Mate good to see you back. Don't beat yourself up over the lap times, there are a lot of variables that change. Etc tyres, pressures, track temps, wind, weather, and how you're feeling on the day as well. As long as you have fun and stay safe, keeping the bike and yourself in one piece ready for the next ride. Unleash hell next time.
We wanna see track events! No matter what the lean angles are😄. I bought my 890duke r couple of years ago because I watch U riding that bike and hunt bigger bikes (well at least U showed how capable that bike is). Love that bike on track! Stay one piece! I have to waite for snow to melt..will take 4months😂🇫🇮👍
Welcome Back Cubano! I currently ride a XR 2020. Thinking of switching next year to something smaller because i dont tour as much anymore. I cant decide between Street Triple 765 RS, S1000R & XSR 900. Whats your opinion? I rode all of them but still i cant decide 😂
All great choices man. The 765 RS and S1000R will be more sporty, better equipped if you plan to do track events. The XSR 900 will be more comfortable for the street and it's such a cool and distinct looking bike. Great choices all around.
The s1000r should be quicker around a track, just like you said, it's acceleration, braking and corner speed should all be better.....I'm sure you'll suss it out 👍🏻
Even though I absolutely love the quality of GoPro they are just to unreliable. The best footage I have ever filmed or wanted to film, GoPro let me down many times. Switch to dji action 5 pro and dji wireless mic 2. The dji has a higher heat threshold as well as far better battery life. The mic2 you can record with both mics and record the audio separately in each mic through the action 5 pro. Meaning you can have one mic for the exhaust the other for your voice and adjust the quality individually. Also I know what you mean about not riding for like a year+ and coming back. You go from absolutely dialed casually bring the bike to limit to feeling like a novice. I just did my first track day at Jennings December 7th 2024 after not riding for like a year since I got t boned and I was slow AF barely ok novice pace. Prior to that I rode on track October 10 2023 and rode the slower end of expert pace. I spent the year building my bike, it’s still not finished just waiting on my graphic designer. I can’t wait for the season to start so I can get back to riding good again and better. Hopefully meet you at a few track days
Remember bro you’re going there to have fun! Good to see you back!

Thanks! The 890r is a weapon no doubt, such a cool bike. I'll try to stitch a video together from the last event 🤙
