Also you forgot to mention that it's Tile-Able (i got it tiled without changing anything except putting encased chain drives, so now i got 3 chunks full of 'em) Super cool design, super compact for the SU it produces.
Another great tutorial kindle, I am so close to getting to steam engine on my game, now with this extra information I can't wait to get started thanx again
man I played through the create astral modpack like 2 months ago and now when I started watching your videos I started a new playtrough cuz with your tutorials it sounded so fun so thank you so much
I just want to point out that it is not 6x8 but 7x8... because there are 2 stone blocks at the top to prevent lava from falling down (which are not into the schematic and I almost spilled lava everywhere due to these 2 missing blocks).
pls help mine does not work. it says its overstressed when i place the last cogwheel to start it. i can start start i tho if i connect a cogwheel to the front mechanical pump and use a hand crank, but ovbousley that is very slow and does not continue the self sufficiensy if i stop using the crank. should not that i can run it on 100 and not 180
double check that the water wheels are all turning from the water below it. If one water wheel isn't being pushed, it will still rotate but won't generate any SU. If that doesn't work, try adding 1 or 2 more waterwheels to power the on/off switch to see if that is the issue.
@@quic7434 that sounds like only 1/2 of the water wheels are actually working. If you place 1 at a time and remove the ones next to it, you should be able to find which ones don’t spin
14 should be the correct number (on average). if all dripstone blocks have lave dripping out of them then you didn't mess anything up. I would afk for all the cauldrons to fill up and then start the farm. after that it should work indefinitely. You also have to be within the random tick range (i think having a chunk loader also works) for the cauldrons to fill up so if your far-ish away it won't fill up
@@callofangels7 I think you can. As long as all the steam engines are connected to shafts and all the shafts are turning the same way (connected with belts or whatever else) then it should work. I would recommend putting a stressometer on the end of the shaft to see how many SU you have and if it's ~150k then it's working correctly
Drill? Do you mean mechanical arm or pump or something? If it’s the arm, make sure it can pickup full lava buckets from the chute, deposit items in the blaze burners, and also deposite (empty buckets only) into the empty buckets only chute. If it wasn’t the mechanical arm just lmk and I can help!
very good one, I'm definitly going to use in my next playthrough with create.

Great point!!!

Thanks! Good luck getting to steam engines!
yo dude thanks so many for showing how to make it ,i used it to get used to how steam engines work and ended up making my own that works the same

Awesome! Glad I got you back into it! It really is a ton of fun!
@@kindlebubbledump yeah it really is
i swear you are the best i managed to power the xp farm i love your videos keep it up man
Sweet, glad it all works! Thanks for the support!
@@kindlebubbledump no worrys im sorry i took yourtime just to reply to me
@m7d_as32 no problem at all!
Best tutorial,best design,everythink best!!! i love you

i have a question, how do you see these stress units ect.? when i look at the fluid tanks nothing shows up
You need engineers goggles in your helmet slot. They’re pretty cheap to craft
thanks
If i build another one next to it, can i double the output?
Yes!
nothing will break if we don’t put the cauldrons and lava stuff if we already have an inf lava source already right?
Yup nothing should break!
so for some reason it only works at 100 speed and says overstressed when used at 180
Make sure water is going through every water wheel. All the water wheels will spin even if they aren’t generating power.
@@kindlebubbledump i figured it out i just used my windmill and connected it thru shafts

Ye thet do spin but u added 7 more wheels so now it can runt at 176

my drip stones are way to slow for the machine did i fuck something up? or do i just have to wait for the cauldrons to get full power again?

why are my pipes connecting to the blaze burners?
That should still work, those blaze burners might just get first dibs on lava
what mod are you using for the timer tooltip?
The mod is called jade I think!
wish there was a tutorial on the best one kinda sucks that there isnt cause i could make it. but good video anyway
Thanks! I have a max sized tutorial on my list of farms to cover but it might be a bit until I get to it!
My drill just doesn't pick the lava up and brings it to the blazes, was your configuration right??
