This is nothing new. What makes anybody think that there's a difference between muslims outside of America or inside America? They've been chanting this for decades .
I remember right after the Twin Towers were hit, there were tons of Palestinians celebrating in the streets. There were so many it immediately made the international news. It wasn't known who was behind the attacks yet, so naturally a large group of highly approving people was of interest. Not really the smartest move on the celebrators' part.

Remember the short story, "The Man without a Country"? People who make expressions like this should be politely escorted out. When you advocate for the downfall of our government and culture, you have crossed the free speech line.
Yes, but we should this try to put this into perspective. If there were a couple of protestors running with Nazi flags shouting "Heil Hitler" we wouldn't pretend like America had a serious Nazi problem or that that was the fault of the political right.
And I'm not sure if shouting "death to America" actually vioalates any law because it doesn't threaten any particular person or group. But radical Islamists should be investigated and if they didn't didn't break any laws they should still be closely monitored by law enforcement. And none of us know the extent to which those Islamists are currently already monitored by police.
But let's stop acting as if a couple of radical Muslims are somwhow the fault of the left or that most leftists support "death to America" chants.

There aren't really hate speech laws in most American states. Shouting "death to America" is probably borderline but it doesn't threaten violence against a particular person or group. I mean how do you kill a country?
And I'm very critical of Islam but I'd say Islamic terrorism isn't really a major threat to the US. Only over 1% of Americans are Muslims and American Muslims according to studies are way less radical than Muslims in the UK or other countries. And since 9/11 in the US way more people have died in school schootings by non-Muslims than in Islamic terrorist attacks.
Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a violent, sexist and homophopic religion. But Islamic terrorism is not on the list of the most pressing issues facing America.

I used to live to go to Dearborn. It was a real since of love and appreciation from what they’ve escaped. I grew up with ppl that escaped Iraq 45/50y ago. Legally.
