Omg seeing him tear 😭 up made me tear up and after seeing the grill being given to Kevin really broke me. But I really wanted to say was Count is a true American who has a super heart towards human beings!!! You're an epic dude Counting cars 🚘 Much love and respect to you, your staff and families. God bless you all, also at the History Channel thank you for your doing.such a wonderful job on the making of the video.
Danny really does seem like a good dude. Even when he's on Pawn Stars or American Restoration or popping up somewhere else, he just has this aura about him of a big ole softie.
You, Mr. Koker, are a class act. Not only did you invite that gentleman to the reveal of his former family car, you also give him a part of the car that was hand built by him and his dad. This kindness is why Count's Kustoms is one of my favorite shows. Kudos, sir.
I'm about to turn 38 in less than a week and I never understood my dad until I became a father myself. He is going to be 72 this year and I lost my only grandfather (my dad's dad) when I was 13 and I was the first to find him passed, and I still carry that around to this day, but I know that when my dad goes I'm really going to be inconsolable. I've always been a mommy's boy, so I don't know how I'm going to deal with her loss.
This is EXACTLY why I have always been a big fan of Danny and Count's Kustoms...because this man has a big heart and he genuinely LOVES to give back and show tribute to people's memories. This is just another reminder of why Danny is so loved in the car community. He didn't have to find this man, he didn't have to do ANYTHING to show honor to this man's father, but the fact that he did and presented this man with such an awesome memorable gift is what makes Danny such a great guy. I'm proud to be a car guy myself because of guys like Danny...honestly.
@Z thanks for asking. As a kid I remember him having 2 different corvettes and barracuda by Plymouth for awhile. He also drove a nova. Those cars stand out in my memory. I’m sure he had others it’s been too many years ago to remember all of them. sorry. He died in 2004 many years after leaving the car business. 👍
I was genuinely happy for that man when they rolled out the grill, thats not only a childhood memory but a memory of his father. Amazing well done Danny.
Im from india Mr. Danny.... It is so loveable to see ur passion towards building the cars I hv never seen something like this before, the way u present them at the end it's really overwelming to see made me to increase my love for cars. God bless u. Keep inspiring... 👏👏
Wow man!! You got me on this one!! Got tears in my eyes... Beautiful sentiments. Beautiful car . In the end ??? The father was honored and the son was grateful .
ABSOLUTELY LOVE this car and its evolution ! The one thing that I think would befit its beauty is a chrome bezel for the opening in the hood scoop. Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL day !!!
My dad taught me everything. Even how to walk. He’s still around and I’m now a truck mechanic because of how much he’s taught me. Very blessed that I have supportive parents because I don’t where I would be today without them. Father’s day and mother’s day is every day.
Probably THE Best Counting Cars I have ever seen. The Count & his crew flat out Rock It. I was raised in Vacaville since I was 5 yrs old 1966-1983 but never knew of the family of the story. Very Cool. Peace -tom
One of the most beautiful cars I ve ever seen . Elegant . I ve been a car guy for 40 years and I was lucky enough to have had a job that allowed me to drive many many exotic multimillion dollar cars from zonda to gt40 etc.. . There is just something about the lines of this car that make it exotic and elegant at the same time .
That was beautiful Danny. It made me cry. You could only understand if you never had a father, how much that moment, that car and that grill would mean to someone.
The tears were real heart felt. Your dad is proud of you bro. As for Danny I am sure you had a round of applause from all Angels surrounding the world. Beautiful episode
This episode made me once again wish I had a father .Respects bro the Count for reaching out the the original Owners son and sharing this reveal with him .
Dude you making me have tears lately on every video from the military 3 car, to the couple with the poor child I'll with cancer and now this. How could you not feel the joy and love coming out of your amazing business. I have learned a great deal about the core of this, the hearts of your team and yourself has represented the values we all desire to share on this planet you have led this direction changing the schuman resonance of the entire planet spreading what matters cus nothing else does, LOVE. God Bless Counts Customs team and family. Thank You Man for tears of joy to share.
Former Air Force pilot, you can see the inspiration. First thought that came to mind was the SR-71 Blackbird. If this car was painted black with red pinstriping it would remind me of the SR-71. The world's fastest, highest flying plane in the world. The count did a great job on this car. If I win a few hundred million dollar lottery guess who I'll be calling. Thanks for sharing!
Yeah got me tear eyed. Dad left the house after the pandemic..I said some things to him and we've not spoked.. Dad's my best friend.. maybe one day we can meet and I can make his dreams true. I love my Dad
Danny is one of the most respected of any of the guys that host car shows. He shows that warmth and humanity are indeed part of being a gearhead. A truly wonderful man without any doubt. I'd really like to meet him.
Danny is one class act. Just bringing the original owner's son to see it's reveal to the world is cool. Then to go a step further and redo the grill that he and his dad fabricated for a keepsake and memorial to that shows integrity. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone was like this? God bless Danny and the crew at Counting Cars.
Man that brought tears to my eyes!!! Always liked those guys and I think extremely awesome for them to think about how someone would feel having that much history with that car as to save a piece of that car him and his father built!! Those are some stand up guy's and that is by far one f the sickest cars I've ever seen.... everything was perfect.... especially the choice of rims with that hood imo really set it off big time!!! Love this show. 🇺🇸👊😎🇺🇸
ran in to danny and kevin at the airport in vegas a couple years ago, totally cool guys that werent bothered at all when i came over and told them how i loved the show......class acts all around
keep that thing somewhere safe. dont let tall grass grow under it. tarp it or store inside if you can. you will enjoy restoring that truck. worth every minute. RIP to all the dads we miss. I know I miss mine.
How can you not love the Count??? Such an understanding of love for autos and what they mean to people. I think of my ol Man every time I watch the show thanks Count.. Rockie Earl RIP...
....the entire point was to showcase the borla retro injection. It's a point of emphasis. Most of the other kellison body types had scoops shaped like that just not as big.
Wow! Very cool Danny! (And guys!) About to loose my dad due to cancer, and this episode was just what I needed to call him up and talk about some of our projects together!
Amazing car, beautiful great job, Danny !!! I'm a car nut for classic cars my dad has a 1966 Xke Etype Jag coupe and it's being restored, and he didn't get to see the car only picture before he passed away August 24th 2020, but the car was in peace for about 35 years and it's at the finish line wish he would have gotten to see it completed before he had passed on..
It is so awesome your dedication to father and son projects. How you took his breath away with that wall decoration and kept his father's memory alive. That was simply amazing and wonderful. Excellent job y'all put so much love into This car
I’ve watched Counts customs like forever, but this car and build is like etched in my mind ! That car is truly the sexiest ride I’ve ever seen, Danny, Ryan, and crew you took this wayyyy over the top !
Danny is such a cool guy and a real gentleman too. Lovely touch there with presenting the grill to Kevin. If I ever visit Las Vegas I have to meet Danny. It's an absolute must.
Vegas is very lucky to have a true honest to god car guy like Danny. I'm not gonna lie I got choked up when the original grill came out. the bond between a father and son is sacred and the fact that this particular bond involved a stunningly gorgeous kellison is the icing on the cake.

Mad props on the grill display
Presenting the grille as a keepsake was a pure class act on Danny's part. Part of Vegas that needs to be world wide.
When he wheeled out the grille, I thought they had made it into a grill!
Here Here!
Danny really does seem like a good dude. Even when he's on Pawn Stars or American Restoration or popping up somewhere else, he just has this aura about him of a big ole softie.
Absolutely World Class!!!! Love it!!
Well said......
Danny is a classy gentleman. He presented the grille at the end. Made me all teary eyed.
Man that’s the sexiest car that’s been on the show
Same
I'm glad I wasn"t the only one...haha....
Me too
Giving him the grill at the end it was the best gift ever for that guy ...
When he got emotional talking about his dad and the memories they shared i get it. I know a lot of us do. We have to walk tall for our dads 💚
Must be nice 👀
Agreed, this is one of the most spiritual episodes I've seen.
yes 💚

I agree. If I could afford a classic restoration that's where I would go.
I'm pretty well grizzled at age 74, but when they rolled out that grille, I welled up! Too cool for school..
I welled up too
Hope you are healthy and safe.

My favorite episode by far, shows his true character and his thoughtfulness. Really separates from the others
