I just starting deliveries for Shipt. I am thinking of putting in a grocery order too
If you shop for Shipt you get a free membership and therefore free delivery FYI
I'm a Shipt shopper and been doing it for 3 months. When an item is not available and the customer chooses don't substitute from my experience that doesn't mean anything. Why? Because when that happens I still have to let the customer know that the item isn't available and indicate that one is telling me don't substitute and say I will be removing the item from their order. When that happens the customer will tell me to get them the store brand or another brand. So that's my experience as a Shipt shopper.

I only did this for a video. I also have a video where I shopped through Instacart. I honestly wouldn’t use either service because it’s a lot more expensive.

What options does the customer have for payment options, when paying 4 groceries? Does the customer have 2 use their debit card on the shipt app, or does a direct fr checking acct option exist?
After you’ve been hired with shipt they send you a shipt credit card. Shipt loads the card for a set amount depending on each order. When checking out the shopper uses the shipt card that was provided

Did my first Shipt order today. Elderly but active. Bad weather,, why not try it. Easy to shop. I normally use Target a lot, so that’s helpful. My initial order was $ 37, reduced by a $ 20 promo code. Took the annual membership. Tipped $ 7.
Issues. I just upgraded my Amex to Gold, which gives 4x on groceries, but apparently not on Shipt orders. That means my big orders will be in person, not by Shipt. Will use it for convenience.
Expiration dates. Two packages of Applegate Ham have a sell by date in two days. In fairness to the shopper, the dates on those packages are easy to miss.
The good. Ordering from Target, Shipt prices are the same as Target web prices.
On tipping.
I tip 20% on infrequent Uber Eats orders. I also tip 20% when I order and pick up directly at restaurants.
I read a good comment.
Shipt shoppers, who have to shop and deliver, should get better tips than Uber Eats or Door Dash diners, who pick the order up and drop it off.

I never stopped. I was just collecting partial unemployment. I’m also able to earn from my photography again, so things have changed for me.
Shoppers on both Shipt and Instacart should have to place at least one order before they start so the can see their customers experience.

If you pay for a shipt membership you get free delivery with orders of $35+ . If it’s less than $35 you pay a set $7 delivery fee. Memberships are like $99 a year
You need to contact support. Shipt Shoppers get a free Shipt membership so you don’t pay for delivery on orders of $35+.
