If you get hit in the face by Hulk you can imagine it sending you flying into a wall like you were a tennis ball. If get hit by cammy you would not be allowed to counter hit because of tiny size and speed and combos. The sprites are based on 1990's Jim Lee era of x-men so recognisable to cartoon watchers. Capcom had no competition in this time. Konami could have potentially challenged them with DC Super Heroes but they seem to only care about Ninja Turtles and GI Joe lol. I often wonder what a DC vs Marvel vs Capcom game would be like if Capcom had both licenses. Then add SNK characters.
It's probably the best depiction of Wolverine. Not only did they keep the Jim Lee design, his claws bouncing around like loose knives is eerily inspired realism.
I was FURIOUS when Marvel Vs Capcom 2 was lost to me when I transferred from Xbox360 to PS4. I hope to have all the games on my PS5 now. Marvel Vs. Capcom 4 will undo the sins of Infinite. *Important: by sins, I mean the mistakes Infinite made that could have made it truly “Infinite”. It’s not a bad game, as some say, it’s just a bad entry for the genre. 3 was a masterpiece visually and mechanically, so much so they refined it for years of competition. Infinite was on life support before launch. Sorry. I’m 32. I remember the comments. I want the genre to continue. I want more SNK and Darkstalkers and Power Stone and Smash Brothers. It’s my hope that Capcom sees the underdog value of their catalogue pass Street Fighter and Mega Man.
Infinite wasn’t that bad.. I do like playing;g infinite time to time since it has smoothest game play out of all MvC and fact that I got that game for $11 helps a lot more
@@AkagiRedSun infinites gameplay was actually pretty good apart from some of the weird power stone stuff. It has a good foundation but the roster and character models/graphics left a lot to be desired. It ended up feeling like a shell of the former games. TBF to MvCI, it was apparently made on a shoestring budget and you can tell, based on the roster ,that Marvel/Disney wanted to push their MCU characters than the beloved characters from past iterations.
According to the Marvel website, it’s getting a physical edition for the Switch and PS4, and it’ll cost $49.99. I’m so friggin psyched that so many people thought this was the best part of the Direct. I’ve been wanting a collection like this for years, this is awesome.
X men vs street fighter , Marvel vs street fighter, Marvel vs capcom 1 and 2 marked my childhood in the arcades like a heck of a nostalgia ride. I'm so thankful and excited! to play them again on my console. Thank you Marvel & Capcom!

The latter is actually the arcade I’ve played the most in my whole life outside the movies in a shopping Centre I always go to for 16 years until 2013 & I played all the time, any time was at the shopping Centre or went to see a movie lol 🤣😂 so many coins given to that machine hahaha

Too bad after the year passed they closed down the local due consoles took over. I spend so much money in coins and it's one of the best times I've ever get to experience. The Playstation exclusives continue. At the moment there is no need to just have an Xbox. You can get a PS4 for the cost of or less than two new current Gen games.
If you really like fighting games, you just can’t have only an Xbox. Most fighting games come from Japan. And Japan will always favorite their systems (ps and Nintendo). So you should own at least a ps. Not saying there’s anything wrong with owning an Xbox (I have a series x). But if you really like fighting games, and only have an Xbox, then it is 100% your fault you’re missing out on other fighting games.
One of the best features from these classics were specific character background music. I had a blast fighting against guys like Captain America, Wolverine and Ryu just because of their music theme in Marvel VS Capcom. So glad to see these games returning.

I literally watched the trailer for Marvel vs Capcom Origins from 2012 last night. I was feeling really bummed out that I never got a chance to play those games back then. And now the first thing I see when I get on UA-cam today is this! I am so excited 🥳

Used to play Marvel vs Capcom Clash of superheroes in an old tuckshop near my dad's house and see it here man bought memories. I'm definitely buying this physically for ps4 and Nintendo switch, i can't wait

The Playstation exclusives continue. At the moment there is no need to just have an Xbox. You can get a PS4 for the cost of or less than two new current Gen games.

If you really like fighting games, you just can’t have only an Xbox. Most fighting games come from Japan. And Japan will always favorite their systems (ps and Nintendo). So you should own at least a ps. Not saying there’s anything wrong with owning an Xbox (I have a series x). But if you really like fighting games, and only have an Xbox, then it is 100% your fault you’re missing out on other fighting games.

One of the best features from these classics were specific character background music. I had a blast fighting against guys like Captain America, Wolverine and Ryu just because of their music theme in Marvel VS Capcom. So glad to see these games returning.
