Just took this to the range. Wow, just wow. Your explanation of how to keep hands inside club was spot on. Always knew I had to do it but never knew the How. Thank you.
GREAT video. I’ve been working on this problem for so long. You can’t do anything else, if you don’t get this correct. You make it so simple! Thank you, thank you!
Great video, thank's a lot! Maybe an (amateur's) question: Doesn't the wrist hinge pose a risk of opening up the club face too far in the back swing? Many thanks in advance!
Love you’re content and way you deliver it ! Definitely a soothing and relaxing vibe. I’m currently struggling with this issue according to my mate who’s off 7 ! He says I also block myself out with alignment to right, I only hit draws ! He said once you understand this you will feel so much room and space
Today I tried your drill at the range with amazing results! My big miss is a big push but I hope it is permanently eliminated using your advise. Thanks and Merry Christmas from the USA!!
Hi Gary, practice making slower takeaways where the arms move back at the same time as the body. In other words everything moves in one piece together. Let me know how that goes. Thanks
if you keep that right armpit sealed up (glove in armpit drill) its not an issue. the problem you described with the over the top downswing is not because of an inside takeaway. it's because on your downswing the right armpit is opening up.
Yes, in the downswing that's true. But, for many golfers I see the problem starts at the takeaway fanning the club open forcing them to subconsciously coming down steep to allow for the open clubface to hit the golf ball straight.
Hello I've started using your example of lifting the club slightly to get some wrist cock. This has definitely improved my take away and ball striking. What about using this method for fair way woods and the driver? Thanks
Would you say players such as John Daly and Raymond Floyd are exceptions to this rule or were they great players in spite of their suboptimal inside takeaways?
Yes 100% Michael. Some good players got away with their inside takeaways. But, for most amateurs they would improve a lot more by not taking it inside so much. Cheers

Yes, you can do the same with those clubs

No
Hi Mark, was it 'no' you didn't understand something in the video. Or, you don't think taking it inside is bad or something else? Cheers
