💨⛵️🏝️👙🌞✨
As a Woodworker I am amazed at your skill and the care you put into this project. I have watched your videos on youtube since before you started the build. I look forward to every friday for your new releases of this project. My Grandfather, my father's father Einar Larsson was born in 1883 in Gothenburg Sweden. He migrated to the USA in 1904, went to bible school in Ohio and then spent twenty plus years in China as a missionary before returning to the USA. As a child I remember him singing songs in Swedish, English and Cantonese. A few years ago my Father now deceased visited his cousins and other family members in Sweden. Watching you and your family help me make an emotional connection to my ancestral root. Thank You so very much.
Feels like this project is never going to be finished at this rate. It's as if you're building a piece of really fine furniture. I definitely applaud your attention to detail, but it's just so tedious to watch. To me this isn't the Sistine Chapel, it's a boat. The time and money you're spending you could have definitely bought a way better boat. But I guess it's the process and the sense of accomplishment which is really driving you guys. I applaud you and will check back in a couple of years to see how it's going. Good luck and the best to you all.
The attention to detail. It’s on another level. True craftsmanship. I am deeply impressed. Swedish mentality displayed. Johan and Malin, you are amazing.
Another great video and the focus on the details to ensure the boat will satisfy you in the years of sailing ahead, great to watch from the beginning and also to see young Vera enjoying herself and how much she has grown, thank you for all the effort into the videos.
What is truly impressive besides all the fiberglass and woodworking skills you two possess is the fact that the techniques you employ will make RAN III such a superior vessel compared to mass produced boats. Bravo!
That looks like a tricky process, the gluing down the series of floor beams, independent from each other but required to be in alignment. Thanks for your comment of appreciation of support. Your videos are great in so many ways, the high standard of production, careful clear explanations, the honest & high standard of work, the lack of drama, the story are just a few.
I love to follow you on this project, this will be a boat you would have never "bought" from a normal shipyard. The way Johan is working, the accuracy, the perfection it's incredible and it's more than great fun to watch every week's episode!
It is a lot of fun to see this slowly coming along. Also so surreal to see Vera playing around on the boat. I can’t believe how big she is getting. I remember watching this channel long before she was even a twinkle in neither of your eyes. Looking forward to seeing the stringers going next. Be safe. See you next week.
Hi guys loving the progress. Just a quick suggestion would be to take some time to build a false wall on the outside of the hull to separate it from your work areas. Trust me it will be only a matter of time before you end up hitting that lovely hull with something heavy or sharp or both !
Two of the hardest working people in the business. Love the attention to detail. No doubt you will rest easy underway and on the hook. Thanks for sharing.
Looking nice! What about adding through holes for cable management? Like the windlass etc. I guess the batteries, electronics and contactors will be in ”teknikrummet”? Or maybe you usually route that kind of stuff somewhere else?
Hallo ihr beiden!! Es ist wirklich eine Freude für mich, Euch bei eurer Arbeit zu zuschauen!!! Ich habe 7 Jahre Leo verfolgt bis die Tally Ho, fertig gestellt wurde. Nun lasst uns euer Bot bauen!!! Alles gute, Andreas.
I guess also the positive side of documenting the build on YT is that it pushes the speed of the build .. if this was just private project there would be times when Johan would say .. « Sod it, I’ll finish tomorrow », but presumably with the production manager waiting for material for this weeks episode he really has to push himself with crazy late nights sometimes ..but in this way you are shaving weeks if not months off the total build time !
Loki was also a boat builder, if I remember correctly. Isnt it amazing what we can do with our hands when we put our mind to it? Truly a monumental project and in the hands of a great man. :)
I don't know about you guys but I would imagine if Johan continues working at the speed he did in this episode RAN III would be built in no time 🤣🤣We Really admire you guys, your craftsmanship, hard work, and beautiful family!
Himla bra video ni gör!! Härligt att se att ni bägge är lika involverade, plus lite bilder runt omkring också!! Så kul att se ena dotttern hoppa runt på balkarna......😍 mvh, mikke i Karlstad....;-D
Johan is so meticulous and has made great progress! My goodness, but Vera is getting so tall. I used to heat primarily with wood and I remember how satisfying it was to have it stocked for the winter; nothing like wood for keeping you cozy warm.
Always a treat to tune in and watch the progress! So comforting to watch your woodworking as the boat comes together. Mahlin and Vera are also fun to watch. She's growing up so fast! It's good you're keeping a record of her experiencing her world, years from now you and Mahlin will be able to reflect on that warmly.
As always we enjoyed watching your diligent work ethic in today's video. You would be an Excellent instructor in boat building Yohan!! Thorough, Patient, and Precise!!...We had a stressful day with online business and Vera's chicken dance put a smile on our faces! I love her show of confidence to walk a balance beam she had not done before and also her expanded thinking to go from echo to chicken noises + dance!! She is Smart, Beautiful and Talented like her parents!!🎉❤❤❤
Johan is a constant source of our admiration, inspiration, wonderful ethicalto all who have been followers to this exciting adventure. Malin and Viera also amaze with their wonderful personalities, work and laughter. Its difficult to believe fall has come again. We would lo to see and hear about your gardens this summe and now fa crops, flowers. On top of everything else youve maxe significant improvements to your home and lands! Your reay busy little bees. FWCS ⛵️ ⛵️ ⛵️
Nice work on the keel beams! If you know the details of the engine and transmission it maybe the time to also include the engine bed main supports fitted so the main stresses on the boat are all distributed to the strongest sections ? Just my engineering brain thinking?
What a beautiful sight, looking down the hull with all of these beams in place. You ought to be proud of the progress, and of your extraordinary craftsmanship. I look forward to following your ongoing build right to the splash and beyond...
This is excellence in craftsmanship. Old world standards. Well done. A person can look at this build and see how true every process is laid out and performed. Perfection!!!
Watching these videos I not only see the care and precision you take with the build but also the care and attention to detail that Marlin puts into the video work. We sometimes forget that the build is one process but the filming editing and content is a whole other project. Well done to both of you. Can't wait to see more structure in the hull. cheers from Downunder
Is there anybody else yelling "Please put some half inch bolts through the hull, for God sakes!!!" I'm kidding hahaha. Awesome job guys!!! Cheers from Buenos Aires
Enjoy watching your workmanship. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished project. Stay warm. We are just beginning to get cold weather. Be careful . Looking forward to the next video. Bill , From North Carolina USA
Your channel is my inspiration. I watch it on Sunday morning and go to work remolding my basement. It's not my boat but that doesn't matter, it's your commitment to quality and your get r done attitude that helps me.
Well done team Ran I love that you both get into it. I’m very envious of you barn, it is exactly what I need for all my dreams to come alive. Thanks for bringing us along with your dream project.
With each step you can see the strength that is being built into hull. It will be interesting with bulk heads, stringers, and decking to watch it all tie together.
I love your cadence of work and conversation, is so relaxing seeing you work on your boat. It looks amazing seeing the size without anything in it yet and quality you are building it to.
I stepped out 50ft on my driveway to just how long your boat is in size 🤔Wow,,, That’s a big boat you’ve building. You can’t see that on screen properly 👀 So on my driveway I have your boat size marked out, Now that’s incredible to see 👀 Well done guys 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍👍
You are getting closer and closer to the phase I have most looked foward to, the pretty part of the build, the living interior. I often wonder in the very beginning, did you really have a good idea of what it would take and all the phases of the build?
I greatly admire and congratulate you on your persistence and constant attention to the highest level of craftsmanship. Very well done! An inspiration to all.
WELL SAID, I AGREE 100%

Excellent craftsmanship. It’s a pleasure to watch the process made every week. 👍🏻
You both have earned my respect, at 65 with 27 surgeries behind me I am unable to be so active. Enjoy it while you can.
Love the sound of a properly sharp hand plane nothing more satisfying

The filming and story are excellent.
Well done guys! it is so exciting to see it taking shape and the quality of the work is so good! you are an inspiration!!!
Vera is like an adorable time machine, which takes us back to our childhood, when any physical or natural phenomenon became a game (3:57) 🥰☺
That looks like a tricky process, the gluing down the series of floor beams, independent from each other but required to be in alignment.

Squeeze out for the fillets …always thinking one step ahead …😊
As usual… Mind Blown!
Your attention to detail is amazing!
I am truly impressed Your Team/Family!

It's hard for me to even concieve of your ability, patience and artistry in the building of this hull. And a beautiful wife and daughter to boot.

That must become one incredibly strong boat, hats off to you for doing all that work, and having the skills needed.

Everything about this project is always amazing and inspiring.
What I don't understand is why the number of likes is not equal to the number of views.
If your watching, please give a Like
Impressive attention to detail. Those beams should really help stiffen the hull. It feels good to support this project even in a small way.
"Winter is coming."
It's amazing, it seems like just a few episodes ago you were having to pull all-nighters to avoid working in the heat!
she will be a strong vessel for sure !!

I noted how little room you have to work in and then at the end, you said "time to clean up the shop" Like minds think alike! Great Work Johan!

Fantastic workmanship. It takes a lot of persistence to achieve the accuracy you have with these floor beams. Congrats.
a lucky little girl to be born into a sailing family!

In the long interior shots the hull looks so big... it's like Johan's Ark!
Now, all this is, is absolute professional work.....great job guys.
Please keep on sharing. The process is fascinating.
Love the craftsmanship you methodically give to this project. Nice Job. Keep up the great work you are doing!
Cheers guys!

It's such a weekly pleasure to watch your progress .👍🏻👏👏
If it's gone be your home, who doesn't want nice hardwood mahoganie floors whaha.

Johan is charged up, full of energy. 18 V apparently ☺️
Not too shabby !....cracking job..
A further step almost finished. And remember take a break every now and then to be able to keep going.
Extremely satisfying to see that stage done. Great vid as usual.
Hi , it is all coming together on piece at a time , amazing work and seeing little Vera playing in the hull .
Two millimeters?!!!! WOW, that's as good as it gets!!!! I love your production! Look forward to it every week!

What a project! I love it.
Lindo veleiro. Parabéns
Let me just say you are doing a wonderful job (from ontario canada).
I love your garden. I like it when you show it. Mine is a mess. Yours looks great! How do you keep it so lush!
2 mm deviation with all those curved surfaces?? Nicely done, sir! 👍
I also love watching the Clean Up videos if you could show us those too?

Looking good! White bilge? Always enjoy seeing Vera having some fun!
Thanks! 😊 Yes, we’ll have a white 2k coat over the barrier coat. Cheers!

great video
Well done RAN
Always the best channel!
Cheers
Go RAN go! Enjoying a mild Fall season in Iowa, U.S.A. while wearing my long sleeve RS Waves shirt.
I love watching your videos 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.
That looked fiddly as hell :)
It's amazing to see the whole process.
I think that the best recommendation is that other builders refer to your channel for guidance
Danke!

I kept looking up, thinking that beeping was in my kitchen!!!
Yeah after the grind of laminating the hull I’m sure it feels good to be getting onto interior installation. Looking forward to that phase!
Careful craftsmanship as always!
Starting to look like a realy good looking and solid boat. I admire your abselute dedication to the job.
I love your cadence of work and conversation, is so relaxing seeing you work on your boat. It looks amazing seeing the size without anything in it yet and quality you are building it to.

Measure 100 times, glue once. 🙂
Fine work! 2mm over that lenght is evidence of a pair of true craftsman. Craftpersons? Either way.
