I personally don't mind if Afro looks at guides for stuff he wants to get, as long as it makes you more invested in the game and doesn't ruin your own experience. I like to simply watch you have fun, not judging you at anything

Ive been using wiki after I beat the main story to get all weapons spells armor and mannn the amount of content thats hidden away is insane I just grinded 8 hours today getting all the sorceries besides a few I missed through the invasion quests and boss souls that I cant duplicate anymore, so many places you can miss even exploring your absolute hardest
Me and my brother play this game together. If it's too hard for him he gives it to me. Sometimes it's to much for me but we work together to get it done. No help from other online players. There are so many bosses I can't wait to see you play. I hope this series continues

It is totally fine to look stuff up there are just a lot of "gatekeepers" in the souls community, who think that there is only one way to enjoy/play the game. You know those are the people who when you look for some tips to a boss always just write: "git gud". Elden Ring is huge and for someone who never played any souls games before it can feel overwhelming. Sure if you played all Souls games you kinda know how to approach it and what to expect but if you haven't then you might be lost. I am sure even souls veterans looked up stuff when they started playing those games and to be honest i think it can even enhance the experience at least to some degree. If it is too easy it kills the experience but if you are stuck permanently and miss things that add to the story, it also kills the experience. Sharing and collaborating online is how people find out about a lot of fun stuff in the games, not only hidden things but also about cool combos, items and builds.
I use the ornamental straight sword (as I am a duel wielding, dex build) and I love them. They got me all the way to Rahdan and I love it. I upgraded to +5 and it begins to do some stupid damage at that point.
@@nikku3184 I’ve heard the great stars is great because it has innate bleed, good strength scaling, and the healing per hit thing. I’ve personally never used it so I don’t know how it holds up during endgame but it’s probably viable since it has bleed and good scaling.

The more look at this game the more I think of it as a supernatural version of monster Hunter world because you always got to hunt monsters to increase the weapon damage and armor stats as well as collect materials to increase the levels of those items and certain items drop after you kill the boss and minions but I think it's more like sekiro or Ghost of Tsushima 💯🤔🤔🤔🤔

Afto, that Night calvery boss is totally doable at your stage so long as you either poison him or get him to run of the bridge from the OTHER side of the bridge you tried it on, do the side with the grace on the right. The hill on the opposite side has poison traps, just get him to follow you through the poison clouds. Also b aware he has to stay in them for a min, since sometimes only his horse will b poisoned.
Afro needs to do some more exploration of the first area, as well as go south of Limgrave and explore that island across the bridge. It has great items and the difficulty is about the same as Limgrave
One thing I love about FromSoft games is how large the community is for a single player intended game. Part of the journey is learning secrets from each other like with all the Sekiro endings or character quest lines. Afro looking at guides isn’t a huge problem for me, I just hope he doesn’t spoil himself
My friend looks up guided before killing a single foe, he got 8 flasks +4 in under 10hrs people i learned pattern for he 1 taps. I dont get how its fun

No spoilers but the sword of night and flame carried me thru nearly the entire game. The versatility in this game is unbelievable
Personally I think it will be getting a nerf, like the ice rind weapon and its ice stomp. Weapons the community gravitate towards usually get nerfed.
