The reason why you can get deactivated for claiming only promos is that the members are already upset enough because their orders were pushed who knows for how long. Most of the time they’ll low rate you because they are upset and they don’t care if you had a unicorn order for them. You won’t get penalized for being late with promo orders but of course don’t deliver them 4 hours later.
You’ll get a refresher course if your on-time score drops under 90% and your member score 4.7 or below. You get that refresher course only once. If you claim only promos your score can easily drop below 4.7 that’s why I have a special intro text for promo orders. Never let the member know that their order was promo but let them know it was offered to you just now and you’ll delivery it as soon as you can.
This seems much more logical! That's good to know. I would imagine it would help if you communicated well with the customer. Do you mind sharing your special text? Do you send it before you start shopping? Thanks!
@@StephOnThePedal sure, this into text helped me a lot with Promo orders. However, some members will low rate you no matter what you do, but I'm sure you already know that from Instacart.
Here's the intro text I use before starting to shop for Promos:
Hi ... this is your Shipt shopper xy. I noticed that your area is extra busy, so I jumped in to help out. That means I may be a little bit late delivering your order, but I'll get it to you ASAP. If that's not acceptable, please let me know and I will contact Shipt HQ to find you a better solution. Thank you for using Shipt!

I like doing doubles and triples at Target especially, since I can do both regular and prepaids at the same time, and just bag everything myself by using self-checkout. A good amount of Target orders include things like home items, baby stuff, or (especially right now) school supplies- so it’s not food I need to worry about keeping cold or hot! If two or more orders have frozen items, it makes me a little nervous to take right now when it’s 100+ degrees outside!
Less food to keep at temperature is a definite plus!

So on the comment about the Instacart shopper being deactivated by giving receipts back to the customer it's true. the reason behind it At least in my area what was happening I'm in I Southern California. The customers was getting the receipt returning all the items to the store getting cash back. Then turning around telling Instacart that they never received their order. Then Instacart was either sending out a whole new order or was refunding them the order amount. It was a huge big deal even local media got involved was all over local news. That is when that policy went system wide. That's when Instacart crack down on it and found out what was happening it was crazy and in the beginning they were like deactivating people like there was no tomorrow. People were like dropping like flies because they were used to giving the receipts.

Actually no you can get deactivated for giving the customer the receipt
Just signed up just for the hell of it and it seems cool so I’ll give it a shot watched a lot of positive and (negative ) videos but still give it a go thanks for the videos!!

Like Instacart, making money on Shipt will be extremely difficult.

I make money way easier with shipt than instacart. I've tried instacart in my area and i dont make as much and have had negative experiences. I use shipt as a ain gig and will fill in with instacart as needed
