I like how Fallout's guide is less than half an hour and doesn't leave me confused on the raid compared to the other hour+ guides put out by other creators
How do you fight the hardest part of the raid; the LFG Discord. "Must have 100 clears, must KWTD, must have emblem, quick run, will check raid report, will check your credit score".
Hey fallout, quick note about the first encounter: The "starting plate" is always in the room where the overload spawns. Remember before the first tormentor where the voerload is and it makes finding the start plate easy.
Which also means the team that found the first overload can start spawning resonance immediately while the other team proceeds through their path of the maze
So we actually had an overload on each side once and we found it’s whoever kills theirs first that gets their plate active first, cus it will cause the 2nd one to despawn
I found it helpful on the 2nd encounter to have everyone do 2 circuit cycles once buff starts, break it and then send 3 people to the middle. Leave all resonances on the ground. After they get valor, they can go to their plate and call the shape. Then they grab 2 to 3 of their shape, the sender goes up the other side and grabs the other shape. Then reveiver tells sender to send and everyone closes. This mininizes resonance waste.
Yep. We had one person grab Pyramid and one grab Sphere and whichever one had whatever was on the totem was the closer. Made it much more relaxed, especially on left side which is its own jumping puzzle.
My team managed to do the encounter triumph for the first encounter by accident. Surprising win considering we didn't even read them. Fantastic opening encounter.
Witness is free btw. You can git 2 red borders per week just from joining a witness CP. 1 red border from the completion and another from the key you get. I'd highly recommend learning how to run mechanics for the Witness CP, do that 15 times, once perk week and you can easily crafte all raid weapons.
My clan spent about 15 hours running this (4 of those hours spent watching your vids to help us run through it). Seriously, thank you for getting to the point and breaking it down so Barney style that even our least experienced raiders could get a clear on something this hard.
I mostly see Datto guide and maybe others but as far as now, Fallout has make the guide even better to the point that even not so good ppl will understand the guide to do the encounter.
I watched Dattos guide… Kackis guide… couple others… & THIS & your 4th encounter one are just AMAZING!!! I finally feel confident going into the raid… BEST PART IS THESE ARE THE SHORTEST GUIDES TOOOO!! & you gave the most & best info too
For the 1st encounter are the glowing plates in the 3rd room that each team cleared before killing the second tormentor or are they in the room where the overloads spawn?
actually was wondering if you had any tips for those of us with visual problems cause encounters 3&4 i see being extremely problematic for those of us with visual problems
For the witness encounter, any chance does bannershield titan protect you and your team from the witness' attacks? I have managed to completely nullify damage from these for myself in exicision with the new titan aspect block.
Is anyone else having problems with first encounter? I ran through the raid a few times before and never had this issue. Hydras keep spawning very late and over and over even though we are not doing anything wrong. Again I've done this multiple times and we are destroying all the ads, overloads, and tormentors and all that and they keep popping up and bugging the raid acting like we didn't just clear the rooms and tormentors. If there's a secret mechanic like "don't shoot the hydras too fast" let me know 😂
@Fallout...your killing me my dude with the plate mechanics. This is more for those gamers with not great timing. You can hit the totem well before the beam enters the plate, thus allowing players the time to focus on hitting the plate at the correct time. This is what I'm teaching a bunch of new raiders and it helps a lot for them. (Just make sure the start plate sent the charge and you are golden to is hit the totem)
Correct! I am 100 percent sure that you are supposed to hit the totem well before your charge comes, hitting it early doesnt do anything as long as its the last pass back to you.
Note for encounter 1 : When locking, you can shoot the lock early when they say sent, then step on to lock normally when the charge gets into the plate.

By far the best guide. Concise, with photo examples and the run down. So many guides just give a whole speech without much visuals which is completely useless.
iv'e watched ALL of the guide-viodes for this raid, most of them takes an hour. But this 30 min video, is the first video iv'e watched where I actually feel like I understand whats going on! massive thanks Fallout!
Fallouts ways of making everything sound so simple, paired with spot on visuals to help convey the info is just top fucking notch. No other d2uber I trust to help me understand wtf to do when it comes to raids and challenges.
Hey Fallout, thanks for this. My friends and I are going to take our first steps into this raid tomorrow night. We will need this guide. Wish us luck. Hoping to finish at least one encounter tomorrow.
Encounter 3. Collect 3 of what is closest to you, then have middle totem closer swap their side (while continuing the bounce). They close their tower, and the remaining 2 players swap and close theirs. Deliberately spawning Omens is a bad habit that will bite back in master.
Question Guardians. 1st Encounter the First team is doing their plates without assisting killing the 2nd Tormentor. The Second team we are not getting our Hydra. The first team are getting multiple Hydra's. Also Hydras are randomly appearing in the Center. Why is that? Im guessing a bug. Something is missing
Thank you for this video! We are going to try to finish our 1st clear today and your video had been very helpful in making that happen. You are the best!
I watched both Datto and Mactics' guides on this as well and I want you know that yours is WAY better. The Sequence and (especially) Pacing of how you choose to explain mechanics is significantly better and you always have properly matching footage in the video that correspond with what you are talking about (Something Datto's guides do poorly) in that exact moment. I think you have a way stronger understanding of how the average Raider thinks. The fact that yours is so much Shorter despite having better explanations speaks volumes to how much unnecessary filler and repetition is in other guide maker's videos. If you weren't late in dropping your video you'd probably have the most views.
The chest isn't garbage. Only one person can dunk at a time. If you are holding interact, and someone else is already in the process of dunking, when they finish dunking, it will reset your interact. Best to dunk one person at a time. I had a team all crowding around the chest and getting killed by the witness. Establish a dunk order, and do that. I have also seen some people saying that after the first person dunks, everyone else can dunk, but let one person dunk first. This will require a little more testing but that makes sense to me and is probably correct. During the second encounter, if you fail the plate mechanic, the symbol on your totem can change. You need to always be aware of what the symbol is. Ideally you don't fail the plate mechanic at all in this fight, but with the stasis enemies that spawn, that can be very difficult. Just be aware that the symbol can change if you mess up the plate mechanic and have to kill a mini-boss.
My team noticed that after the first person dunked, there was a couple second delay before anyone else could dunk. After that delay is over, the message "The altar hungers for your offering" appears, and everyone can dunk at the same time without any issue.
Something that my team did on the Herald encounter. we had a lot of trouble with adds after we got the favor. We did plates and spawned the residence buffs before we got the favor buff from the boss. the adds don't spawn until after the boss gives you stolen favor. You will have to fight the mini boss but while the team in the middle is dealing them the Herald the other can kill the mini boss and then pick up the buff they need.
Despite this being the most confusing raid I’ve ever played, your guide is perfectly structured, and actually makes it more easily recognizable. I love this so much.❤

If you’re on still hunt for DPS, you should be a runner and use an eager edge sword for your heavy. I was easily doing 3 hands, sometimes covering a 4th if the other runner messed up or died. It also lets you get to back of the map to have the best angle of the resonance cruxes when you need to make the shape.
