Chasing Master Browns on First Ice

- Its that time of year again when the weather turns cool and the ice starts to form. It was late November and yet we had almost no snow but we found a little place that had some safe ice.
It is always a great trip when we are accompanied by the one and only Stagg On The Line which always makes for an interesting day.
Its only the beginning of the ice season so please stay safe and make sure to properly check the ice at all times.
Thanks for watching.
Check out Stagg On The Lines UA-cam video below for another version of the days happenings.

Nice job Mike! I am still looking for my lifer brown. I wish we had them in NW Ontario. Ive tried Foot Print and Lyons, only got rainbows. Some day.... some day lol
Nice!
Panic flipped the bail open 😮
Nice Brown none the less 👌
Shush. You dident see that. Lol
Nice 👍 was this twin lake in the ducks? I am looking for new places to this year. We are going to go target certain fish species this year. Did the walleye thing all last winter. Time to switch it up. Crappie in whiteshell, lakers at bakers. Maybe rainbows too while we are up there. Any tips ?
I am guessing Reynolds Ponds. I wish NW Ontario had the stocking program Manitoba has. MB fishing is so much better! Can't wait to wet a line in that province again!
He made another video today I was in it!
Was Kali's brookie around 19"?? Had one in the fall there with one messed up fin was soooo skinny like that and around 19"
Nice Brown Mike!
I would say close. We dident measure it as we wanted to put it back in the water asap. That’s cool to know though
I believe ion and Eskimo are the same company
Yes they are.
@ReelLifeWithMike I'm looking into an electric auger this year. My old gas auger still works just fine, and I'm cheap, lol. Mike has two. I'm too cheap for one, lol.
