I've only been following vlogbrothers for about a year and a half or so, but in that time, a significant portion of my free time has been spent trying to get caught up with much of the old content, but somehow I only just viewed this video today. This is a wonderful representation of a bit of what makes them awesome. It was interaction with their fan base, considerate, and genuine. Thank you, John and Hank, for being so awesome in general, and generally great guys :-)
Sorry for the stupid question, I haven't seen many videos on this channel, but what exactly is a Nerdfighter? I can of course guess what it is, but what is the difference between a nerdfighter an a 'normal' nerd?
A nerdfighter is a member of nerdfightaria, which is the kind of community that Hank and John have created. It's basically what you call yourself if you're a fan of Hank and John and/or their work.
People who instead of being made up of cells and organs and stuff are actually made out of awesome.
