Little late to the party- but it’s not really “newer” than elite, but it’s much more sensitive and smoother than elite, I find the LOWER stretch to be extremely useful as a middle ground between high performance mono and low stretch superlines

I spooled Sufix Advance on a spinning reel. It unraveled on me. Any idea why?

Jeff Smith u put too much on ur spool. Or too loose.

The line runs very thick. Choose your line based on poster diameter and not the labeled breaking strength
Word has it that the 8 pound has a diameter similar to a 12 pound mono
