My cousin and I still play Power Stone 2 and Project Justice couch co op on my Sega Dreamcast!! Now, these and other classics are coming to ps4, switch and steam. We can finally play this online!! Lets go!! Thanks Capcom for making this happen!!
Fun fact: that franchise is named Star Gladiator, the Japanese Star Wars that was originally pitched as a game published by LucasArts, but had a change in plans. So, for the sequel, it should be titled: Star Gladiator - Episode 2: Nightmare of Bilstein. So yeah, it should get the recognition and have them consider making Episode 3 one day.
In the UK Plasma Sword was the sequel to Star Gladiator. I owned both Star Gladiator on PS1 and Plasma Sword on Dreamcast. Haven’t played neither for over 20 years so this collection is a definite purchase for me. Here’s hoping they add platinum trophy support on PS4/PS5.
When they announced the Marvel vs. Capcom one they said many of the tools they used to put together the collections aren't ported to the Xbox platforms, and it seems they don't see it as worth it to do it. Personally, I think modern Xbox consoles are the worst place to get "old games". People get this collections because usually they want to play again the games they played when they were young but got lost or their consoles broke, and now that they have the money to get them again they want to preserve them. Xbox is the most aggressive platforms against game preservation. Even their physical discs are just licenses to play the games, not games, that will expire sooner or later. They not longer sell full games since the Xbox One. The PlayStations and the Switch are still less restricted on those regards, and depending on your country, you may be legally allowed to digitally back up your games for personal use. That's not possible on Xbox unfortunately. Xbox is good for playing easily and cheap what's new and popular, but if you prefer conservation and you want to legally be able to keep playing your games many years in the future, you may consider getting a second console.
Man WHAT??? Is this real life or just a dream or something, please don’t tell me I’m dreaming right now, lol. CvS2, Project Justice, (finally) an online playable version of Alpha 3 Upper, and Power Stone 1 and 2 make this a must buy for me! If that happens I’d be willing to say we’re in the greatest era of all time for fighting games, and I say that as someone who grew up in the 90’s.
Street Fighter The Movie The Game (Arcade and Console version) re release when? Sawada and Blade have to return! COUNTER! REVERSAL!! SLAM MASTEEERRRR!!!
We're getting official ports, with rollback, of both MvC2 and CvS2! So sick. Alpha 3 is also a nice addition. Never even heard of the other games, but all of them are ones I've NEVER gotten to play before, so I absolutely plan on grabbing ALL these modern collections that come out. CVS2 and Alpha 3 are old fighters I've always wanted to play but playing against people on fightcade as a beginner is a bit intimidating, but with a ranking system on an official port, I can progressively get better while fighting opponents of relatively equal skill.. plus the proper training mode is also a bonus so yeah I'm hyped!
😮I love CvS2 so much, and Alpha 3 was my favourite mainline SF before SF6. I am SO HYPED to have them in one collection. And I only played Power Stone a handful of times but I remember it being super fun as well. This is awesome
After that, nintendo directs, and this year, nintendo wins. No Sony or microsoft can't top what we received. This is the one 1% era and now a new golden era to remember the old one.
Good direct and I can't speak for Microsoft but it's not like Sony isn't getting either collection. Portability is nice and all but that's where most people will buy it due to the tournament scene. PC as well.

I'm gonna get this collection as soon as possible. As should every fighting game enthusiast in the world.
😂you clearly missed arcades in the 90's
I get you're hyped and I think it looks cool too, but dude chill out lol. It's a collection of games, not Citizen Kane.
My cousin and I still play Power Stone 2 and Project Justice couch co op on my Sega Dreamcast!! Now, these and other classics are coming to ps4, switch and steam. We can finally play this online!! Lets go!! Thanks Capcom for making this happen!!
Power Stone is back, baby!!! New adventures awaits! 💎✨✨✨
HOLY SMOKES even more forgotten games of the past slapped together with an art gallery, genius move Capcom!
This is amazing all my favorite Capcom games are here in one collection and Fighting Evolution is here too.
damn Plasama Sword too? Wasn't expecting that. Sweet!
I'M FUCKING SCREAMING, THANK YOU FOR FINALLY REMEMBERING PROJECT JUSTICE AND POWER STONE JESUS CHRIST ;_;
Power stone, project justice and plasma sword? Let's gooooo
I finally get to play Project Justice and Plasma Sword without having to buy a Dreamcast. Only took 20 years or so
CvS 1, 2, and Project Justice already made this a must-have. But Plasma Sword is what really shocked me.
WHAT???
CVS2 COMEBACK???
I really hope Plasma Sword finally gets the recognition it deserves.
@@mazkeraid4039 it was called that in japan. The series is pretty cool. And in a way, Plasma Power is kind of like the Force.
We need Episode 0, the story of Hayato's father and origins of Edward Bilstein!!!
You have Millions of (XBOX ONE) and (XBOX SERIES X/S) owners that would gladly pay for this great Fighting Collection as well...👏🧐💯🥂
No, xlosers only pay Game pass
@@robone9978 Id pay for this and gamepass
Millions, I doubt it, hopefully they release it for you guys too though.
We'll see now, won't we? 😏
I never imagined that I would be able to play Power Stone on my fucking Switch. Fuck this is amazing. Thank You Capcom.
YOU GUYS ARE KILLING IT SO HARD LETS GOOOOOO!
Awesome collection! Wish they included Tech Romancer 😢
Okay we're back.. i knew it they'd eventually annouce capcom vs snk and capcom vs snk 2 at one point!
Man WHAT??? Is this real life or just a dream or something, please don’t tell me I’m dreaming right now, lol. CvS2, Project Justice, (finally) an online playable version of Alpha 3 Upper, and Power Stone 1 and 2 make this a must buy for me! The only dud in the whole collection is Capcom Fighting Evolution, and i can easily look past its inclusion because of all of the other amazing games. Man what a time to be a fighting game fan!! The only thing missing now is the announcement of a CvS3 and an MvC4.
@@meganinten0078 Oh god….they’d have to put those in their own special “Capcom Jank Collection” lol.
"This is true love we're making! All the tiiiiime!"
Bless your heart
I can play as Maki in 2025…it’s good to be alive!!!!!!
Thank you Capcom for this collection!!! Please don’t forget about Tech Romancer.
PC as well.
@@mf_dva hey at least people will be getting the collection on Playstation. Xbox people won't. People would have to wait for the physical release of they want to get it that way
This is the tournament for the new millenia, you'll experience the most exciting battles in history.
Where my A-Groove players at?
Herr yeah! Finally CVS 2!!! I gotta have it. Im already getting MVC 2 for sure
My only gripe is the lack of tech romance but the selection is already stacked
I think that is a license so it makes sense why it's not. Maybe later on down the line with Jojo and Tatsunoko vs Capcom?
Yeah, i was surprise by no tech romancer. But im very happy with what we've got in this bundle.
@@Hraesvlgr afaik tech romancer isnt licensed is just like a big mecha reference but it isnt based in any previous media
That's exactly what I said. Take Fighting Jam out and put Tech Romancer in, since this is such a Dreamcast-heavy collection anyway!!
@@frozenray0079 _Fighting Jam_ feels so random and like it could and should be almost anything else out of things that don't have license issues, but maybe they just wanted to dump a game basically no one wants into an otherwise stacked collection.
Fucking inCREDIBLE I cannot believe the era of fighting games we live in right now
I will buy this collection just for the Power Stone collection and Project Justice, that's solid gold for me.
What a time to be alive man
RIP to everyone that passed that couldn't witness this announcement.
Can I just simply say it feels good to be a Capcom fan right now. This feels right 😌
Now if only Mortal Kombat, Tekken and Soul Calibur would follow Capcom's example when it comes to re-releases.
Capcom just can't be stopped. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if we actually get a Viewtiful Joe collection or Killer 7 remaster with how deep they're diving in the fan favorites.
Viewtiful Joe collection is a day 1 purchase for me
OMFG, THEY DID IT!!!!!
LET’S GOOOOOOO I CAN’T BELIEVE WE’RE GETTING PROJECT JUSTICE ON MODERN CONSOLES
0:12 I'm sorry but no Ryu and Ken artwork has ever been better than this
Kinu Nishimura stays winning 🗣️🗣️
No lies told
@@possibly8180 my top 5 favorite VG Artist.
And i'm sorry too, there's no Art of Fighting (KOF) Artwork like the original one, not even the Newest Styles....
CLASSICS ARE CLASSY 😎
But Ken is posing like a girl
Can't wait to see Max's reaction LOL
The collection is worth buying for Power Stone 1 and 2 alone, but I'll take Project Justice, CVS2 and SFA3 too.
Maximilian's probably hollering right about now.
\*insert high pitched Maximilian noises*
Woah woah woah… is this what I think it is!!! Hell Yeahh. We back baby!!!!!!😮😮😮😮😮😮
Hey guys, let's go! Yes, CVS2 is open to the general public!
