Crappie Situation
Переглядів 1 тис.Місяць тому
The day started off a bit off but we managed to get back on track and get on the crappie. Although we were only out for a couple of hours we managed to get a couple fish for supper. Lee River is always a great place to catch these tasty treats.
Super Rare Fish in Manitoba?
Переглядів 2,6 тис.Місяць тому
Well, here is the debate on if the white bass is actually a rare catch. I have posted a video earlier in the year and some of the comments were saying people have been catching them throughout the years but yet we haven't seen or heard about them in some time. So me and @staggontheline decided to head out once again on the search for the infamous White Bass and although it was a battle we manag...
First Time Fishing from a Kayak (Central Canada Kayak Trail)

The Central Canadian Kayak Trail is a new tournament put on by Kickerfish which spanned across 4 different water sources such as Lac Du Bonnet, Pelican Lake, Shoal Lake and lastly Longbow Lake. This was the first time I have fished in a kayak let alone a tournament and I have to admit I had an absolute blast. I would like to give a huge shout out to Brandon for letting me use his kayak (sorry I...

This was definitely a great trip as we were out in Arizona for my nephews wedding, my 43rd birthday and our 10 year anniversary. We did not get a lot of time as I was officiating the wedding but we had to take some time to at least got out for a bit. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Courtney, the owner of Liars Korner as him and his staff were not only very helpful but an absolute blast to t...
The Journey Day 2 (Matheson Island to Gull Harbor)
Переглядів 9972 місяці тому
The second day of the journey from the north basin of lake Winnipeg was another memorable trip. Although we did not fish as much as we wanted to in a place we have never been, we thought we would rather take the nice weather and do some traveling. It was so nice to be back in some sort of civilization and the great food and drinks we had at @gullharbourmarina sure made the half way point that m...

I wasnt going to produce this but thought it was to funny not to. Some times we just have those days where nothing works but still its great to be out. Let me know if you have ever gone out of your comfort zone or done something strange, just to stay on the water longer. Thanks so much for watching.
The Journey Day 1 (North Basin)
Переглядів 1,2 тис.3 місяці тому
Kali and I decided to take a trip from the north basin of Lake Winnipeg all the way down to Selkirk which was around 250 miles. Along the journey we were collecting money to help with school fishing programs and youth fishing in general. We ended up raising just over $2000 which was unbelievable. I would love to thank all of the people and companies that donated and all of the people that have ...
20 Pure Minuets of Crushing Walleyes (UNEDITED)
Переглядів 1,5 тис.3 місяці тому
This video was taken on day one of my 4 day trip down lake Winnipeg. @staggontheline decided to take me to a little fishing spot know to produce large amounts of cookie cutter 20' walleyes and well it was no joke. We have already been fishing for over an hour or so before deciding to make the video so we were already almost worn out. Absolutely love fishing in the North Basin of Lake Winnipeg.

A new day means a new location. It is always great to try something new, especially when meeting up with a couple buddies from the good ol US of A. Although the weather started off gloomy, the clouds started to separate and grace one of us with an absolutely beast of a walleye. Great time Great friends = Great fishing. Thanks for watching
Battling Channel Cats on the Red River

Kali's sister Lisa came out for a Winnipeg visit and wanted to go fishing. Rather then going for walleyes we decided to giver her a bit of an experience. An experience that people come from all over to try........Channel Cat fishing. These are super powerful fish and are some of the biggest channel cats around so I knew it was going to be a battle. The weather has been quite bad at the beginning of the season so I decided to take a chance at some Urban Fishing. Sturgeon Creek is just west of Winnipeg's City center and well I have always wanted to see what I could get. i know I couldn't do it alone so I enlisted in the help of none other then @staggontheline . This was more of a straight drop shot kind of day and I have to admit, I was qui...

what about a video of how to build the bed step by step? :)
@@mgproductions5318 that would of been good but when I started I had no idea how it was going to turn out. I made 4 of them before it worked. But I could do a walkthrough video on how it’s put together for sure. Thanks for watching
Hi Mike, we met on the weekend and i fell in love with your eskimo 650xd. Im wondering if you know of any upcoming BF or boxing day sales?
Also wanted to pick up an Eskimo e40 10" composite too at the same time
@@GoogleAlvin I’m glad it helped for you to make a decision. Unfortunately I am more of a product tester and what not so I don’t know the big deals. But if I hear anything I will for sure try to reach out.
Great video! You should consider adding some insulation to your heat run and return. It will definetly improve the heaters preformance.
@@howarddittrich157 you’re 100% correct on that. I’m working on a couple of different models where the output is almost directly against the tent and the input will be insulated. I definitely know that metal ducting will lose a ton of heat.
Does the handle fold
Great video mike, very informative. Thanks!
Thanks so much for watching. I just got the 2600 so stay tuned
I have a 160-watt panel charging an RV lead acid marine battery. When fully charged I charge an iron phosphate power station with an inverter. Most of the time I have extra power but I want another 160-watt panel to double the voltage on cloudy days. It's for a teepee tent I use the same stuff like a diesel heater on it.
@@troytaylor1913 that’s good to hear. I got a larger solar this year and will Definetly post the results
I have to set up another solar battery for an electric fence. At this place, I had to set my tent up and work while someone was feeding bears. That person died and I have to go clean that place up. This place belongs to my x-boss and I got to go work for him again cleaning this place. With some signs I can use a high-voltage coil it is very desolate there is no electricity there.
I was very nervous in the summer because of the bears coming around looking for food. I was staying in a summer cabin tent a good one. I got to be there in the winter so I'm putting together a heated teepee also, things are easier to move in the snow with a sled. I kind of been using my camping gear for doing work instead of for camping for a couple of years. It gives me a place to stay in desolate places
Great idea! Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.
Really Mike ...... A ice fishing vid , before the ice is in !!!! I just picked up a new Ion Alpha 10 plus , and already was sitting at the edge of my seat waiting for ice !!!! Now I'm really chomping at the bit !!!! Great video again , thanks for posting it up !!! Really .......LOL
Ha ha. I wish I had more. I got rid of so many just because I dident think I needed them. But so many people love the ice. I’ll put lots aside for next year.
And your welcome ha ha
How‘s the Suzi working on the back ? What‘s the top end guys? Really awesome boat
@@matthewmatthew5978 it’s been flawless over the last couple years. The fastest I have gotten was 34-35mph but my general cruising speed is typically 25-27 mph
Use welding blanket cut and line
What are those tables for the Eskimo Flip over? Id love some of those.
Those are from a company called arclab Motorsport they make some awesome stuff for sure. www.arclabmotorsports.com/
That's awesome man, some nice catches! Looks like a lot of fun!!
Super jealous! I keep throwing bags of ice in my lake, but it's not working lol just have to watch videos till then I guess 😂
Dude cud pass for Murray's big brother
@@joshuawillett850 lol
That top crossbar on the cot looked like a back breaker to sleep on. So much nicer with a seat removed and a fullsize cot
It actually wasn’t too bad. I made sure it was quite flat and didn’t really notice it with the sleeping pad. The hard part with the 2400 is that the bench doesn’t remove without unscrewing it. Also, it’s one of their smallest flip over so I’m not sure a car would even fit in there lol this was more just a fun project and will be working on a 2600 flip over overnight this year.
Great video! I’m a new fan. Heater setup super cool. I did my flip the same way. A little more over the top tho. An idea is run an aerator ( Mr. bubbler ) in shack . Keeps those bait fish so much more active. Oh put ear plugs over exposed treble hooks while traveling. No more snags😉
@@ICEGOD68 nice tips. I got some fun stuff planed for this year so stay tuned
Holy smokes thanks for sharing! Awesome video 🎉
Fun videos are the best!
I waited all summer for this video!!!! Amazing work everyone
Looks like a hoot, man! Ice season is just around the corner. Looking forward to following some of your adventures this year 🤙
@@NickLindner always looking for more people to join ha ha. Looking at going again this year maybe we will have to keep in touch.
When was this vid made
This was made at the end of last year. I wanted to put it out before the ice season so people have the opportunity to check the airbnb for this hard water season.
It wasn't mid March, was it? I was up there out from the red and I swear I ran into 3 guys, one being from Oklahoma, I think the other 2 were locals. They loaned me a pliers because I forgot mine and hadn't pinched the barbs 🤦♂️ (I'm from the states)
@@gordio23 I wish it was us that would’ve been a great story. We were a pretty large group of people, but the other guys were out for a couple days before us so it could’ve been them.

Awesome to see you back on the hardwater. That AirBNB is the perfect location for ice fishing! Looking forward to seeing you at the Ice Fishing Show.
For sure. I just wish I had more ice content. lol. Something took on this year
Thanks for making this video. I've long thought that it must be possible. Now I know. Knowledge is power. In this case, it's 5 volts of power. 👍

Open water videos! I haven’t seen you in my feed since ice season and was getting my ice camping stuff ready and thought of you lol. Gonna turn notifications on cuz the algorithm is doing you dirty. I had two similar things happen in my boat this week, the tool bag comes in clutch for 95% of things on the water.
@@DruFishing well I always appreciate you watching. I have some ice stuff coming out as well as some ice camping ideas. Being on the ice.
@@ReelLifeWithMike Look forward to watching them, and this season of traveling up north to Red Lake and LOTW if our season is only a week or two again in Indiana.

Great video Mike and Kali! what baits were yall using?
Next time you're in my neck of the woods give me a shout. Love crappie fishing on Lee.
Excellent idea placing the air intake inside to recirculate. I just got two and the vevor 8kws and made stand to fit my house windows for emergency heat backups. After seeing that, I’ll mod my widow inserts to run the intake inside as well.
@@SecretSquirrel-et6dl I find equalizing the air pressure helps with circulation and creates better heat.
@@ReelLifeWithMike good to know. I’m really excited about these. Not top of the line but the reviews I’ve seen have been great. My first venture into diesel heaters. Had it all apart tonight. Things are so simple! 👍🏻
Awesome video , and what looked like a fantastic time !!! I can't wait to sit over a school of crappie and pic them off while watching my live scope !!! Hope to be down there next year !!!! Unfortunately Alberta has no crappie ....
Hey Mike, curious if you got that light set up produced for the escape flip over yet
Now I know where I parked?!

@@bcityj lol. When I was unloading the tarp apparently I lifted my outboard to the top and I guess pinched a gas line which caused a small cut. Amazing how a small cut could do it but glad at last I somewhat know what I’m doing. Lol

Thanks for leaking gas into our water system. That why guys shouldn't share their spots with clowns like you
Thx for the view
