So... this Nameless King is difficult because you could have 15 Estus Flasks at +10. And also under leveled. It's not necessarily a skill thing. Just more exploration and exp would buff up your character. Great job with the princes, you still won even out gunned. So, what about the DLC? :D

Perfect timing, because I'm going to play Dark Souls 3 very soon. I finished Bloodborne last month, it was my very first FromSoftware game and I loved it.
Props to you for beating Bloodborne first. Both Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne are designed for people who already played DS1 or Demons Souls, so they're not easy to start with
@@Gatchu137 Yea so, I started Dark Souls 3 and I can't really get into it but I'll try again soon. Bloodborne on the other hand, I kinda struggled with it in the beginning aswell but it grew on me, I enjoyed the aggressive fast paced gameplay more than the slower gameplay of DS3 (so far).
@@kostasspirou1010 The gameplay in DS3 is kinda however fast you want it to be. Your weapon options are limited at the start, but if you invest in something like dexterity, there are plenty of fast weapon options in the same vein as Bloodborne. Probably the biggest thing you should keep an eye on when switching from Bloodborne is your equipment weight. If you don't want your character to be slow and clunky, try to keep your equipment weight down or wear lighter armor, and your roll should be a similar speed to the Bloodborne side-step.
@@Gatchu137 Yea that's the plan, going for a fast character with light armor. High Wall of Lothric is a pain in the ass though, and I'm not used to the 3 estus flask system, it's like I have to to fight against waves of enemies with only 3 healing potions.
@@kostasspirou1010 It's especially brutal at the start, but you can find items called Estus shards that increase your maximum amount of flasks. I also hated the 3 flasks at the start, but there's one you can find somewhere in the High Wall of Lothric, another in the area immediately after, and one that's pretty well-hidden back in Firelink Shrine. You eventually can get up to 15 maximum, but between 5-10 it feels fine.
I beat nameless king for the first time about a week ago. And after the first couple of runs, my buddy, who was watching me play, goes "ay wear the calamity ring" (which makes you take double damage, that's it. That's literally all it does) And I said bet. It took me 3 fucking hours to beat that piece of shit. Then I went "I'm all in" and went and did all the dlc bosses with it on as well. Shits wild. Btw I feel your pain with the twin princes, they gave me the most trouble of all the story bosses, I spent a solid 4 to 6 hours of attempts on them. They beat my ass.
Holy shit, I remember starting the game in 2017 and watching some of your videos when searching for tips. I didn't finish the game at the time so i dropped it. Fast forward to this year, I actually decided to beat it once and for all, and while going through the game I decided to look up that guy who fucking choked on his estus flasks while fighting Pontiff Sulyvahn. the sellsword blades are giga strong tho, but u shouldnt use R1s for that, only L1s cuz it uses both swords so double the damage. for the complete combo however, its L1 + L2 + R2.
I missed afro ds content.
One small suggestion:
-never turn off the soul of cindet music. It is so hype.
And just so you know, Soul of cinder uses different "builds" and fighting styles that the players have had access to in all 3 of the games, like magic with crystal soul spears, pyromancies with curved swords and the famous ninja flips from ds1. It is a pretty nice boss.
Do the DLC as well you are going to love it.
he never finished ds1 so the music will not make sense to him.
Spear stance is easily his easiest phase magic is kinda of annoying with the damn truth seeker orbs on his back lol sword is difficult if your greedy and curved sword
My tech for curved sword is too just run away until he switches stances
@@bigred212 lmao you do exactly the same as me i think spear is easy i just wait till charge then dodge hit move repeat and for magic just gotta smack his ass up and get close that curved sword i dont even mess with tho
@@littylitz2340 Same I'm not real enough to mess with those backflips 😂
It was so nice to watch someone experience soul of cinder for the first time, great and have you done the dlc?
You just watched him beat the base game. Dlc comes after
Love when you play souls games
Best reactions
You’re a huge inspiration to me and my my gaming channel
The soundtrack of nier in the background is fire!!!
Never thought I'd see him play Ds3 again
Yo, the music, Nier, with that fight! I swear Afro be getting me hype! Great video.
I need to see him beat it... THEN ONTO THE DLC
I'm so happy that you manage to keep a promise. Thank you I'm free fromm my anger.
Afro the master of "I'm never gonna play this game again", "jk I'm back". Next video I'm expecting is Afro coming back next week saying he lvl'd everything in Endwalker to max and has cleared the current savage tier along with an ultimate.
So... this Nameless King is difficult because you could have 15 Estus Flasks at +10. And also under leveled. It's not necessarily a skill thing. Just more exploration and exp would buff up your character.
Great job with the princes, you still won even out gunned. So, what about the DLC? :D
Bro he ain’t getting past the DLC
It's the only game I have over 150 hours in. Objectively beyond God tier.
Do you play a lot of games or just play less? Cuz that's kinda low on gamer standards for most hours on a game or maybe we just haven't touched enough grass
@@arcyine i have nearly 300 hours in ds3. I don’t remember the feeling of grass.
I live for these. I can't wait to watch you struggle through that Elden. Gone finish that Demon Souls. You got time.
Bro! 1:27 - 1:42 had me dead! Go Afro, I'm a dragon now! 🤣
The Kabuki arc is strong!
That's literally all it does)
And I said bet.
Can't believe he came back to the game at almost the same time as me, right after I decided to rewatch some of his old videos.
I never played any of the dark souls game. I remember trying to play art one when it first came out and I couldn’t get into it so I stopped playing it. Weird thing is I have Elden Ring game and I love it. And I have been told Elden Ring is like Dark Souls. Weird 🧐 . Maybe back then the reason why I didn’t like it because it was a slow start maybe? 🤔 and it takes a while to get going. I may get dark souls 3. Because I know once I beat the Elden Ring I’m going to be mad. Lol because it’s over and it’s a really fun game. I wonder if they have a dark souls bundle with all of them in one.
2016 beginner Afro: new to the series, has a unique build with random armor, some shield and a sword that he only R1.
2022 Afro, got a booty call with a buddy, insta meta build with the winblades+Stamina shield. Has a 69.9% load build for insane tanking, all of a sudden he has 10’s of embers when he run out against Nameless back in the day. All is set for an EZ DLC run... sadly 2022 Afro still carries 2016 Afro skills and therefore will block attacks with his face most of the time.
But bro, I’ll take this any day of the week. The 2-3 Elden Ring videos we will get are going to be amazing before the next 6 month YT Break!
nier automata over ds3 osts... Uh... No disrespect to Nier Automata sound tracks but to me Atleast, they feel out of place in DS3 especially since DS3s sound tracks slap just as much.
Just platinum DS3 yesterday, such a great series that I can’t wait for Elden ring! Afro better beat the soul of cinder before next month!
Feels great getting a platinum in a souls game, currently working on DS2 then that's the trilogy for me
Platinumed all. Ds3 was by far, the hardest, then Sekiro.
Loved the Nier Automata you slipped in there
Literally just beat the nameless king for the first time an hour ago! I mean I didn’t need the homies help but it’s all good we all cross the bridge in our own ways
bro when he saw soul of cinder jump 😂😂 ah man great video i can relate to the pain the 5 hit combo is the worst mind you i was soul lvl 85 when i face him i had to bump 17 lvl to beat him ( sunlight straight sword(+5) deep protection lightning blade) 667ar
Bro I wanna see you reaction to Demon Slayer S2 episode 6. I apologize for only coming to this video to say that, but broooooo, that episode has the sauce.
Sister friede, slaeve knight gael and darketer midir exists :) (and they will piss you off)
EDIT: These bosses are even harder than the nameless king.
I come back after being gone for a while and I'm greeted with more Dark Souls 3 gameplay. Will we also get DLC and Bloodborne?
nameless king was definitely hardewr than lothric if you could beat him by yourself lorian and lothric are a cake walk
"YOOOO ITS GETTING MAD RACIST IN HERE" 🤣🤣 Bruh yo shit got me dead asl 🤣
Beat soul of cinder then the dlc or nobody watching your elden ring video!
Also nice Nier music 🎶
Bro I always play Nier around the same time I play dark souls. And you somehow manage to merge the two lol
I love how you put the “beautiful song” from NieR when u fought soul of cinder. Beautiful😭
I died to twins like 5 times and all of them on that one shot Magic sword or due to low health after that magic.
What makes me so mad is that he always loses thousands of souls. The worst part is he is most likely under leveled for endgame.
6:00 the background music he’s playing is from Nier Replicant 👏🏾 love to hear it
if you overfarm a bit in DS3 every boss fight is much easier compared to ER
Nier music with dark souls 3 played perfectly? You sir have my respect.
Dark Souls with Nier:Automata songs, now that's a crossover👏👏👏
He prolly could have beat this boss so much faster if he used the weapon the right way
I just bought this game, its 75% Off. I'm up for some huge masochistic action.
