  • I give you the rundown on how much money I made flipping furniture during my first week. I talk about how I found the furniture to flip and how much I sold each item for. The profit is so good! This is a great side hustle and a really easy way to make some extra money!

    Brown crayons work great! At least on my new wood bed frame that had a scuff.

    I am been doing this for years I love the diy part of it. I always change hardware or chalk paint some items. I am using better products to get a higher profit and a betterfinish. I love to do dressers. Love your style

      That’s awesome! I just spent 15 ish hours and a solid $100 refinishing a dresser for myself. I can’t imagine selling that for enough to make it work my time. I’m sure it’s possible but I’d much prefer a quick flip.

    I have seen a carpenter say that if you have a scratch on solid wood furniture rub a walnut over the scratch and it will cover it up .

    Go to estate sales on the last day of the sale to buy furniture and other things very cheap. On the last day of the sale they always lower the price to quickly sell things. I went to an estate sale and found 3 piece mahogany furniture from the 1900s for about $ 400 .Ive been to several estate sales and have found very old furniture and things very cheap.

    • @StephOnThePedal
      @StephOnThePedal  3 роки тому

      I’ve been looking for them! I haven’t found any yet.

      There are small businesses that actually hold estate sales for people who dont want to do all the work themselves of pricing , sorting through things , moving, appraising , advertising , setting up cashiers etc. for an estate sale. These businesses take a percentage of the sales as payment. Many people do this instead of running the estate sale themselves. If you find these estate sale businesses they usually have a website that will post when they are holding estate sales in the area and you can put your email address in the website and they will email you when they have sale. Do a search on google for estate sale businesses. You can also just search on craigs list or local online forums for estate sales.
