Dark souls 3 has aged like fine wine
Holy shit, I remember starting the game in 2017 and watching some of your videos when searching for tips. I didn't finish the game at the time so i dropped it.
Fast forward to this year, I actually decided to beat it once and for all, and while going through the game I decided to look up that guy who fucking choked on his estus flasks while fighting Pontiff Sulyvahn. Can't believe he came back to the game at almost the same time as me, right after I decided to rewatch some of his old videos.
6:00 the background music he’s playing is from Nier Replicant 👏🏾 love to hear it
It's the only game I have over 150 hours in. Objectively beyond God tier.
Do you play a lot of games or just play less? Cuz that's kinda low on gamer standards for most hours on a game or maybe we just haven't touched enough grass
@@arcyine i have nearly 300 hours in ds3. I don’t remember the feeling of grass.
watching him r1 instead of l1 spam with the sellswords hurt me
2016 beginner Afro: new to the series, has a unique build with random armor, some shield and a sword that he only R1.
2022 Afro, got a booty call with a buddy, insta meta build with the winblades+Stamina shield. Has a 69.9% load build for insane tanking, all of a sudden he has 10’s of embers when he run out against Nameless back in the day. All is set for an EZ DLC run... sadly 2022 Afro still carries 2016 Afro skills and therefore will block attacks with his face most of the time.
But bro, I’ll take this any day of the week. The 2-3 Elden Ring videos we will get are going to be amazing before the next 6 month YT Break!
Nameless king and Dancer were the two hardest bosses for me. Even the Ringed city DLC bosses. I feel your pain.
It was so nice to watch someone experience soul of cinder for the first time, great and have you done the dlc?
You just watched him beat the base game. Dlc comes after
The Nier Music is a nice touch 🔥
I missed afro ds content.
One small suggestion:
-never turn off the soul of cindet music. It is so hype.
And just so you know, Soul of cinder uses different "builds" and fighting styles that the players have had access to in all 3 of the games, like magic with crystal soul spears, pyromancies with curved swords and the famous ninja flips from ds1. It is a pretty nice boss.
Do the DLC as well you are going to love it.
he never finished ds1 so the music will not make sense to him.
Spear stance is easily his easiest phase magic is kinda of annoying with the damn truth seeker orbs on his back lol sword is difficult if your greedy and curved sword
My tech for curved sword is too just run away until he switches stances
@@bigred212 lmao you do exactly the same as me i think spear is easy i just wait till charge then dodge hit move repeat and for magic just gotta smack his ass up and get close that curved sword i dont even mess with tho
@@littylitz2340 Same I'm not real enough to mess with those backflips 😂
Excellent use of the Nier soundtrack
Just platinum DS3 yesterday, such a great series that I can’t wait for Elden ring! Afro better beat the soul of cinder before next month!
Feels great getting a platinum in a souls game, currently working on DS2 then that's the trilogy for me
Platinumed all. Ds3 was by far, the hardest, then Sekiro.
The Nier music was a perfect touch. Makes me wanna go back and play it
May i know the OST's name
@@darshanlevi9052 the song playing during the final fight in the vid is called A Beautiful Song
Even though you beat the king, you didn't really go back to a bonfire, which is my guess as to why you had to fight him again..
That doesn't really make sense though, once you get the items from a boss the boss just dissapears. Otherwise you could just repeatedly farm a boss for easy souls. That being said what most likely happend is that he beat the boss, game didn't safe. He probably quit his playstation without quitting in the game first, meaning that he never saved his progress.
@@hazey5736 so i forget...does resting at a bonfire mean you save the game?? Because thats what im basing it on
@hazey5736 he means he didn't get the save through the bon fire. Not sure if that's true but you mis understood what he said
I felt a lot of schadenfreude but also empathy for that hubris thinking he'd mastered Princes on the first run.
the sellsword blades are giga strong tho, but u shouldnt use R1s for that, only L1s cuz it uses both swords so double the damage. for the complete combo however, its L1 + L2 + R2.
Literally just beat the nameless king for the first time an hour ago! I mean I didn’t need the homies help but it’s all good we all cross the bridge in our own ways
So... this Nameless King is difficult because you could have 15 Estus Flasks at +10. And also under leveled. It's not necessarily a skill thing. Just more exploration and exp would buff up your character.
Great job with the princes, you still won even out gunned. So, what about the DLC? :D
Bro he ain’t getting past the DLC
Back with the Nier OST hell yeah
Afro uploading a video! That's crazy
the nier ost you add into the video actually somewhat fits ds3 ngl
You know the Ost name at 5:10 bro?
@@devilrater8434 emil - sacrifice
You dropping this video right now helps prove I'm still living in the damn simulation
Triggers me how senju don’t be dual wielding the damn weapons
Kubuki: ka-me-ha-me-ha
Afro: fight Soul of Cinder doing the same movie: I see Kubuki doing this
Nier music with dark souls 3 played perfectly? You sir have my respect.
The fact that he wasn't using the L1 attacks with the sellswords was getting to me
Just trophied all 3 dark souls games, I’m ready for elden ring 🔥
