How are you getting a reading on your multimeter? It appears that you have it set on 200ohm without the sensor being plugged into anything. I am trying to produce a reading using the magnet trick youve explained but i cannot get anything to display....sensor is brand new btw
So I deleted mine too after my 3rd 2 stroke Oil over fill tank still produced an alarm. But I did it a little different, same outcome. I unplugged the sensor and put a piece of wire closing the circuit on the engine side of the sensor plug, tricking the engine computer into reading the closed circuit. Taped over the end and all good so I can run the boat for now. Not a long term fix but I will get to the bottom of the issue .
It’s not oil pressure it’s oil level and it’s for the oil injection system which many choose to bypass and premix the fuel rather than trusting the oil injection pump which could fail.
Wow thank you so much I’ve been trying to fix this on my port motor for 2 months
Your are brilliant sir, simplicity is when you don’t over think it. If you ever decide to visit the States your welcome at my house in Louisiana!

Did exactly same thing but still getting 4 beeps
Thanks technically this should work because you are showing the sensor that it has oil with the magnet tape at a acceptable level!
Is this fix still working good for you?
Yes since the video they still run like that. I just check the oil every trip
Is the sensor easy to access to remove?
How did you seal the reserve oil tank after removing the sensor?
Yes, you just need to lift your 2stroke tank to get it out, its on the bottom of the tank

You dont need to seal it, it's already a sealed unit
Use another sensor and leave your old one in the tank!😊
What a stupid idea, I do not intend to cease my enjin due to low oil pressure.
