I have a 2022 F450 Platinum daily driver with a Kelderman 5-6 air suspension lift. I have a compound turbo kit making 825rwhp, I get on average 14 to 16 mpg if I keep my foot off the loud pedal. (goes down after that) I don't worry about fuel mileage cause I'm driving what I wanted. So why complain about it, you're going to buy it anyway no matter the cost. The height and size you'll get use to driving it. My dad had a saying, "if you can't run with the big dawgs stay your ass on the porch."(it had a few expletives but you get the idea) The moral is simple, if you're going to complain about the size, the ride and fuel mileage don't do it. There's positives and negatives to everything you do, but if you're doing what you want, the positives out weighs the negatives every time.
Hell yeah brotha ! I daily drive a 2018 f250 with kelderman 10-12” but rides at 14-16” on 28x16s and 42s ! Absolutely love the ride feels like an Escalade ! 👏 going 2017-2019 dually right now with anylevel 1-13” ! Just looking for the right dually 🤔 much love brotha !!
Cool informative video, I lifted my 21 Ram 1500 with a 4" BDS and put on 22X12 AND 35 TIRES and average 15-16 mph, when stock I got 17-19. So completely worth it!
@@petetakingover1550 I plan on getting it around 15 to 16 inch of lift.ive daily drivin it at 11.5 inch for over 2 years.doesnt even seem like it's lifted very much to me until someone with a 6 inch lift parks next to me.
I agree with fuller , I have 2014 slt and had 6" procomp installed at dealer and it definitely improved ride quality. Everyone who rides in or drives it is impressed. After driving it, some friends went out and bought one themselves. Picking quality is everything. Over 100,000 miles and still don't need an alinement 70000 miles out of toyo rt 35x12.5x20... on my 2nd set now. I've dailyed it now for 8 years and no complaints. Never needed to use awesome warranty procomp offers free for life. Much better than gms warranty on its own parts.
@nickweaver9849 Good choice on the procomp, now 10 years later and mines been worth every penny. I only got stage one, so the dealer reused the factory control arms. It has been a pavement princess, so no need for the bells and whistles. Well congrats, I hope it's as hassle free as mine
Cought this late bc work but better late than never. This is too nice guys. I think I know what to get if this is a option. Wheels Arkon Caesar in 20x12 with bfgoodrich ta ko2 37x14.5. If a lift was a option a 3 inch bds would be perfect and practical for my lifestyle. Hey a guy can dream. Thanks for another fire video.
I daily drive 2012 Silverado crew cab with 12" cognito lift on 40s & 26x14 arkon Lincolns, rides like a dream and with it regeared still get factory gas mileage lol
As far as fuel mileage goes, if you can afford to drop thousands of dollars on a lift kit wheels and tires, I'm sure you can afford to pay for the extra gas.
Bro you just straight up called my uncle out cause he keeps telling me not to lift my truck and put bigger tires on it and he definitely has a slight drinking problem😂
I keep getting told I shouldn’t lift my truck 6” “because I use my truck as a truck.” This will be my first ever lift. I leveled my truck but I have every intention of still using my truck as a truck. I am not building a show truck, I take my truck off road and through the woods, I use it to haul trailers with my lawnmower and other utility trailer uses. I’m not building a show truck. Im not worried about getting my money back out of my truck because I plan on keeping it for a few years. I have a 2008 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3, anyone have any opinions?
It’s tough, it can get annoying throwing stuff up in the bed, or getting in and out of the truck some days. All depends on what you’re willing to put up with!
@@CustomOffsetsTV that does make sense. I want to do it for the experience. The hardest decision I’m making is whether or not I want to pay someone to do the lift so it isn’t my headache, or if I want to save the money and do it myself. I am mechanically inclined, plus I manufacture all the front and rear GM HD pickup axles where I work so I am not afraid to tackle the project, I just put a LOT of hours in at work!

Bds is a real good lift I have a pro comp 6 inch lift on my 2015 f150 coyote for sure remove the air dam off for the look 37x20x13.50 10 wide
I see some people take off the 4wd valence and replace it with the 2wd one too- but I think completely removed looks best! -Fuller
2017 Silverado with 5inch lift...6 days a week back and forth to work 🤟

Did you ever replace the ucas? Just did 6” ProComp on my 2024 RST

I got a 6 in rough country and I wish I would have gotten the bds ...so I'm forced to upgrade to the fox coilovers in the front and 2.0 in the back
Custom offsets set mine up. 7” readylift stanced out. Mine is not a daily driver.
Trucks for life 😎
It’s always people who don’t have something, says you can’t do that thing. Trucks, guns, hunting, everything.
Such a shame I wish we got more of these big trucks here in Australia we only get the ram and it’s like 3x the size
Y’all got some great views and trails down there though! And about 10 million Toyotas and Land Cruiser with ‘Roo bars. 😂 -Fuller

Don't care what anyone tells me. My daily cateye is getting cammed and lifted lol.
Video sponsored BDS.
I knew someone would say it. It’s good stuff! We wouldn’t run it on my F150, the K350, and CO2 if it wasn’t! -Fuller
