Thanks as ever for an interesting video. Does issue number 1 mean we shouldn't use cleansing balms and oils on our face in a double cleanse? Or was that meant for leave on oils and thick moisturizers
Really helpful as always. Love your videos. I have learnt so much over the last couple of years and am no longer searching for the answer to rosacea. Like others have said here.. your products have improved my skin so much. I am delighted. The face mask is just excellent. Thank you ❤️
Thank you Dr Sam , I have been following your advice and and I am so grateful my skin is finally improving. 🙌 Btw Your products!! they are AMAZING ❤️ your face moisturizer , your cleanser, the brigthly serum, the body therapy and omg the face mask is my new bestfriend !!
I find SA 2% too irritating for me. But I can tolerate Lactic Acid OK - is this an effective sub for SA? And what about an SA cleanser, which I also am able to tolerate?
I have been using benzoyl peroxide gel for 8 months ...from Last two days I'm not using it...and today I notice red inflammation over my face ... please give your suggestions
Colloidal oat skincare products have been my latest obsession. Dr. Sam I love your videos and would love to know your opinions on use of colloidal oatmeal as an active ingredient
Thank you for this video Dr. Sam. Do you think could do a video about shea butter, is it a non-comedogenic ingredient en moisturizers for a sebaceous filaments on nose could use? thanks.
Contact Dr.Anii on UA-cam he got the best cure for Rosacea virus sharing my testimony with tears of joy my God will Continue to bless you keep saving life Sir
hello doc ! I have been reading that cetaryl alcohol can be comodogenic and it is present in the cerave moistrusiers and cetaphil cleansers. I am really struggling to find any affordable moisturizers because I don't know if they are really non comedogenic. can you tackle this. I trust your informations
Apparently non-comedogenic products don’t really exist because different ingredients break out different people. Could you just try one and then give it away if it doesn’t work for you?
Thank you for another great video! 🙌🏻 What routine would you reccomend for someone using BR P50 and Medik8 crystal retinal 1? I’m trying to find the right balance between these two in order to not overexfoliate and destroy my skin 😅
Thank You, I am finding your videos are really helpful. When you talk about Salicylic acid, do you recommend a salicylic acid chemical peels? I recently done a morpheus8, 3weeks ago, I started getting breakouts, one of them seemed to be persistent.... I do feel my skin feels clean but no other significant changing otherwise. Thought I can try salicylic acid chemical peels? Also, I started using tinted moisturiser, do I need makeup remover when it comes to clean my face at night?
Thanks Dr. Sam. I have a question about CO2 Laser and Differin gel. Lots of skin clinics claim it can help the appearance of pores. Should I stop Differin before getting one?
If you wear sunscreen , which you definitely should, you should also use the double cleansing method for your night time routine. The only thing to be aware of, is that the oils in the cleansing oil/balm should be low in oleic acid and high in linoleic acid (this is the case of you have oily, acne prone skin?) and the oil/balm should be non-comedogenic :) Also facial oils can be really helpful for oily, acne prone skin, given they are high in linoleic acid.

Some say you should continue using bc it takes time to give results. And in some cases, retin A may not be suitable for everyone. You can try using a gentler retin A OR you can trying using natural Retin A's (rose hip, bakochoui (don't know how to spell). For now, try to use a salyclic acid cleanser and do use a moisturizer, otherwise skin produces more oil! You can also try niacinamide serum! 💜
Do you think La Roche Posay Toleriane Night or LRP Double Repair (I checked that it has comadogenic ingredients but I am not sure if this website Inci is truthfull) should be good for a combination mature skin with some sebaceous filaments? thanks.
Salicylic Acid has really helped the sebaceous filaments on my nose. But I need to use it like every day to keep them away. If I would use it just twice a week, as many suggest, they would come right back. Btw, I got a Pore Strip ad for this video 🙈
@@galato4234 I use the BHA Serum from Inkey List. I always use it at night. I started using it just on a patch of skin like the jaw to test reaction. Then I used once a week, and worked my way up to every other day. I only use daily on my nose where I have more blackheads/sebaceous filaments. This is the only potentially irritating product on my routine. All the cleaners and moisturizers are very gentle.
I have a serum (very watery) with heart leaf and 2% salicylic acid - you mention usage twice a day being acceptable; won’t that hurt the skin’s barrier? Yes. Throw away the magnifying mirror. Stray away from the mirror - don’t get too close.
You're one of my favourite derms on youtube.
Came for the topic stayed for the cat 😆
Haha great reason 😊
Haha, me too
Same 😆😆
Thank you for this video, Dr. Sam!
Do cleansing oils cause clogged pores as well or only the leave on oils?
❤️
I am just amazed at your skin which speaks louder than words. I just bought Azelaic acid after watching one of your videos!
I have annoying whiteheads and sebaceous filaments even though my skin type is not that oily.
Thanks as ever for an interesting video. Does issue number 1 mean we shouldn't use cleansing balms and oils on our face in a double cleanse? Or was that meant for leave on oils and thick moisturizers
Hi, if I understood correctly, I think Dr Sam was referring to the leave on balms and oils.

Could you possibly show as the products that we should use

Just what i needed, thankyou doc!
Amazing! Glad it was helpful!❤️
Love this helpful video and especially Hector and Ginger 😍😍😍
Glad you enjoyed it!❤
is cleasing balm not advisable for oily acne prone skin? i use it in removing my sunscreen:)

Can Isotretinoin be used like 10 mg twice a day to reduce oiliness long term?

Doctor, does this mean u don’t recommend double cleansing with oils ??
Hi doc! Watching all the way from the Philippines!!
Hi! Thanks for watching ❤️
Ma'am plz recommend some vitamin c serum except skinceutical
I feel like retin-A is making my pores worse and my skin more oily. Is that normal? I’ve been on it for ~2 months

Does having years of clogged pores lead to permanent stretching of the pore?
Thank you for the very informative video! Can microneedling help with clogged pores too?
Can u.suggest te.products
Hi i do laser genesis and that helps pores.
Thank you doctor 😍😍😍😍
What about benzoyl peroxide?
All facial oils are bad?

Hi Auricia, could you share how you use salicylic acid in your routine. I tried to use it in the morning but is irritant to me. Thanks for your help.
@@galato4234what product are you using? you could use it in a cleanser, as it is wash off it will be less irritating.

LOVE the kitty 🐱
Hi 👋🏼 greetings from Los Angeles ☀️☀️
Hi! Thanks for watching 😊
Niacinamide burns my skin! I don't know what to do to make it useable for me :(
Use lesser %
Start with 4-5% niacinamide
Colloated oatmeal helped me with the burn of it!! Also moisturizing :))
Don’t use products with more than 5% niacinamide :)
You are great! Thank you
Great information. Your eyes look so bright and lifted.
Thanks 🌸🤍🎀
The mirror one hahaha. I would add 'and stay 1.5m away from the normal mirror'
beautiful just beautiful
I have to watch all your videos. I'm somewhere in the middle.
Love the cat!!!
Easy. Use Tretinoin and some moisturizer.
Jay Z,
Do you mean that works for visible pores?
Hii ma'am thanks
I have enlarged pores on my inner cheek and sebaceous filaments on my nose.. Can I use DIY Apple cider vinegar Toner?? Please help
She said what good products help in this video, don’t use vinegar on your face
@@JasminMiettunen thank you
I'm in health care, wearing mask all day. If I can't wear long lasting base makeup (Revlon oil free) what can I wear?
Just use spot concealers and cream blush. Don’t use foundation
He is cute 🤩
You look lovely, but somebody is stealing the show right behind your back. 😘
