Sean Rooney deserves awards for the work he has done. He composed, orchestrated and did the piano for this and the previous FIR songs. Just wanted to makes sure people knew of Sean's work and he gets the credit he deserves :)
Agree Sean is a beast
Imagine they happened because of a demo he sent to Ronnie & The Co with being asked to do so. They became so randomly
Amen to this. Sean needs to make some movie soundtracks!
Sean rooney is really talented 😊
youtube.com/@SeanRooneyMusic
actually he has admitted that its a friend of his. suffice to say it doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to play the piano cuz he does. but the piano performances on the songs were done by his friend. BUT MAN THEY CAN ALL MAKE A DAMN GOOD SONG WITH RONNIE AT THE HELM.
Everybody knows the song, not many seem to know the story or realize just how dark it is
Jacoby (singer for papa roach) wrote it about a childhood friend. Jacoby introduced his friend to drugs, the drugs led his friend down a dark path, and he eventually attempted suicide. Jacoby felt responsible for it, being the one to bring the drugs into the situation. The song is about what happened to that friend
The friend survived, hes alive and well now. Been sober for years, same as jacoby. They eventually got together again and kinda reconciled everything. The friend said he never blamed jacoby for what happened
This is more valuable information than you think, man
Much appreciated👍👍👍
Thank you for this. I had no idea
The original Papa roach version always hits me but this one brings me nothing but Chills!
Even Papa Roach reacted to this and loved it too
@@Sharnic285 I can imagine! This is a beautiful rendition of the song!
The original is the real one, because of the Power and the aggressiveness.... but Ronny Put the Feelings Out and showed US all what IS the real meaning and you feel only what the Lyrics should say... because the Most of all people hear that wth fun and Party... but thats not a Lyric for Party...
He took a song that filled us with rage and energy and turned it into sorrowful self reflection
Yeah for me the original version was like an angsty teenager just venting frustration, but the new version is like that same person as an adult who's come to terms with the fact they will die by suicide.
@@daltonevans3412 someone else described it similarly except he said the broken people the angsty teens became
Perfect way to describe it!!!🤙
I would agree, definitely emotional. With Ronnie's vocals, the strings and piano all combined to intensify the emotion.
Once again, Ronnie Radke showing the world why he is a musical genius.
The end of this is really hits home. Not only do the lyrics have crazy emotion but the notes he's hitting are on a whole other level. Truly incredible what Ronnie's doing lately, especially with an iconic anthem like this.
Ronnie and that damn piano, beautiful together. The world is literally Falling In Reverse.💯
Ronnie got the chance to play this for jacoby, and jacoby absolutely loved this rendition. Ronnie is a true master of music in a way that not a lot of artists are. He can manipulate emotions with such ease is astounding. And his range is incredible. Mad props to him
Goosebumps...... just.... goosebumps...... And quite a few tears.... 😭
*quick edit*
The original song, came out at a godsend moment for me. I was dealing with a relapse (for lack of a better term to use) of a medical issue in my late teens that had my lungs randomly collapsing. Was in a really dark place due to the constant collapses + scars from surgeries..... the Original is what kept me from staying down and clawed my way back out of that pit.
THIS is how i felt when i heard the original.. THIS is what i was hearing when i heard that original song... its what gave me the courage to not back down and give up.
Yes i was 'head-banging' to the origional (i even do the same to this version, just at a more sedated pace), but the feelings THIS song give.. are what i was dealing with at that moment...
I really hope things get better for you
Since I lost my dad last year I've been looking for that person to tell me I'm fine. He was the one that would tell me everything is alright and I'm fine. Those lyrics break me down every time. I need this music to fight the demons now
So sorry for your loss. :( I know it hurts and you miss them, but don't die with your dead, honor them by living your life as they wished! Bless you!
I'm sorry for your loss, I hope you are okay 🙏🙏🙏
Hope you're doing good bro
Papa roach sang this to the kids/teenagers we were and ronnie is singing to the adults we are now
Omg chills and tears , this is such an emotional version, Ronnie never stops showing why he is the best vocalist and a genius
Watch the world burn was an eye opener for 50 year old me,this cover is a masterpiece
Amazing take on this song. It’s mind blowing that he did this in one take.
What I love is the original was the anger version of said depression but this shows the sadness that also comes with depression it hit me hard ❤
Just showes again the talent, creativity, and musical GENIUS this man has. It moves you on a level you didn't know was possible 🖤😯🖤
Great reaction Lilly Jane! This is one of the heaviest songs that Ronnie's done. The "Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine" line hits really hard. Anyone that's reading this comment and you're feeling the same way, I just wanna tell you, you're fine. ❤👍🏻
Chillzzzzzzzz as soon as he gets loud.. such an incredible artist! Fantastic reaction - new sub!
you appreciating and noticing his sobriety shows your compassion and understanding while showing your love for music. you are an awesome person.
Yet another song I would not have heard without you. Thank you.
"I didnt realise how dark this song realy is"
That right there, is why this is am absolute masterpiece.
Ronnie took a 20 year old song and managed to give it a completely different meaning for a lot of people
My emotions hit the ceiling when I first heard Ronnie's version. I stand by what I said them, nothing short of Genius ❤
Awesome review Thxs. I felt your emotion watching it. Keep up the awesome reviews please 😊
Ayyyyyy been waiting for your reaction to this! As I tend to with most new songs that I like when they drop XD
"I can't go on living this way" has to be one of the most hauntingly powerful phrases, especially when rendered like this. The primal scream of the soul within unbroken by the storm.
Love your reaction ❤
I have listened to this song probably over 100 times in two weeks. It hits me so hard. Cause I tried to hang myself back last April. When I got revived and got sent some where for a little while it opened my eyes about how my mom would fill my son and my grandson
It’s crazy how many reactions I’ve seen of this masterpiece, and it’s like NO ONE knew the actual words to the original song lmao!!!
..
Humanity needs to be emotional; like this work.
I agree when you said he really makes the song darker and more emotional. He puts his feeling into this remake making the lyrics relate to his past
Totally agree! This version made me so sad 😞. Very deep
Would love to see some more Reactz from Falling in Reverse, you do such an amazing job expressing the true meaning behind each one. Awesome stuff!!!!
Such an amazing take on a absolute classic rock song this hits you different
After this it's not even a debate. This is one of the greatest performances I've ever heard. I'm almost 50.
And he did this all in one take😭😭
Incredible cover 👏 i subbed
Still makes the tears fall even tho I´ve heard it like 20 times already! Ronnie is something else!
Ronnie is just different and I don't expect much from his music except excellence and masterpieces.
Defo hits you with the feels
Top of the charts once again. It's only going to get better and better....
At 4:31 you started losing it a little bit. You blinked 7 times in a row and your eyes wondered a little. Thank you for that little demonstration of emotion. This song hits so much harder with Ronnies version of it.
Love this reaction its a beautuful almost gothic style
Lilly its interesting to see the same emotional rollercoaster like for me
Ronnie has came a long ways but was always great he’s a definite influence now days
This hit so emotional harder 😢😢 cuts deep
Radke gets me every time…. He’s such a musical genius and to see where he is and where he came from…. So much respect….. but I wish he would stop making tears come down my face with lyrics that hit me so hard…. Even though this song has been around so long, THIS song is brand new to me and man…..
Last Resort lyrics were originally writen to be played on piado . Tobin Esperance from Papa Roach wrote the lyrics with the idea in mind to combine them with classical music and hip-hop .
The way Ronnie re-imagined this song just allows it to hit different. So great!
yea it hit diff now all these years now its just no words just listen haha says it all For all those that dont know papa roach Bless
Genius man ❤
Him: "I'm CRYYYYYIN."
Me: No, you're SCREAMIN.
The first time I've heard this cover by Ronnie I was just shocked how emotional his singing can get after his last "watch the world burn" hit as its so much rap-metal in it...
Reminds me if what Johnny Cash did with nin hurt
The entire time you’re on edge waiting for the song to speed up into the PR cadence. This song is sick!!!!
Great Reaction Lilly! I believe this song could have been written for Ronnie because it fits what he has lived through. I am sure he felt this way many times. I can even relate to it. Jacolby wrote some amazing lyrics, and Ronnie made this song shine. It touches your soul. It's truly a masterpiece. I hope you are doing well. Much love ❤️
I never really paid attention to the lyrics to this song. This reimagine hit my soul so hard.
I played a few shows opening for escape the fate as a kid. It's awesome to see a band gain this much from then.
I've listened to this song a million times. I heard it for the first time today
This song actually makes me want to take that final step....
Ronnie 100% hands down won the people’s Grammy with this one. Masterpiece.
Remember everybody live your best life
"It all started when I lost my mother..."
I never made that connection before. That's why Ronnie connects with his song so much. What's worse than losing a mother to death? Losing a mother to addiction and other substance use issues, like Ronnie did (think of the scene in "Drugs" when he sees his mother). They're still alive, but beyond help/forming a relationship. Heartbreaking.
Beautiful the song and you
My favourite is "Watch the World Burn" total fire 🔥
Honestly the lyrics, his emotion, and skills plus the incredible inception style visuals, and simple instrumental is a recipe for success. There's rumors he belted that out in studio in 20min. A week ago i had no clue who he is. now i think he's probably the best music artist of a generation the range from rap to metal to singing is really impressive even from someone who isn't really a "fan". But credit to where credit is due
oh that's easy: I'm Not a Vampire (Re-Vamped) I cry o that song every listening. even my 10 year old daughter cried to it first time she saw the music video! this (Last Resort) took me by such surprise and since I've made attempts and are contemplating s*icide again it just hits extra hard.
First Ren and now FiR dropping a song about s*icide? feel's like a wink
Crazy i thought the exact same thing about how his version made me realize how deap or dark this song is and or was. Also that i hada lot of the lyrics wrong
this song hits just like what Ronnie did for Face Down with the Symphonic version 💙
I'm crying...
Damn! Your gorgeous!! Love from ky
Ronnie's definitely a rare talent with great vision...
This stands alone.
He takes great care of himself .He looks younger than he did years ago.
You look so very elegant and I can see the beauty of your SOUL in your enchanting eyes.
I know right ❤❤
❤❤
Hey sometimes you have to break down what is life to evolve
There's a tie between all his recent videos. Zombified the world ends, Voices the inner turmoil leads to clarity and freedom, Watch the world burn he releases truth bombs causing chaos causing the world to burn, and this it explores grief and despair but after the world crumbles around him it resets itself and life goes on. They're all deep issue videos and hidden meaning in the songs
I Like the Song, too. Youre so cute, i cry with you ❤🙏🏻
I’m Australian and had never heard the original, I don’t think that it was ever big here. But after listening to this masterpiece I went and listened to the original and what a difference! Fast paced, full of teenage angst and heavy on the guitars and this is the polar opposite. Unlike most others, I have no emotional connection to the original so for me, this is just perfection by Falling in Reverse once again. I am in love with Ronnie’s musical brain and the brilliance that pours from it. He really is on another level to so many others.
Yea it was popular in Australia
@@L4CKx my son was a teen then, never heard it, and he was music mad. The louder the better, but I’m the same. Don’t know why we never heard of it or Papa Roach at the time
🐕❤hey lilly jane
I love all the singles they have put out, but The Drug In Me Is Reimagined was stuck in my head the longest. Was orchestral double bass and death metal guitarist, and this is probably my favorite now. I don't know if i'll be singing it randomly though.
We can all be thankful that it wasn't a cover version as such, just FIR way of seeing the lyrics and making there own take on it.
saw this comment on another video and trying to spread it as a relatable way to describe this
Papa Roach version - we were angry teens mad at the world
Falling In Revers version - we are broken adults tired of the world
@Lilly Jane Reacts Why have you not reacted to Kasey Chambers cover of "Loose Yourself" ? It's a MUST SEE for all Eminem fans.
You should check out the video Ronnie posted of him playing an unfinished recording for Jacoby.
I know Popular Monster was your first reaction for Falling in Reverse, but you REALLY need to do a reaction video to Voices in My Head. It will definitely get a reaction, trust me!
He make a cover of the recent deseased coolio, another masterpiece in his own right!!!
❤😢😢❤
You should see the reaction the leed singer of Papa Roach had when Rooney had him hear it for the 1st time
The Original carrys the Rage, this Version the Sadness that goes Hand in Hand with the Rage....
Bruuh if yall really dive in to most rock/metal music lyrics they are really nice
Make sure u dont take a nap in a park where skunks are located cuz that hair will indeed attract them.
Seen someone describe it perfectly
Papa Roach version was for us Angry teens
FIR version is for us broken adults
holy sh%it youre beatifull ...
🌹🌹
This hits harder than the original
🐇
Popular monster is my favorite
