This guy’s videos are hard to watch because he feels the need to show his face in closeup for 3/4 of the video. A lot of youtubers do that- they don’t realize the camera turns the other way too. There are some tubers that I have never seen. They make fantastic videos, and I have no idea what they look like. Too much of the face, I say.

My guy, you don't have to apologize for a project taking longer than expected. Honestly it shows us that you take pride in what you do, not only as a content creator, but as a Maker as well. You just do whatever you need to make sure your projects meet your expectations. Now for the real question.. Can you shred on that thing?
Nick, have you ever thought about putting a load of these Cd,s into a food blender, granulate them to about chunks (8mm) then put them into the resin and cast a guitar body to keep them in suspension youl have to rotate the mould until it goes off, then light will reflect of the CDs from all angles, just a thought.
Suggestions: A) Shape your head-stock. That paddle head looks terrible. B) Embed an LED in the middle, maybe under the pickups, so that it shines out between the gaps in the mosaic. I think blue would compliment the color of the DVD's.
This is utterly fantastic, but just a quick thought - If you'd have ran the blank through a planer and took about 6mm or so off the front face, that would have allowed ample room to layer the dvd shards on and let it sit on the recesses in the molds while letting the resin flow feely beneath it. Cheers!
Wow, that was worth waiting four weeks for Nick, that guitar is simply stunning! 😍😍😍 Never apologise for taking time over your projects, you put your heart and soul into everything you do and it's really noticeable and we love you for it. Thanks for doing what you do

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! You do wonderful work!! My kiddos absolutely love to watch ALL your projects!! Don’t apologize for no content because the outcome of this is wonderful!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I have an entire bin of cds & DVDs I have been meaning to do things with… you’re always inspiring to me
My guy, you don't have to apologize for a project taking longer than expected. Honestly it shows us that you take pride in what you do, not only as a content creator, but as a Maker as well.
You just do whatever you need to make sure your projects meet your expectations.
Now for the real question.. Can you shred on that thing?
Nick, have you ever thought about putting a load of these Cd,s into a food blender, granulate them to about chunks (8mm) then put them into the resin and cast a guitar body to keep them in suspension youl have to rotate the mould until it goes off, then light will reflect of the CDs from all angles, just a thought.
ive never been sold on a youtube channel faster love this man
This is the coolest thing Nick has ever made.
This guy is so creative it blows me away.
Suggestions: A) Shape your head-stock. That paddle head looks terrible. B) Embed an LED in the middle, maybe under the pickups, so that it shines out between the gaps in the mosaic. I think blue would compliment the color of the DVD's.
Great project and well worth the wait. You and The Positive Couple do AWESOME things with resin.
