I NEVER thought of using my own family photos in an older dollhouse, I've only used them in a modern house! That is brilliant! I love your doll's lives, they have a fascinating story. The pictures as part of the story is wonderful, how you've woven everything together really makes it come alive!

Hooray for Miss Maisie! 🥳 It's a good reminder to all the dolls that, although they all care about the young couple, the wedding is really about the two of them. 💕 Taking a little time before making a life-changing commitment isn't a bad thing! Aunt Janie took Aunt Bess's changes better than expected- the photos and Bible were a really smart move on Aunt Bess's part.😄 And poor Claude! Bless his heart, he's got it bad for a girl who sees him as just a little boy. It sounds like congratulations are in order for Uncle Barley and Aunt Charlotte, too! ❤ The community is experiencing a real population boom, and not just from dolls moving in from other communities. 😊

The family portraits look wonderful--good point on how small details can make a big difference. I thought that cafe wall looked just fine, and it did. But the change to the grouping of smaller family photos really moved the narrative along and looks so charming. Speaking of narrative, whole lot going on!
I totally agree! I loved the other 2 pictures in the cafe'! I am partial to still life pictures but black and white family photos added a nostalgic charm to the room and I really like that! Yes there is alot going on among the dolls ....But I'm sure things will work out! LOLOLOLOL!!

Well, this sweet and evolving saga continues in so many ways! The framed photos add the perfect touches to the rooms! The bedroom and sewing rooms are absolutely beautiful! I think the newlyweds know the wedding designer needs a bit more time to get everything prepared and ready! 😊.
Sterling is such a protective dad … it’s good thing he’s surrounded by wise women who can continue to remind him to “chill!” Love that! Every family needs a Miss Maisy! ❤️. The whole house is just a-buzz with all the wedding plan changes … such is life, right?!

Yes Yes Yes Young Love is BEAUTIFUL ......but thoughts and concerns of the future, family traditions and expectations, schedules, invitations, appointments and DRESS fittings can over whelm and young couple. Then add to it other family members family pride emotional baggage, expectations, disappointments and unfulfilled dreams. All of which can really challenge what should be a totally JOYOUS occasion. It's Good to have the support and direction from our elders for wisdom and guidance though this life's journey....

This would make such a wonderful book for young pre adolescent girls and boys. Your imagination is wonderful and wild and your stories are interesting and heartwarming. They bring so much life to the doll families and incredible houses you create. Seriously you should consider taking some stills of your story’s and submitting a mock up of some children’s books to a publisher or even self publishing.
I have never seen anything quite like what you do in the children’s book market. I know I would buy them for my grandchildren because it is something I would have found interesting, educational, and loved as a child. It would give younger children a insight into what kinds of questions go on inside the minds of their elders. This safe and charming peek into your dolls real lives would have me hanging on every word and waiting for the next book to find out what comes in the next book and how they work everything out. I just LOVE your talent and imagination.

Thank you I really do like the tiny pictures better than the art. Make s the room feel really cozy and nostalgic! Yes anytime you have "people", even tiny ones make from "clay, porcelain and plastic" you will have a little drama! LOLOOOLOL!!
IIn the cafe, the black and white pictures are charming. The dishes in the shelf were too similar to the wallpaper when the art was there, but now they are even more hidden in plain sight. The dolls have so many lovely, colorful dishes that it is a shame that they aren;t used to brighten that wall. The update on the whole story of thhe inhabitants is darling. Thank you for sharing the trials and tribulations of the Rooming House. I have never been one for soap operas, but actually get anxious to hear of the recent doings.

I do think the pictures really add a little something special! It is amazing how they really transformed the feeling of the room! That's why i say a Dollhouse is NEVER Finished there is always a little something that you can change to enhance it! As you go along you always see something little different. it's like it's alive always evolving, but never finished....

Aunt Janie forgave Aunt Bess..but she was going to allow her to tiptoe around her for awhile LOLOLOLOL😂😂😂 Oh the drama in the rooming house! It's all so wonderful! Aunt Maisey to the rescue! Poor Sterling, he's such a nervous wreck. Oh my how Marguerite reminds me of my niece- so young and anxious and emotional. Poor dear, she really got a talking to this evening. 😅 I love all the strong, level headed women in this family! If you need some doll nurses to do a travel assignment at the rooming house let me know. They are well trained in obstetrics. 😉🥰✨
Yes Aunt Janie has got Aunt Bess number! She knows how to deal with her! It's a good thing too, because the younger women would be out witted by her! Yes Ms, Mazzie is gonna get Marguerite straightened out! She knows her grand daughter because she is so much like she was when she was younger. I LOVE that you have traveling nurses trained in obstetrics!! I totally appreciate it! But Aunt Janie is an experienced midwife like her mother was many years ago. That's why Aunt Vera told Charlotte she needs to talk to Aunt Janie.
Now we know how that toilet set got left up🤣🤣, the men were in a hurry to get out of there 🤣🤣🤣. I am just loving the look into the lives of your little dolls. It is wonderful!

Another day another drama, boy those dolls have busy lives 😁 the men must have built up some muscles with all the furniture moving up and down stairs 😅
I understand Marguerite and Saudi's situation lol, when me and my husband were getting married 40 years ago, our parents took over and didn't give us much say in things, everything was taken out of our hands, it was very frustrating, but we were quite young and I think they thought they were doing us a favour at the time 🙄, but at the end of the day everything worked out, we were married and the rest is history lol.

YES DIANE! It happens like that so often more often than should be the case. I had the a similar experience. The parents many times think they are helping but really they are playing out their unresolved feelings about their big day. Not considering how the ACTUAL BRIDE and GROOM are feeling, or what they really need. They need support, guidance and reassurance. So glad that in spite of everything in the end you were Married!!

Your story is amazing ,you sure your not taking this from a real life experience. Maybe a bit of family history. Oh well I love it ,people today don’t realize how difficult it was to court. My mum told me she would have to court from a window to spend time with my dad. Oh and they both had to have chaperones.Good lord I’m amazed anyone got married back then 🤣🤣😂😂💕💕💕💕

Gretchen, have you considered writing a book or short series of books with the images and narration you're using. You could use a snip tool on the computer to pause the video and copy that image saved as a picture. Then just type the words you've already spoken in the video.
