It episode 4 not 3
I love the implied friendship between Shannon and Claire in this episode. We didn't see it but Claire obviously confided in Shannon after she found the bottle and then they both decided to tell Sun. It's just a little reminder that life and relationships go on away from all the drama at the hatch, even if we're not privy to them.
Locke lecturing Hurley about how everyone has responsibilities seems a tad hypocritical when you consider his past behavior.
Hurley's mom is hilarious. She isn't in many episodes, but I always enjoy her when she makes an appearance.
The actress is also in the Chupacabra episode of X-Files along with Tuco (from Breaking Bad).
I think distributing all the food and having a celebration was the right call by Hurley. They've made it this long on the island without it and it wouldn't last long rationed between 40 people anyways. This way, people can choose to save something for later if they want and they get to have a nice night without building up resentment over who gets what.
I also love the moment we realize Bernard is Rose's husband. Even though we know little to nothing about the couple, it's really nice to see that Rose's faith he is alive paid off.
His face was beautiful there. And the expressions of Sawyer and Michael were fantastic.
What a great ending to an episode. Some of them are so intense it's nice to have one every now and then where you can leave it with a smile.
You held it together better than me when Bernard showed up. I cried lmao
Hurley episodes kinda heal our hearts. And, for me, his absurd, hilarious mom is a part of that.
Fun fact, it was around this time in the show that the Creators started running REAL Ads during Lost Blocks on TV about in Universe Items, such as the Apollo Bars, and in those Commercials, held optional clues to put together the story a little quicker than the show will get to it. It honestly one of the coolest things to have seen live as it was happening, imagine, "lol Apollo Bars, funny fake candy... wait why am I getting an advertisement for Apollo Bars... AND DHARMA IS HERE TOO WTF"
This also included in universe stuff like Oceanic Flight Commercials too, which was also fun to see
I know it's hard to tell, but Hurley's boss is Randy, the same boss as Locke at the box company
I love the ending to this one. Don't get me wrong, I love the cliffhangers but it's nice to get a sweet, heart-warming ending once in a while.
The drugs on the plane are a test for Charlie and this food is a test for Hurley😅
Did you catch Walt on the milk carton Hurley drank from in the dream? 🕵🏼
Also… did you recognize Randy, Hurley’s boss? Perhaps he was someone else’s douchey boss too 👀
@@Ely88Keys Now i do!!!
This was a tough one for me to wait for, I didn’t want to watch this until I could pick up a 2-piece from my favorite fried chicken place.
Forgot to get the ranch dressing.
Hurley episodes are always awesome. The ending with Bernard gets me every time.
Have a cluckety cluck cluck day, Elie.
Hey brotha! I wanted to let you know that I got to LAX late from an east to west coast flight last night and after two hours later of getting my rental car and getting into my Airbnb, I had a second wind and your ep. 3 reaction was there waiting for me. I finally crashed before I could comment on that video, but thanks for keeping up the upload schedule, it was just what I needed as I came down from a wild travel day.
@@Narte Letsgooooooooo chilll watch and rest up!!!
Hey I'm early for once! Loving your LOST journey! ❤️
One of the things to remember while you’re watching is that when this show aired back in the day, nobody not even the CREATORS knew there was 6 seasons.
The show was enjoyed by all as something which just keeps going until we are told where and when the final season is reached.
So your point and critical eye about “okay we have 6 seasons how do they occupy that runtime?” it’s a valid question but I guess I wouldn’t let it sit at the front of your mind so much - the journey was partly incredible as we had no clue of a timeline and to us it just felt like one long movie that we didn’t want to stop watching. Maybe it’ll be all the more enjoyable if you “forget” the fact you know there are “x” number of episodes. Of course you can’t unknow what you know but still maybe not reminding yourself all the time will add to the magic of the experience.
But yes of course I’m here to watch how you react not how I advise you to react. But just thought I’d mention that that’s an interesting factor for you to think on. Everyone watching back in the day saw the show could be over in one season or so, so we all were not wondering oh how can they drag it out? We were more thinking how can they wrap this all up sooner and not drag it out too long? We all were just wanting it to keep the great energy pace and keep developing its plotlines, that was the most of our concern.
I love watching someone reacting in the way you are as it creates new kinds of critical questions like the one you keep mentioning but yes it’s just cool to think that everyone else back in the day we watched it like one long movie with no clue where it would end.
It so added to the immersion. Maybe watching it like that will make it all the more enjoyable?
Yeah, but keep doing what you’re doing man. Just thought I’d add that detail and how it completely enhanced our experience.
Great reaction again as always!
Did you notice...? Well, you'll watch better on the second viewing. 🤣🤣
Locke: "I'm sorry, Hugo, you don't get to quit."
If I were Hurley, I would have answered "Don't tell me what I can't do." 😁
I loved the DJ Qualls cameo in this episode!
He's just a love machine...
Elie, just thought you'd like to know: the title line still says Episode 3. The thumbnail is correct with Episode 4.
I hope I'll find somebody I can be so happy, safe and comfortable with just like Rose is with Bernard 💕🙏🌷
Hurley can't keep a secret to save his life lol
Jelly's! The record store Hugo and his friend are browsing in was a long-time used record store/comic book store on Oahu that my dad used to take me to all the time. The store moved around a few times before it finally closed. I think this isn't the original spot, but I had been in this one once or twice.
Ya gotta love ol’ Daddy Moses here, all of 24, worried about Charlie holding the baby near slippery rocks.
Danielle Rousseau also asked if anyone was "infected" and said that her crew got "sick" 🤔 For Charlie, I honestly think that's just his character. He can be a bit all over the place hahaha. I think that if he was using they would show it since it's a main thing with his character.
Hurley’s friend from the fast food place was the same actor who played the undercover police officer pretending to buy drugs from Badger in breakin bad.
Rose's husband looks shady, like he could be the head of an evil law firm in LA who eventually gets killed in a wine cellar by the creatures he brought in to do his bidding.
Wasn't he on LA Law?
The Hobbit stomach 😂
It's hard to relate to Hurley's flashbacks this episode. If I get $70 million dollars or whatever the original amount was before he doubled it, I wouldn't mind losing a couple friends who couldn't handle it.
Yeah, but you want to make sure who your friends are, before the news comes out. Anyone after that, they'll be sus
Did you notice who's pic is on a milk?
@@juliet_burke Now i do!!!!
My hatred of Ana Lucia was instant. Right from the start she's annoying and obnoxious. Plus Michele Rodriguez is a terrible actress.
