There's a trend on youtube where people are making guitars from interesting objects, so I thought I might as well join in the fun. This guitar was started back in March and reached completion some 7 months later.

@@CranmerGuitars How much do you want for it, just curious?
This is truly incredible
The fact that you made the whole thing, not just the body out of sticks is incredible
Dan Barrett Too right. Most of these kind of “builds” only consist of the body, with the neck taken off a Squire or an Epiphone or similar, which is kinda cheating in a way!

Just painting a guitar like this would be mildly impressive. Actually making the guitar out of wooden pixels is really impressive. Nice work.
There appears to be a language barrier. In the UK, the word 'popsicle' does not exist, hence why I call the sticks lollipop sticks
Cranmer Guitars Don’t worry, American people are always wrong.
Do "lolipops" come on sticks like those in the UK? If not, why not call them "ice lolis", which I think is the normal UK term?
@@piousminion7822 lollipops and ice lollies both the same and I've used both terms . I dont think one is more "normal" than the other .

@Satanic Beer Chugger oh no. It's probably not fragile at all. Small pieces of wood glued together makes, if properly done, a very strong structure.
Jocke Dredd Cool, but stop using emojis.
My question is, how can someone who has watched the whole vid dislike it? x) this is several months of incredible work and the result is amazing!

Yes you can easily put a price on it. Hourly rate x how many hours. Lets say $200/hr for 30hrs. Price is $6000. Done.

@@WHALEx3 what i was thinking
Honestly this is the coolest one out of every guitar building video i've seen
Man, this is the best guitar build video I've ever come across. This will forever be my favorite because of the use of those sticks, what a job!
In North America, a "lollipop" is actually a hard candy on a paper stick so I came here really confused on how you'd make a guitar out of paper sticks.
I think it's the same anywhere, I'm from Aus, and even I was expecting the tube-like handle things that most actual lollipops have. Maybe he's just getting the name wrong, considering what he's using are usually referred to as popsicle sticks. I dunno, just a guess?
I already saw some wood crafts with similar sticks, so I didn't give it a second thought, but now that I think about it, these ARENT lollipop sticks.
These are called lollipop sticks in the UK. We don’t use the word ‘popsicle’
@@MonotoneCreeper I kind of figured that might be the case, which is why I took care not come off as obnoxious as I know UA-cam has viewers and content creators from all over the globe. Thanks for the clarification though, if I ever visit the UK I'll keep this in mind so as to not sound like an oblivious tourist 😅
That being said, what term do people in the UK use for a hard candy on a stick?
@@NeonLightedDreams We call those lollipops or lollies. We call popsicles 'ice lollies', so I assume that lollipop stick comes from a shorter version of 'ice lollipop stick'. Glad I could help, nice to see some civility in UA-cam comments for a change :)

@paul beenis compared to people who do gaming or reaction videos (which is easy work) he gets no views. An average gaming/reaction video gets like 1-5 million views but he only got half a million. Also it might seem like a lot and it is, but if you compare it to other people then it isn't. @@PsychoKern true :l
KoobzZ its just not to everyone’s interest. Also, it’s too long to be popular. If he made a 7 second clip of how he made this whole guitar, or had flashy editing and effects, then the masses could process it. But 17 min is sadly too long for most people’s attention span nowadays.
I’m not by any means saying he should shorten the video, since I watched and loved the whole thing just as it is. I’m just saying why it’s not as popular.

This makes the Crimson guitars "Complication" guitar look easy! This is awesome!
With one big difference, this guitar, however art without a doubt, will not be long lived if really played. The used wood will sooner or later bend under the tension as it is way to soft for building a guitar. But with this project, i think, the art comes before a long-term playable guitar.
