Y'all are a hoot! Thanks for all the great info and discussion. Roll Tide! Btw, I got the "Dooley" since we had a Bluegrass Band in Tuscaloosa when I lived there.
I like lifted trucks but one big con you failed to mention was the fact that the bed is almost useless. Not very convenient if the bottom of the bed is sitting 5 feet above the ground lol. Still a good video, always like your content!
Yeah… great video! I was thinking the same as 88tcoupe about the truck bed. Those tailgate steps are awesome, but pretty much useless on a 5 foot tall truck. 😂 Dooley 😂
Just a suggestion for the “future videos” planning clipboard... I hope one day you guys can showcase the AMP Research Powerstep XL running boards on a 4” and 6” lifted F150 to see how much better (or not) they are for getting in and out of those tall trucks, compared directly to the regular Powerstep boards or factory fixed boards. I have the AMP Powerstep boards on a 2020 FX4 with stock suspension, wheels and tires. They are perfect for this old guy.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!! IF A PERSON GONNA PUT NEGATIVE THOUGHTS IN THIER MIND, THEN THEY SHOULDN'T DO IT. THOSE ARE THE SAME GUYS THAT BE SWEATING BULLETS WHEN THEY SEE THIER LADY HAVE THE TAKE ME NOW EYES 😂😂😂
Does a level kit effect the lane keep assist or adaptive cruise control? Do you guys recalibrate the ride height sensors? Will this effect the blue cruise when it becomes available? Love your videos!
I love cruising in my old lifted 93 Chevy 1500. The rust is horrible but still growls like a tiger under the pedal. Also the exhaust is rusted in half but gonna straight pipe it soon. peace man!
I lifted 2" my 2016 F-150 with a pair of bilstein shocks but it jumps a lot, it is too rigid and it jumps a lot, it doesn't feel smooth the suspension,
I dnt go off roading I would just like bigger rims on my suv. Stock is 17 inch wheels I want 20 inch rims do I need a lift kit or not I just dnt want rubbing if I get bigger rims.
I’m considering buying a 2021 f150 6 inch lift and 35’s but wondering what motor do you recommend v8, 3.5 ecoboost or 3.5 powerboost trying to keep the most mpg my commute is about 60 miles of freeway driving in California thanks
The first pro is not necessarily completely true. My wife and my mom both hate my truck. They thought it was too high when it was stock and now they wont ride with me at all unless i drive my car. I even have power running boards and they still dont like it
Lifted trucks should have a defined distance above surface for bumpers. A lifted truck will always come out the winner when hitting a passenger car…sometimes climbing over the hood! Also, having a higher center of gravity, they have compromised handling.
@@TCcustoms_ Yep… The chip shortage is so bad that you don’t have 2021 trucks to put those lift kits in. I have been noticing how “devoid of vehicles” your lot is in more recent videos. Plus, you guys are now doing videos (highlighting Ford stuff) on trucks your customers have bought elsewhere. I feel for you guys. It’s going to be an even rougher July and August than the June disaster was. I hope FoMoCo can start to turn things around in September. Peace!
Only height challenged people find the cons for lifting your truck. I can't think of one good reason not to! It's great for cardio. Instead of the drive-thru you park and walking to get what you want. You can double park just about anywhere simply by just parking on to of those annoying little tiny cars. The list is endless! Lift it up!! You're love it!!
Yo this was a good video, yall got good comedic timing together. Also hit home bc I drive a lifted truck. Great job guys
Building, owning, and driving a lifted truck is all about compromise
well said!
You guys should look at the any level lift system. You can lower it for loading your lifted truck which can suck sometimes!

One of the best channels out there so much information

Imagine lifting heavy furniture 😂
@@elchucofried5683 My point exactly. When you lift a truck, you pretty much can't use it as a truck anymore.
I don’t have that problem. Well, I am 6’5”!
@@88tcoupe not really mines lifted still use for work

Fuel Mileage suffers from a lift
How so
@@Hoodrichmalachi heavier vehicle and more wind resistance
Good humor! Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
*THERE ARE NO CONS*
*PRO'S ALL THE WAY BABY👍👍*

Haha ‘fiat boys’ that gave me a good chuckle !
Officially going to spell it "Dooley" now and I don't care if its wrong 🤣🤣🤣🤣
i think it’s about we get a colab with Custom Offsets
Cons
Hard for the wife to get in and out of. With extended amp steps. One of my kids fell out of my 8" f250
With my kit. The Pros definitely outweigh the cons.
When you lift a truck, is it possible to lift it so that it becomes level?
When is the next give away?? I’m interested in a 4 inch lift kit(bds)
6’3” vs 5’3”
Informative video wasn’t aware you had to make frame modifications.
Gotta love these 2 guys , brutally honest 😅😂……… keep it up guys . Very informative information 👍
I lifted 2" my 2016 F-150 with a pair of bilstein shocks but it jumps a lot, it is too rigid and it jumps a lot, it doesn't feel smooth the suspension,
I mean Zone 6”?? I have mine powder coated green 😄my Ram rides like a dream.

Got entered. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏼 good luck everyone.
Nice to see mini me next to you
How is the transmission shifting with those big tires, how much of a strain is it?
it’s not too bad

Get the powerboost i avg around 23mpg with mine
Grandpa truck has mud flaps , highway tires, seat & dash covers stock rake no lift and very reliable… kids join the old heads.
Pros everybody will yield outta your way
Cons all your steering suspension wear out faster
I thought for a sec that I saw my truck in this video. But it was the first retro truck. Not 2.0 ☹️😜
Could you tell me the trade in value on a 6” lifted 2018 f150 KingRanch 4x4 with 20” stock wheels and 37s
The short dude was honest 👌 the tall guy I wouldnt trust he tried to downplay the mpg atleast the short guy was forthcoming with the mpg.
All Pros no Cons 😉😉😉
Does lifting a truck void your extended manufacture Warranty?
No it shouldn't
They missed an amazing opportunity to make a height joke when talking about changing the oil 😂
2 bad your not giving away a kit for anything but a ford. i could use a kit for my 03 Ram, lol
Colton doesn't look like he's your man... He winced when you referred to him that way.
Permanent modification? No thanks. I'll stick with a leveling kit and good set of 2.5 Fox or king shocks.
The first pro is not necessarily completely true. My wife and my mom both hate my truck. They thought it was too high when it was stock and now they wont ride with me at all unless i drive my car. I even have power running boards and they still dont like it
same lmao
PERFECT!
It's called stellantis now not Fca
How to determine a permanent modification prior to picking a lift kit. I am specifically asking for my 2016 RAM 1500 crew cab 4x4 ecodiesel.
When are you going to call me... My truck will be here in Sept and I expect to win the lift kit.
It’s not even fiat Chrysler anymore. They keep getting bought out by foreign companies. 🤣
What about gas mileage

Not if your easy to roll over and crush
Cybertruck by Tesla is the future ! All cons that you just described will be irrelevant! Go Tesla.!! Go Cybertruck.!!
Blind spot monitoring for people who don't know how to drive
😉👍👌
Pros about owning a lifted truck: passing the idiots who think their sedans can drive though flash floods in south Florida
lmao
Why's it got to be a 2021...why not my 2020 F150!! lol
Because we have a TON of 2021 Kits in stock. We are running low on the 2020 kits.
Hey you could register and maybe win then go sell it for your kit OR trade in your truck for for the 2021 but cheaper can be better

Con. They'll think that you have a little......
Yes people its DULLY now my last name lol
Duelly?
Pros: get more attention from dudes and children stand no challenge. cons: you can no longer be straight
all thay did was plug them selves the hole time
The taller the truck, the smaller the junk. And, don't underestimate the true capabilities of a stock truck.
Sorry bro, 7” lift, 8” junk! Don’t judge a book by its cover.
Bullshit. I am not spending another cent. I will use my truck until it's dead. 250k miles is good.
No cons.
I would rather drive a lowered F-150
