Thank you for your great question Bill. This does depend on some different factors. Bowing the wrist is typically suited to golfers with neutral to weak grips. If a player with a strong grip bows the lead wrist, then the clubface will be very closed! (Dustin Johnson) Possible but difficult for most to control. Also, the amount of forward shaft lean varies for most elite golfers. Short irons = More forward lean. Longer clubs = Less lean. Hope this helps. Cheers Glen
