Can't take my eyes off the lovely Barnabus - Lol. Anyway Stuart, as an avid practiser, I have often wondered what the best golf drill would be to practice if say you only have about 5-10 minutes to warm-up in the nets of practice ground before teeing off?
He’s an absolute poppet isn’t he. Get your 56° wedge and work up to hitting 85 percent power and back down again. Will give you all you need before the 1st !
I found this sort of routine by watching the pros on the range at tournaments. It certainly works for me. I also end the routine with a couple of shots I'd need in the first few holes. As someone who tends to miss a lot of greens, being honed in on pitching is important. Barney was definitely the star of the show
Hi Stu, I watched this last night and went to play today. I followed this routine religiously before I went out and shot my best round for two years a 68 gross
Thank you for this .. I’m making the change to your set-release swing .. I can really ‘feel the force’ .. winter project is to take this to the course and really learn to swing!
Hi Stuart I've been watching your videos for a while now, and find them very enlightening. My problem is I've been playing more than 50 years and have very ingrained 'old school' habits (leg drive, lots of lateral). I've been as low as 5, but now off 12. What I'd love to see would be a playlist dedicated to the right way to rebuild a swing following your principles - i.e. "where to start, then next steps". I'm sure most of the content is already in individual videos, but put together into a step by step process would be extremely useful; for example just jumping in at 'pull the club' probably isn't the right place to start! Hope it's an idea you like...
Hi there - thank you so much for your idea. I absolutely agree, this as I’m sure you can appreciate would take some time to do, and it’s potentially a subscription model. When I can dedicate more time to UA-cam I will endeavour to put into action your suggestion in some way for sure. Thank you for being here and hope your golf continues to improve. Best wishes Stu.
Getting my content out there and showing people what’s possible has been important, as the channel evolves I have so many ideas. Will definitely action your request though, as soon as I can. Thank you so much!
I watch your videos and have learned a lot from them. My swing has improved from your lessons. Thank you very much! I notice in your practice swing ( and you talk about it in videos ) you move into your left side, almost like a reverse pivot. In your swing though, I don"t see that?
Sadly we can’t “see” force being applied. Unless we see it, we don’t believe it to be true, which is why the coaching world and golfers are in a bit of pickle, in my opinion. 😊
The “ not flipping” is gold. I find that releasing the wrist is the hardest due to 2 decades of instruction being told not to flip the club. How should I retrain to “flip” the club?
.......now that was a nice little warm up before watching the final round of The Open. Love your attitude on the range Stu. Great advice. If that was just Barney's warm up for digging holes, I can imagine what he can do when he puts his mind to it! Have you ever played Troon Stu?....... enjoy ⛳🍺
He had stopped digging until I decided to take him to a golf course!! 😂😂😂Never played Troon, I coached and caddied in 2004. Know it well. Spectacular golf course, really enjoyed watching this week. Who’s your winner?
@@GoodGolfCoaching hmmm...... I think I'm going to go with Scottie. Man, I can't imagine playing in some of those conditions over there. I think we're too spoiled over here in the states......that is a different breed of golf over there.
It’s a good bet; I just think a European is due; Rahm off to a flier but as good a start, feel like he’s too far back. I’m going with Justin Rose, I think it’s his time. You have to get over, and if you do, I’ll make up your fourball my man.
Dear Sir, You have wasted your video time almost 50%. We are not interested to see how good you are. You are supposed to tell us what we the beginners have to do in backswing, down swing and follow through.

Haha Barney is definitely the star of the show, always. Thanks Doug 😊

Mark this is seriously impressive, well done you Sir! Keep that up, next stop, PGA Tour!
Excellent philosophy on letting go of outcome and focus on what you want your body to do.
Thanks Paul, really appreciate it

Out of all of your videos I've watched this is my favorite.
Thank you so much!! May I ask what you liked about it so much?
Hey Stu I love the way that the club grip is working under your mass. 👍
Thanks John 👍
Thanks Stu and barnabus for a relaxing and informative Sunday morning 👍
Ahhh thanks Paul - Barney will be happy 😊 🐶

Barnabas expands the circumference of his multiple divots as you expand yours. True love.
True love is the truth!
thank you Stuart. can you do a video on with please?
I meant witb
Width? No problem….
Barney must've found an old Slazenger. Lol
Hahaha that’s hilarious, was a Tour Edition. 😂

Have you seen my broom series; weight is your friend my man. Get heavy. 😊

Just tried to clean my computer screen and realised it's your drone 🤣
Hahaha too much zoom. Lesson learnt! 😂
Great to know I wasn’t the only one.
😂😂😂
Great stuff stu. Will be replicating your warm up practice in future. Thanks as always
My pleasure and thanks for watching! Hope it helps and appreciate the very kind feedback. Best wishes Stu 😊
Incredible (Not credible; surpassing belief;) 'How to Dig Holes' Dumbfounding !
Could you show us how to tie a Golf Shoe next ?
He can tie shoes and boil an egg. #talentedMrBarney

I have over 500 videos, I am sure you will find what you are looking for. This video isn’t for beginners. Best wishes Stu
Barney is a bit of a digger, needs to work on shallowing his AOA… good to see you outside
Haha way too steep Andy 😂😂
