Most people in Las Vegas bet with chips, but Danny “The Count” Koker bets with cars. This Sin City legend walks, talks and breathes cars and bikes. When he sees a car he wants, he will do whatever it takes to get his hands on it-including making on-the-spot cash offers to unsuspecting owners. On the HISTORY series Counting Cars, Danny and his team restore, customize and sell cars in a hurry, scrambling to keep their Las Vegas shop in the black. From classics to exotics, from hotrods to choppers, Danny and the crew of Count’s Kustoms will stop at nothing to find and flip the greatest rides of all time.

Hi!
like 👍 👍
To be honest ireally want that car i hope i can have that in the future
23k?? He lowballed a lowball on this poor guy and called it a win win all the way around??
at first i wasnt sure if i liked Danny, but i gotta say hes a pretty cool guy and he knows his stuff :)
This old guy is awesome. Hope he kept his home and got another vette
Love your name... oh and the old man
The guy is awesome because he understands priorities.
Imagine the whole losing the house thing was just a story and really he wanted a big down payment for a new C8 Corvette. lol
I hope someone gives him the new 2020 c8 or an old split-window vette
@@NoodleBoy101 lol
It's so sad to see so many people losing their houses nowadays!
@Todd Cahill u never know what a person is going through all u can do is be kind
That old guy isn't losing his house because of the shutdown he's retired so his income hasn't been affected.
The banks are cashing in on THEIR misfortune ; and still they're money hungry, thieves! 🤔👎
This is an old episode lol
this episode (the purchase part) was literally years ago.
I prefer the pop up headlights ngl 😂😂
So do l
Fr that the only thing I really didn’t like on the car
Yes, should have went with modded pop up headlights or original as long as they work. The pop ups on most any car back in the day was a must have. Bottom line they were cool.
If he was selling this to Rick he would say 2000 dollars and I'm taking all the risk here.
Well technically I thought he was the guys name was Rick lmao but yes ur right
He is taking all the risk
😂 right
Rick would ask a part of his house as well?
Because he runs a pawn shop and has to make a profit. You can't go into that kind of store expecting retail prices.
This has to be one of the most gorgeous Vettes I've ever seen!
UNTIL DANNY HACKED IT ALL UP
@@PostUp_Time The front end looks ridiculous.
Several years ago my Dad bought a 69 Charger R/T from a man who had just and I mean JUST lost his wife to cancer (her car still sat in their driveway) and he couldn’t pay the medical bills. Man “needed” and asked for 30 grand. My Dad went straight to the bank and gave the gentleman 40. And that Charger now sits in my garage 10 years after my fathers passing. I’m not saying what Danny did was bad in anyway, I just wanted to share the story.
Thanks for the story.Your dad was a good man. I was born in 70, my dad had an orange charger with a white interior. it is my earliest memory. He sold it shortly after. I guess it was not a family man's car. Wish it was still around, wish he was too.
What your father did (and I can imagine what kind of a great man would have done that) makes my belief in humanity stronger.
You had an awesome Dad, my friend. What a great story. Thanks for sharing it.
I would love to see him restore a car to its original condition as it came off the assembly line.
They’re hard to sell. Drum brakes, no power steering, horrible suspension.. resto mods get more than numbers matching cars nowadays
It’d be cool if he put some 22 inch rims and a ps2 in there
He's done a few on customers request
@@paranoidandroid9979 😂
@@NORTAH85 my old car from back in those Days had power steering had power brakes AC nice car
Should have left the pop up headlights
Agree!✌😎🏴☠️
Should have left the pop up headlights
I think it’s missing the bumper
Wow, 23k for a 66 vette. You robbed that old man, should have just gave him the 25k because the car is worth so much more.
He bought a chassis. The interior was junk. He bought it without knowing if it even ran. You should never go in to business.
Rosco it was probably worth 35 to 40 easily.
Count was thinking how much he would invest in the car. Bodywork, new engine and other mechanicals. His cost probably turned into 32K and he probably sold it for 50K. He could have saved cost and offered the original owner more if he wasn't going to do the custom work and just stuck with making it stock.
That was a steal....I've seen.much worse go for much more. He should have gotten his asking price
He shorted him some cause this is after all a business. But the condition of this car means it wasn't worth barely half what it would of been. But it also means you can fix it and have enough room to make it worth while. I'd love to drop 60k on that tho.
You did that old man justice. Kept it amazing
Old guy is such an awesome soul🤘🏼
Removing the bumper and changing the headlights - destroyed the car! I normally love his cars, but I can't get behind this one.
Right?! I hate the front end! RUINED!
Totally agree.
hideous headlights.
I agree with you about the bumper but the headlights are perfect Chevy made cars with these headlights for racing.
I agree too. Plus removing the factory gauges...
I'm about to cry. Absolutely beautiful!
Getting rid of the front bumper was a mistake IMO
And the pop ups tbh imo they look better they create a sleeker design
The headlights ruin the car ☹️
It's back to original, looks wise.
No I love how Danny done the car love it
I can get behind the headlights, but you're right about the bumper.
Great job Danny! You are a true gentleman! Helping the gentleman to save his house! And then made the vet a more of a beauty! My hat off to you!
That's the first car i felt terrible to see anything get changed on it
Ya they did it dirty with that front end and headlights.. looked so much better with original stinger front end
feeling the same, it seemed 100% original, even the engine...and now...well...not so great to me..
Not a fan of the front end, but what a great color! Diggin it
Ye they kinda f'ed up the front.
FRONT END IS COMPLETE HATCHET JOB. THOSE FLIP LIGHTS AE WORTH THOUSANDS WITH ALL ACTUATING PARTS. REALLY DUMB TO TAKE OFF. HE PROBABLY SOLD THEM, POCKETED CASH ALONG WITH BUMPER, GRILL, ETC. AND THE STANCE IS HORRIBLE
@@michael2305 Was the front end already wrecked ?
Wonder what the cost of the original restore parts would have been?
No telling what may have been screwed up.
I get the point tho on an original antique car
Have to say tho,he sold me on the new head light set up,as long as eye cus git spare parts and all.
@@PostUp_Time Totally agree
Never ever change a 66 Corvette. Worth much much more original.
When he said he wants to help the old man, I thought he might offer 30k. The car with rework is worth 60k+
He's been hanging out with Rick from Pawn Stars for too long, lol. I knew he'd lowball the guy, while calling it "help."
@@DeathBringer769 not just anyone is in the market for 60,000 $ tho so he needed money allegedly his loss for not being able to take care of himself
Now that's a slick ride right there. A car to kill for.
I wish this fantastic gentlman to keep his house and be happy.
One of my absolute favorite years for Corvette.
Dude that Vette is gorgeous! Good on you Count ! Glad you could help the fella :)
I love the way he covers his forehead
Trying to low ball an already great deal smh
Not to mention the poor guy needed the money for his house :(
That's why I love you..u respect people..u earned it
This was such a perfect outcome and couldn't of ended with a better person stopping by!
OMG, I didn't think it was possible but I do believe I'm in LOVE! That is one beautiful redhead!
this guys dedication to wear that rag on his head and literally never ever reveal your bald head is mind boggling...the car is pretty cool though
Jesus give him the 25g.
Rampage this a business deal, not charity.
@@branzilla7833 They walked on his property uninvited. Pay what he's asking. Exactly not a charity pony up the $ or walk away.
Simple answer they're there just to get his car out of his driveway and never be seen again by him
Love it, less is more, subtle touches making it beautiful and unique
Indeed. Thanks for posting and sharing. Count😇💛😎🤲🙏🙌🤗🌍🤍❤️🕊️✌️
Always prefer seeing iconic cars being restored to their original look (especially the headlights & front bumper in this case). The work done on the car is great but something about it feels wrong
Right. Without the bumpers it looks like a teethless mouth in a way
Yeah. It looks nice Og I don’t like what they did to the headlights
The headlights, went away with the pop up and the customs. They look sleeker
I agree. It looks dumb with no front bumper and the ridiculous headlights. If I were the buyer, I would have Count's Kustoms put the bumper back on and fix the headlights back to stock.
what a cool old guy
That was a win-win situation for both of them great video I love it
Oh my god. What a gorgeous looking car
He helped this man.
Huge welldone.
And a excellent car.
Respect. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👌🏻
... good episode start to finish - good pick - good fix - good deal ..... everyone has their own ideas and opinions.
Mine sticks with the shop - slight mods work - 66 mild custom works and always will.
The light swap works since they didnt go crazy with paint n graphic chit ... interiors nicely done in the only color that does work ... engine swap works and of course the pipes n' wheels work - (no frickin 20" gettos) ... wouldnt change a thing - pamper it and drive it - one of those u hear comin' before sight - then all eyes follow til outtasight - my kind of ride.
Guess you can call me a purest, deleting the head lights took all the "sting" out of the Stingray.
3:56 old man showed that he's John Wick. The dog and the car 💀
Yeah you're just an angel doing everybody favors aren't you
Great job Danny this 66 Corvette now looks meaner than before no bumper looks great new headlights, new side pipes and a new 383 stroker engine.
Cool Danny's back haven't seen him in so log he knows his cars!
SERIOUSLY .......HE TALKED HIM DOWN FROM JUST $25k???!!!!!
There are lots of those cars in US which are owned by people who doesn't care or even ride it.
Here we drive cars, not ride them. Lol!
And said he was helping him 😳
Yeah, that was real sad. Poor old guy having to choose between his beloved car or a roof over his head. And Danny right there to "put the screws to him" while he was hurting for money. I know it wasn't a gun to his head but I felt so bad for him. Shoulda paid him a bit more for it. I thought $25,000 was a more than fair price for how little that vette actually needed.
@@Ark-uu8ji this isn’t a charity, he sold the car for what it was worth. Plus all these peoples get some $$ for showing on the camera.
Most beautiful GTO I have ever seen superb work
This guy is a maestro with car restros 👏👏👏✌️
Man, these guys are awesome. 🤩
One of the best cars to ever leave count customs, its clean man, my style.
lukas Van Der Westhuizen, most end up looking hideous and stupid
I wouldn't be surprised if this show is about as real as pawn stars, or any other "reality" show...
You are correct! The show's fake!
To change the front like that and to put sidepipes, should be a crime
I was just thinking that those head light are look awful!
Danny, been to your shop 2x, love the cars you have on display. If in Vegas, it's a must-see place!!!
I agree it's a great place to visit
Best wishes for Ricky and his home. ⭐
My favourite show on History channel
I would have taken it for 25k. Its totally worth it. Quoting 18k for that car is kind of disrespectful.
And then he had the gall to call that lowball offer "helping a guy out of a jam" lol. He's been hanging out with lowball Rick from Pawn Stars for too long.
That corvette is flawless
The 92 corolla pretty nice in white
I love those L88 headlights
Ok, so there is the mention of the wing windows! Finally. Thanks Danny.
Absolutely awesome
So did anyone else get rock hard when he drove that outta the garage... lol beautiful
A Maroon 66 convertible 4 speed vette is what I look for everyday!
i love the way danny speaks.
Headlights killed it
Hi guys, You guys knocked that 66 Corvette out of the park. What a wonderful & tasteful makeover
on it. Minimal is more sometimes, you guys did it just right. Hope to get back out to see you guys
again, it's been five years since I was at your place. Be safe, be careful but have fun. See Ya's.
1:51 now THAT is a number... 420!
What a good guy & he is clever
Awesome indeed 🙏😇😎🙂💛🤍✌️❤️🌍☮️😎
I myself have never liked those clear lights and a stingray but I have to admit they still look cool!
Dammmm that car looks sick!!!! good job on the designing 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You ruined it with the headlights ugh
Brilliant Danny am from England 🏴 love Carrie s so many miles
that truck is beautiful
That's one cool Vette ! Greg is a real guy and disserves much respect . What I would like to see is some 33's go through Danny on You Tube !
Headlights Blow!
I watched it several times I love that vet
I own one impala 1980 and love it
You guy's did real good on this one Danny, real good!
Counting Cars- love it!
You guys are all right with a good eye for quality cars.
25K, a steal and Danny knows it.
so stupid, these can go for $40 up in that condition right?
Beautiful
Beautiful job,amazing
That's a piece of art 🏁
Hey cool to see Picnic blanket head is back at it again
Awesome thanks guys for the share 🇺🇸💯
"Ricky Toyota" hahaha i love the old guy
Absolutely love love love this episode
A work of art man,so beautiful in every way,if i win the lotto, correction, when i win im over to the count for something similar, awesome, simply
it’s great and all but the new headlights are ugly 🤢especially with how clear they are. looks like chunks are missing from the bumper
He says he has a chance to help him. I thought he was going to give him 30k. No, lowballs him at 18k. Nice guy.
RIGHT?
I at least thought he was gonna be like okay 25 you got a deal
"I CaN HeLp HiM oUt 🥴"
You fly an American flag but you think like a socialist.
I figured he would have gave him extra knowing the guys story. Starts off low balling him? Like cmon
He's been hanging out with lowball Rick from Pawn Stars too much, lol. I figured he'd lowball him. I didn't think he'd have the audacity to call it "help a guy out of a jam" though.
When you go to car showroom and the salesman tells you a emotional story will you pay 12grand more if yes then call others for low balling
Awesome truck
Beautiful car..
Favorite Corvette type
The car was cheap at $25,000 I thought he was going give more then asking
me too. WTF Danny is a crook my God.
Old classic cars are valuable but no more valuable than a new truck if damaged. That 66 sting ray can probably go for 40ish grand after they were done with it. We have a 1980 stingray Corvette and its valued at only around 30 grand with no damage
Same here. When he said he wants to help the old man, I thought he might offer 30k. The car with rework is worth 60k+
@@wrightvcx2249 mind blowing what he offered him. I pay 70 grand restored for that car done perfect.
@@christiangarza449 The 1980 Corvette isn't worth $30k lol.
That 66 gives me wood. I have owned two 66 GTOs, a 66 Porsche and a 66 Chevelle. But I would love to own a 66 corvette.
man you should’ve gave him 50k for that and to help him. I would’ve if I had the money on G.
**wait, wait, wait..for a deal that I'm dying for, will I wait till tomorrow?..NO WAY JOSE..
THIS DEAL
IS VERY WELL ACTED..
