Those chairs are adorable, great job! Your childhood chair is so sweet and original, you must have brought so many smiles to your dad's face!
I love the little green chair!❤ Years ago I belonged to a House of Miniatures subscription~a new kit every month!!
YES YES YES! PAM , THOSE WERE THE GOOD OLE DAYS!💖😀
I RUINED SO MUCH KITS! RUSHING, TOO MUCH GLUE, THE WRONG GLUE, WRONG PARTS AND HANDLING TOO MUCH WHILE DRYING!🤭😅☺️😔💖
These chairs are adorable and I’m so excited for the wedding!
Really nice chairs, Gretchen.💕💟💜
What pretty little chairs! 🥰Your childhood chair really is impressive- I couldn't have made it at that age, and I'm not even sure I could now. 😊 With all the children in the rooming house, extra children's seating will be useful before, during, and after the wedding. 🙂 You're making good progress on the EGU, too.☺
Looks like 'predetermined' would be the way to go for me lol, and your EGU restraint is admirable too!😂❤
Great build tutorial, love that striped fabric.
Love these chairs! You’re right - very regal! Thanks much Kathleen ❤
I am so impressed with the chair you made when you were a child! It is so inspired and I would still use it for an extra chair. The kits are beautiful, I just know Daddy is proud of his Little Gretchen ❤ xx
Such lovely adorable chairs, Gretchen. I know your Dad would be so proud. The one you made as a girl was perfectly. I fondly remember the striped cushions in the Church mothers' and elders' homes. Thank you for that wonderful memory. I have always loved these little kits. I am going to have to look into some for 1:6 scale.
They turned out great, and I really appreciate the tutorial since I have several of these chair kits to make! 😊
Love your chairs! I can’t thank you enough for sharing the kits. I bought several on eBay and got intimidated once I saw them in person. So they’ve been sitting in a box. Maybe I’ll be brave and try them now lol you’re so talented and encouraging and I always look forward to what you’re up to next. The wedding is going to be beautiful!
The chairs look great and I love the fabric you chose, especially for the Queen Anne chairs. 😊
"I can't believe Daddy kept buying them!" HAHAH! Love these!
Never made a kit. These came out very nice. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🌺
Great chairs hon, well done. Take care 👏🙏❤️
Awesome! You have inspired me to give it a try. I found the kits online and bought 2 of them. AND I’ll have your video as a guide and support, thank you. ❤
Hello Gretchen, the chairs turned out lovely, I like the fabric you chose, the wedding preparations are getting exciting, can't wait to see the ceremony when all your hard work comes together, its going to be amazing.
Have a lovely rest of the week.
Best Wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧 😊
THey came out beautiful!
It makes you appreciate why minis cost so much! Preach.
I built these chairs for my Tavern too, and was also so pleased. They went together well, though for tavern with heavy use, I used a cotton for utility and robustness.. Yours are so elegant and lovely. Gretchen do be sure to check your PO Box...there might be a little something.....
I am SO IMPRESSED on how far you have come with you usage of glue! I'm serious! Everything looks neat and tidy and the chairs are wonderful. Congratulations!! ❣
Thanks Kat! I am truly trying to grow and improve as an artist! I know my methods are unorthodox but l definitely need to be neater!🤭😅☺️💖l appreciate you for watching!
Gretchen, I love the chairs! I also really love your little green chair! That was very cleverly done and turned out great.
I would love to try those chairs, but I do NOT have a steady hand. I may just try anyway. The fabric you used on the Queen Anne chairs is very pretty. The child size chair fabric is perfect for children.
The wedding is going to be lovely!
I'm so glad to see this tutorial. I was gifted three large moving boxes full of those kits in various states of completion and disrepair. Many are missing the instructions so it should be an adventure to figure out what pieces go with which kit.
Fabulous.
I love kits too, I buy ones in 12th for nursery chairs and kid size beds because, with a little manipulation and some shortening of legs etc, I can get them to work for 18th scale too. These are beautiful Gretchen, I am sure your Dad would be so proud of you and he would be tickled by the loyal following you have because of what he taught you ❤ I love your childhood chair, its really gorgeous, I would be happy finding a little chair like yours ❤
I have made those chairs, and used the blue fabric that came with the kits. Thinking I would change it. Many years later, they are still blue. Lol
I love how the ad for this video (at least when I watched) started with an ad for wedding supplies at Hobby Lobby. Lol😂 Ok now I'll watch the video..
Fantastic Gretchen! I am happy you chose not to go with the fabric that came in the kit. I think the fabric you chose is better suited for those chairs. Great Job!
hi Gretchen, I love the chairs!
I like your use of the glue tip bottles
Those kits look so cool! And of course you made the chairs beautiful. How many more do you think you'll need for all the wedding guests? this is shaping up to be a big wedding
I love your new method of using the squeezy glue bottle by dipping the tip in glue and spreading it around😂 ( I have done this since it takes soooooo loooong for glue to get to the end of that tip!) I was looking at kits online just before watching this. I've yet to do one.. I like the modification you did on the chairs with the slats on the back. Love when you mention your Daddy. 🤗 We are all benefiting from the methods he taught you. Your green chair is beautiful!!! 💚Far better than the kit! Really! But the kits you did are awfully nice😍✨
Ahhh i have those kits... youve done a fab job❤
And yes...they are small arent they? I didnt know there was 2 sizes.
I see you are still struggling with EGU! 😛 I like your little green chair, it is very cute. I have a couple kits I need to get to.
Ooooooo I have those chairs, love them xx
"...anytime you want to avoid certain problems it's always good to check with the intent of the Creator." (4:45) I wholeheartedly agree! God bless 💖✝
A couple of questions: Under what circumstances do you wear gloves? Also, what is the story of your kits and your Daddy? I’m new to you 😊
I so enjoy your videos; your sense of humor is fabulous. Where in the world are you?
Hi Lola! I usually try to wear nitrile gloves if I'm using products that could be toxic or are really messy! It's too much to share in comments but I have several videos when I talk about Daddy in my ORIGINAL DOLLHOUSE Tour, that'll kind of give you more of my backstory. But l'm in United States "Michigan"💖😀!
@@littlegretchensworkshop7665 my best friend just moved to Grand Rapids with her family! I’m in California, but I’ll be visiting Michigan this year for sure.
When assembling, cats should be conspicuously absent.
Lololollol l KNOW RIGHT 🤭🤣😂🤣😂💖💖💖💖💖💖😀
Hi Gretchen, I sent you a message via Instagram. Hope that's okay x
