there is a content creator named Rith who attempts to arrange the themes with the music we get from gameplay and trailers and it can help to get a better look at something closer to the actual theme of things like the apexes and zone music like of course it isnt perfect but the things they create with their track arrangements are impressively close to what the full themes are
In all the gameplay footage of everyone playing the demo from Gamescom, I have noticed that the apex monster of the Windward Plains, Rey Dau, has his own music playing, whenever you engage battle with him, compared to the other monsters. So, there is a good chance all the apex monsters will have their own music, similar to the big 4 from MH Generations Ultimate, I think. MHGU is the only game I haven't played, but I think they had their own music.
Rey dau is the apex predator of one specific area, it's much more special than Rathalos. They're tied to the environment, that's probably why they got different music.
The song we hear with the Quematrice ( big chicken ) at 6:52 is part of the Scarlet Forest theme. We first hear this motif in the previous trailer where they show off Lala Barina. In the TGS footage, Capcom shows off some gameplay in the Scarlet Forest and we hear the motif come up when monsters attack.
When I watched new trailer, akvelds theme immediately stood out to me! The emotion is nothing I've ever heard in monster hunter music before. It makes me so excited and I've re-listened to it so many times already! So basically what you said 😅
i can't wait fighting Arkveild with that music, that emotional melody and such a tragedy thing. that will be really good, just imagine it make me wanted to play t already
My biggest concern is that we might not have Tadayoshi Makino as composer again, and that would be such a shame, just like with Dragon's Dogma 2! It seems like this time Miwako Chinone is one of the main composers, because she seems to have composed the main theme for wilds. I have hope in her though, she did some good stuff for MH4U.
I have zero concerns about the composers themselves. Even DD2's Satoshi Hori is an amazing composer. The problem is the music/art direction that sometimes can "force" the composers to create disappointing music
@@DaviVasc I agree totally. DD2 has good music but sometimes it feels like Hori was forced to forgo the musical identity of DD1 to make more "serious" music if that makes sense but it comes at the cost of what the original DD score so special
I loved Magnamalo's theme for the emotional flute part. Arkveld's theme feels similar, and it looks like it goes along with a tragic story. It already gives me goosebumps, but I feel like the story is gonna give this theme a lot of impact. Much like Allmother Narwa (after you pointed out the combo of Narwa and Ibushi's themes in that one, it made it that much sadder). Man, is this goofy game gonna make me.. cry? Probably.
Genuinely through all of your videos you make me so happy and you seem like just such an amazing person! I love your videos so much keep up the amazing work man
We have outposts and villages in this game afaik, they're two separate areas now. We see that in windward plains really well, we have the temp camp and also the village where the native people live. I think in SF the wudwud hideout is effectively the village. I wonder if the trailer music is specifically the outpost music. I'm super excited regardless though, finally a MH with a bigger story lmao.
The rebirth theme on arkveld's music makes a lot of sense since he's essentially a Lazarus species, aka, a species once thought to be extinct but that has been rediscovered, like the coelacanth.
7:03 > couldn't it be the Scarlet Forest's theme? When you look at the 3rd trailer (with Lala Barina's reveal), you have the exact same music structure, if not the exact same music (listening to the 3rd trailer's music at around 0:36) and it fits very well!
I'm nitpicking one sentence, but... I would bring to bear my evidence that we HAVE seen them create so many monster-specific themes for one game before: Generations. We started with Great Maccao's raptor theme revamp, then each of the Fated Four had their own unique themes dripping with character. It was topped off with Nakarkos, all while returning monsters themes broke it up with familiar but still unique flavor. We ate good back then. I'm not saying I'll be disappointed if they don't reach those heights again, but it certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility.
Generations was a case apart, most of the unique themes come from older games were that theme was like 1 of 2. Of course as a compilation it would have a ton, because most of that is recycled content. Even then, it still follows the formula of "1 raptor theme, 1 flagship theme and 1 final boss theme", it seems like it has more because there's 4 flagships but the formula is the same
I think that the music of a village will appear but we will need to first establish a true village - MH Wilds is about journey to unknown giant land and the camps are temporary at the start of the game - there may be an established village at the end of the game maybe? Orrr it will be in MR. Same goes for quest completion - propably left for most important story quests or bosses, but we will see in few months for sure.
I think we're hearing map-specific themes with contextual variations. In World, we had themes for each map but different versions for how tough the monsters were that you were fighting. In Wilds, we could be hearing the themes change depending on weather state and whether you are fighting the apex.
I don’t think iconic village themes will be going anywhere, because villages aren’t going anywhere. There are outposts AND villages. We’ve had multiple locations before like in 4U, so I don’t think capcom will have any issues making a more general outpost theme for each locale and a more robust and fleshed-out theme for the actual village. We just have to wait and see
Jeje, pretty cool video, I wasn't expecting something like this. Yeah, the last theme sound very emotional. I remember trying to remove the voices in a video once. Either way, that's it. ¡Adiós!
What you said might be the village theme, is playing during a cutscene, and cutscenes have their own scores. So i think that tune contains a motif of the camp theme, but isnt that theme itself.
During the Capcom live on the monster hunter official channel during 38 minutes and 57 seconds to 39 minutes and 35 seconds, more of Ark’s theme can be heard. If you could do you editing magic here and listen to it, that would be amazing!
Do you mean during the TGS2024 Capcom Online Program? If so, that is the game's main theme. There's a video of the 20th Anniversary Orchestra version of it here on yt if you wanna hear it
@@miralis22 no no, I can’t link it otherwise it’ll delete the comment automatically. But the Capcom livestream on Thursday which showed Kut-Ku. If you go onto the video and go to 38 minutes and 57 seconds, they talk about Arkveld and play more of the theme we heard in the trailer.

More like Apex's have exclusive music. So Rathalos will share this theme because he's the 2bd Apex.

She was also in Rise and her music was great
Thanks for isolating this and making a video about it Davi. Your insights help me better appreciate these themes and what they’re trying to convey.
The fated four had their own themes which in this game we probably also have 4 apexes.

About Arkveld's theme: I find it reminiscent of God Shattering Star from Fire Emblem, especially the uplifting heroic part. Am I alone in this?
You really understand the language of music better than most people. Would love to hear the kind of music you compose ☺️
