There was originally going to be a scene at the beginning where the heroes held a funeral for Gazerbeam and the others killed by Syndrome in the first movie. It was unfortunately cut for time, but a rough animatic can be found online. I really wish they'd kept it in.
There was also a scene showing Honey hiding Frozone's supersuit when the underminer shows up, but they cut it because they liked the mystery of not knowing what Honey looked like
@jordanwolfson8378 right?! That would've been such a good scene to add. But nooo, we absolutely need a fight scene between Jack Jack and a raccoon. Sure it's a fun scene, but it doesn't feel necessary when they already had several scenes of Jack Jack showing off his powers and the family's reactions to it all.
@DanGamingFan408 And the scene probably was also cut because who else would’ve attended the funeral? Winston and Evelyn. The film made it look like Evelyn didn’t know about Gazerbeam’s death or that it was Syndrome who caused his death. That knowledge of his death should’ve made her not go on that villainous path. Then again, would the knowledge change anything?
The driver who says "You're my biggest fan" is voiced by Usher. Also, remember that Jack-Jack doesn't like the glasses because he saw the movie with the robber villain in the bandit mask (which is also why he started fighting the raccoon).
also he saw his mom take them off and crush them with her shoe and then immediately went after another pair. But i think the first time was because he couldn't see his mother's eyes.
So there's an interesting theory out there that during the restaurant scene in the monsters inc movie when someone says to a reporter "the child was flying around blasting stuff with its laser vision", that was actually jack jack who briefly teleported into the monsters dimension at that moment. I mean that description makes absolutely no sense for boo in that movie, but we literally see jack jack doing all those things here and we know he can teleport into dimensions and return
@@christianaguiare544 maybe it isn't jack-jack...he's not the only child who is a super, there could be a large number and the myths about human children in the Monsters Inc universe comes from them encountering supers kids
Another reason they didn’t want Mr. Incredible leading the project is because he’s the main reason Supers were made illegal to begin with. That’s literally how the first movie opened.
Yeah. He saved a man who didn't want to be saved, causing him to sue Mr Incredible. And the train situation didn't help his case. He must have been hated in the superhero community.
@Hsple0 He might also feel a little guilty, since most of them probably also wished to relive the old days of being a superhero, and the the fact that they all died cause some fanboy was butt hurt.
A small detail I love about these movies is that confidence and creativity are major factors in utilizing your powers to their fullest extent. They hinted at it with Violet failing to make a large enough force field in the first movie, but they also show it here with Voyd. When she's herself, she's clearly very nervous and insecure about proving herself in front of her hero, so she makes a lot of clumsy mistakes. But when she's being hypnotized by Evelyn, she uses her portal powers EXTREMELY competently and in ways we don't see once she's back to normal.
My headcannon is that Jackjack keeps his powers, but chooses to follow in Auntie Edna's footsteps of becoming a designer! The fact that he can stress test the fabrics himself is a plus! I also like the idea that, some 20ish years in the future, some crook supers try to rob a fashion show, only for the guest judge Jackjack to trounce ALL of them, without even creasing his suit!
In all fairness to Mr. Incredible, he never says "Women should stay at home and I'm the man so I should be out working." It's just that he really wants to be a superhero again and right now he can't be. He wants to be the one taking care of the family not because of gender roles but because he feels that's his responsibility. I'm honestly shocked that Disney didn't try to pull that stunt in this day and age
@@tannerfromhighschool9731bit late but I think it's about intention. He's not saying he wants his wife to be at home because she's a woman it's because he want to be out there too, preferably with his wife.
@@tannerfromhighschool9731but he doesn't even necessarily want her home, he just REALLY wants to be out there, doesn't mean how he's behaving was ok but I think it was more just jealousy that he couldn't go do all the cool stuff he'd missed so much and also the struggles of being a stay at home dad
1:08:42 Remember that Elastigirl is a trained pilot, she absolutely knows about hypoxia and was trained to do specific things in such situations. She only pretended to be absolutely clueless.
Also i will give bob credit imagine getting to live your dream WITH your family only to be told "no only your wife". He handled it the best he could and even Helen understands his personality to see he's being genuine. They love each other and it has been a hard day for him.
You must remember Bob is the reason supers were made illegal. So it makes sense their not starting with him. Bobs feelings are understandable but his behavior with Helen is still not good
@@tannerfromhighschool9731 But Helen saw him attempting to encourage her to go for it and openly cringed while amused at his attempts. That's a clear sign that in their marriage, despite being a flawed attempt, Helen can tell 100% Bob is being sincere and not just the bitter fake husband that overly negative critics make him out to be.
@@tannerfromhighschool9731well yeah it makes sense, which is why he conceded. But we spent a whole movie showing how out of place he feels when he’s not allowed to be a Super Hero - it’s what he’s good at. Imagine being amazing at something, and loving doing it, and then suddenly not being allowed to do it because one time you saved a guy who turned around and ruined your life to make cash off of you. It makes sense he’s bitter about it, and you can’t help how you feel. Feeling jealous when Helen is given the go ahead before him is natural…. Buuuut he was still supportive of her and encouraged her to go do it. Sure it was SORT of because he wanted the chance to get back into action himself, but she also WANTED to but held back because of her responsibilities, and ultimately he agreed to take the more tedious job that he struggled to settle down into so she could go and do it.
@tannerfromhighschool9731 people keep pointing to the first movie but everyone needs to remember that attempting to commit suicide is illegal specifically so measures taken to stop it are allowed such as entering a premises without a warrant. The injuries acquired are less than death so should be considered a net positive. Also the collateral damage argument? I argue that Bomb Voaiage caused more than Bob did. Sstdid underminer when digging up through that parking lot he destroyed the infrastructure and many peoples cars. All Bob really caused was a bit of damage to city hall and some damage to a couple of buildings that probably amounted to less than Underminer did simply digging under and through the city.
@@LXW-ArtsThe first movie was primarily focused on Bob, and mostly from Bobs’ perspective, while also making sure his family didn’t feel too side-character. This movies’ focus is primarily Helen, while Bob takes a bit of a backseat this time, and still not making the family feel too pushed in the background. No one has forgotten Elasticgirls scenes, they’re arguably some of the most memorable scenes in the movie.
The moment they mentioned the last name for the brother I was trying to figure out what the first word was code for or implying😅 Clicked right away after hearing her name.
Wow. Even I do not know how I missed that until literally right now…. And I saw this movie in theaters, in 3-D and in the original strobe light effects!
Bob IS proud and happy for his wife, but he desperately wants to be back on the field too and THAT is what hes having issues with repressing to let his wife have her time in the spotlight.
@@piusdoe8984 He's shown TRYING to hold back his own desire to be the one out being a hero, but never once does it imply he's not happy or proud of his wife. I see why people think that's the case but putting more thought into it makes that not make sense.
There’s something I don’t think gets talk about enough. Every superhero had to go into hiding, but only one of them had to deal with the fact that he was basically responsible for superheroes being made illegal. It all started with Mr. Incredible saving one guy who didn’t want to be saved. So Bob not only misses the action but he probably feels guilty for putting all his friends out of work. Which also means he probably feels guilty for Gazerbeam and all the other heroes Syndrome killed.
Not only would he feel guilty about that but Syndrome is literally the kid Mr. Incredible basically told to f*** off so he probably also thinks that he created the villain who killed all of his friends too.
Love the little detail of Frozone giving Elastigirl a supportive little punch on the shoulder when Winston says she should take the lead. Not a moment of hesitation.
There was a theory going on when the movie first came out that the house the Incredibles lived in, the one that Winston loaned to them, once belonged to Syndrome -- because of the whole "belonged to an eccentric billionaire who liked to come and go as he please without being seen" thing, it might be a stretch but personally, I'd like to believe it could be
@Shadic0699 he was a weapons designer for the government, most likely, given he boasted of it in film one. However, we don't often see the military use them, so which government is hard to tell

Brad Bird actually really didn’t want to make a sequel. He loves sequels but felt it might cheapen the story if it had sequels for the sake of sequels rather than a story. It took 10+ years before he caved
It’s funny how in the first Incredibles all the heroes had to go into to hiding, so I’m wondering how the giant fucking owl man was able to live a normal life at all
As an actual attempt to guess. Apart from doing some low type of job like a circus freak(no offense to people who did that) I would think he would become what would be considered back then, a burden to his family. Similar to disabled people, if he was lucky he would have family essentially care for him. He would not be able to go to work or be in public. So his family would support him. Maybe he chose to be a stay at home type, cleaning and minding household stuff. Doing what he can for his family while he hid from the world.
I agree. Yeah he might’ve been jealous but he even said he has to be better so Helen can do better. Being a stay at home parent was a new experience for him and Helen never had to deal with Jack Jack’s powers on top of that. He grew to love the experience of bonding with his kids anyway and supported Helen.
Because he's Mr. Incredible like he said. Gave himself the best name because he thought he had the greatest power and thought he can handle everything life throws at him.
@@moviemakr3938 The first movie literally showed him stopping a car chase while saving a cat, stopped a man from commiting suicide, stopped bomb voyage, saved buddy from a bomb, stopped a train, ALL IN ONE AFTERNOON BEFORE HIS WEDDING. Like cmon give him credit where it's due, he's actually incredible
I’m actually hoping he’s the villain of the likely inevitable 3rd movie because Bob and Helen caudal too much so he grows up entitled. Age everyone up 10-15 years, have the parents TRY to stop him but can’t, leaving it to Dash and Violet who succeed. I think that’s a really good way to extend this world.
Before this movie even came out I remember so many of us figuring out Evelyn Deavor, was the twist villain because her name is literally “Evil Endeavor”

I imagine many of us thought eh Underminer would be a one-off villain they defeat off screen but no he actually gets away with it and made it worse for the Supers to do any work. I also didn’t expect a sequel to pick up exactly where the first movie picked off. 😅
Something interesting about Bob being jealous of Helen, when she rescued everybody by stopping the train, she got cheered for it, while when Bob did it heroes went illegal and everybody blamed him for their injuries so...
Yup, Bob stops a train, Supers become illegal and a supervillian that killed some of his closest friends comes to power. Helen stops a train and is cheered on and becomes one of the reasons Supers can start being public again.
i love how everyones name (at least the kids) are a representation of their powers: "mr. fantastic (strongman), elastigirl (is elastic), violet (becomes invisible like ultraviolet light), dash (fast boy), Jack-jack (jack of ALL trades, aka has a lot of powers). i love that little easter egg
You guys are way too hard on Mr. incredible. This is a guy who has been struggling for the last 15 years having to hide the core piece of his identity and then in a span of less than 6 months he got to experience being a hero again, only to have it immediately ripped away. Not only that but he was THE Superhero in his era. To suddenly get told that you aren’t wanted after thinking you were finally going to be able to come out of the shadows is just a gut punch.

I actually prefer the design of Jack Jack’s demon form in the first movie than in this one. It looks more menacing and the purple coloring in the second one always seemed off to me.
I get where Bob is coming from. He stops a train and unfortunately there are numerous casualties leading to supers being outlawed. Helen saves a train with no casualties, wins back public trust in supers. Bobs getting flashbacks just from a phone call.
I can see where Evelyn's coming from, but her plan makes no sense. She didn't really *need* to do anything to achieve her goal. Supers were already illegal, and her actions reversed that. The exact opposite of what she wanted. It's not well thought out at all. This movie definitely needed more time to go through another draft.
Ok so I wanted to make this clear. I think her plan DOES make sense. Her brother’s efforts were to restore faith in supers to make them legal again, but she didn’t want that and needed people to completely lose faith in them regardless of their protection. If she sat back her brother would simply go ahead with his plan to reignite the trust in heroes and legalize them and had the resources to do so no issue. So she stepped in to sabotage the effort by gaining their trust to bring them out, and then moved to publicly humiliate them by terrifying the public with them when she had them under her control. Where I think she lacks is her backstory. What would’ve strengthened her motivation is if her father inspired by the cartoons of their youth went to fight the robbers himself. And her brother thinks similarly. If that were the case, she would have much more justifiable anger at the heroes impact on the public and give rise to her screenslaver persona which is anti screens and how the public believes everything they see on screen. She has clearly argued many times with her brother over this subject and her desperation to suppress his trust would check. Did it need a better explanation and need a BIT more elaboration? Yes. But VERY little about her needed to change.
Her brother is my only guess, or else she wouldn't have done this. He probably came up to her with the idea of making Heroes legal again and she would rather have them seen as villains and terrorists than anything else. So she manipulated his idea of having them seen as heroes, let him make them legal again, then mind control them and make them unredeemable therefore proving her point. It makes sense. They'd definitely never recover again.
I think it's because her brother would have made it happen even without her. Also, the reason supers were illegal was because they caused more problems, but if she shows them becoming not just a problem but a threat, that's worse for the heroes.
Yeah, I think it wouldve be better if the movie started with the public opinion of supers changing to the point of almost de-criminalicing it. That way her plan wouldve made more sence. Mask herself as part of an organization that wants that to happend, but also creating a villan (specially one that targets the common people) that would make it seem like a bad idea. The screenslaver wouldve work much better if it showcased more the fact that most of the time, just by existing, superheros justify the existence of supervillains.
Gazerbeam wasn’t dead when he was called, he died not too long before Mr Incredible was called to fight the omnidroid the first time. Syndrome had to have time to build his company by the time he killed his first hero and he went through dozens improving the omnidroid, leading up to Gazerbeam. Gazerbeam simply didn’t answer his hotline because he wasn’t allowed to be a super hero. The death of Winston’s father probably tore him up inside
things i love about this movie are: there was a cut scene in the intro that would have depicted a memorial service for the heroes killed by syndrome in the first movie, focusing mostly on Gazerbeam. In it, it's revealed that Mr Incredible, along with Frozone, introduced Gazerbeam to the superhero life almost as their protige, and that bob came up with the name Gazerbeam himself. The scene was cut for time, but you can still find rough drafts of it on youtube and i highly recommend watching them. bob is refused the opportunity to bring heroes back because he was literally the person that caused supers to become illegal in the first place (on top of him bulldozing everything in his path) faced with the threat ofmind-controlled supers, frozone brings the incredibile, a cold computer that can't be fooled by mind control liek bob was, to rescue the kids. jack-jack's powers coincide with what it's like to have a baby
The only weird trivia I have about this movie is that on release, they had to give a warning about flashing lights on the mind control scenes, because it could trigger epileptic events. I believe they fixed it in theaters after a few weeks and it was fixed on DVD release. It's funny how the first movie opened with Elastigirl saying something like, leave saving the world to the men? I don't think so. Then the second movie's A plot was basically that.
I saw this movie opening weekend before the flashing lights warning was made a thing , and while I’m not epileptic, I do suffer from frequent migraines. So while I absolutely loved this movie, my head was hurting so bad when I left the theater. And yeah, that second part is interesting, but it really makes me wonder what they’re going to do with the third one
so I think that this supposed new superpower of violet that is shown in the beginning of the movies to destroy falling down debris is actually her force field powers she just used her force field as a projectile
I love that considering every pixar movie is linked together in some way, if you rememebr the first short with the babysitter and jack-jack disappears to another dimension - link that with what happened to the monsters in town with Monsters Inc. and you get the link!
Yeah, gotta feel bad for him. Any man forced to be a stay at home dad while his wife is not only the bread winner, but also living out his dream is just pitiful.
The dementia 113 is actually an Easter Egg. If you see on the right side the A is black to separate it from the other letters. The studio always puts A-113 somewhere in their movies as it’s a reference to a classroom at California Institute of the Arts. In the first movie the secretary told Mr Incredible to wait for the boss in room A113
I Especially like this movie for elastagirl because she’s the definition of flexible, being able to do multiple things at once having multiple hats as a mother with multiple kids, a super hero handling things delicately under pressure, flying a plane, riding a bike etc.
Bob is taking alot of shit but you have to remember that Bob worked a soul sucking job for 15 years to support his family. A job I might add that actively went out of its way to hurt people which goes against everything he stands for. You can't ask a guy who lives and breaths being a superhero to be happy when they are told they aren't the best option to bring back superheroes. Yes, Bob need to get over it but its a process. Its also not like he isn't happy for his wife but its still painful to see her do everything he dreams about. Helen made her peace with never being a superhero again so of course she can move on but Bob never did.
@@LXW-Arts Yeah I always love that switch of in the beginning of the first movie. While I think Elastagirl was being sincere about her desire to keep fighting crime. I think Bob was kind of talking out of his ass to make himself sound more relatable.
But it's worth the argument to say that maybe she didn't really male her peace with it but was just expected to be a mom so she set it aside not really letting go of that want because you can see the vibrancy when she gets to get back out and be a superhero once more
@@mork4971 That is making your peace with it. She made a conscious decision to give up the hero life for her family. She could be doing the same thing Bob is doing. Being an auto pilot parent just pining for the glory days. Instead, she made a choice to move on to the next stage of her life. Bob feels more like the choice to move on was made for him (which it was by the government and having kids). Obviously he loves his family and took on a shit job to take care of them but at the end of the day all he wants is to be a hero again. Helen is living in the here and now while Bob is still living in the past. Helen said it best "Bob! This, our family is happening right now." Those are the words of someone who has accepted and embraced her life.
I know this is kinda random, but Jack-Jack's powers remind me of the polymorph powers in Divinity Original Sin 2. As well as the "Apotheosis" skill. I don't know if Jack-Jack would really be considered a polymorph, though.
The true villain of this movie is the guy who sued them in the first movie. The supers would've never been illegal all because he stop him from committing suicide
@mirandamartin4001 Basically, I'm saying if he didn't try to commit suicide Mr. incredible would've never found bomb Vonage and incred boy wouldn't have the bomb on him that fell on the track
This movie was fun but it’s main issue is how it backtracks on a lot of the character development from the first movie and rehashes a lot of the same plot points.
Jack-Jack is freaking OP. Legit just think about it, what if, and im just spit balling here, what if when he grows up and can properly control his powers to the pooint where he tcan split into 16 different Jack-Jacks, and each one of them can use the other 16 powers??? Suddenly youve got JJ Colossus, JJ Antman, JJ BIG Antman, JJ Humn Torch, JJ Shadowcat, JJ Ben-10, JJ Electro, JJ Mystique, JJ Beastboy.... like dude can protect a whole city all on his own!
You guys need to cut Bob some slack. Super business was his dream and now he’s been pushed back on the sidelines again for the good of his family. His kids are driving him to sleep deprivation so I don’t think it’s fair to call him selfish at all
Calling someone who’s acting selfish, selfish is absolutely fair. That being said everything you also said is valid, that doesn’t change the fact that he was acting selfish
Something that's always funny to me is how the Pixar sequel that had the longest wait time since the original was the only one that literally picks up where the first one left off lol.
I think that Evelyn's plan would make more sense if she wanted to kill all Supers instead of wanting to keep them illegal. Hopefully "Incredibles 3" does the franchise justice.
I feel like after being rushed by Disney brad wouldn't have accepted it without pre-planning for potential cuts unless he was under contract with making TWO sequels for them.

Y'all keep giving Bob crap for "being selfish" and not being happy about Helen getting the opportunity to do this, but, it's fully understandable because not only does he not get the chance to actually do what he wanted to do for years, but also has to deal with not only having to deal with having to take care of the kids, and having to deal with taking care of a kid who keeps getting new powers that can quite possibly unalive him and the others. He also has to deal with the fact that one if the people who keot telling to stop trying to be a hero for years gets the chance to be a hero in the public's eyes. Also, he's obviously trying to be better/good at supporting her despite how hard it is for him. Also, I have a theory that government secretly sey uo everything to make the supers stop being supers because if you think about it, it makes no sense that some random dude was able to even sue a super if they had the government backing them, let alone win a case against a super period. It also makes mo sense for others to be able to not only sue, but also win against the other supers besides Mr. Incredible.
Well I've heard this discussion before about how much better elastigirl is than Mr incredible he is all about the brute strength she is more about the finesse because she can't just go in there full bore she has to be a little bit more tactical which is why her approach is a lot softer touch than his is
Everyone finds out Jack-Jack has powers Laser eyes, multiplying, floating in air, copying, Combustion as in fire to cool him down foam, demon, and going through walls. 1:05:24 Gee I thought he would want the Cookie num num even if he's big.
Alright there is often a bit of a divide in how this movie was received. I think it’s VERY close in quality to the 1st but did have a misstep everyone knows to criticize. That’s the villain. People will say her plan is the issue. Heroes are illegal, why make them MORE illegal? Well I think that’s oversimplifying her to the point of her no longer making sense. Her brother had ALREADY begun to campaign the return of supers, and with the omnidroid incident was going to be a shoe in he was going to succeed because the heroes were more successful than the freaking military. So their need had returned to public view. Her brother wanted people to see them in action more properly, and asked his sister to make the cameras and recordings to make that possible. But SHE doesn’t trust heroes OR want people to at ALL. That trust cost them their father. But if she declined to help, he would simply ask someone else. So she instead agreed to sabotage their return and make the public NOT trust them to derail their momentum back into the spotlight by internationally humiliating them. This FULLY checks. But if you wanted to improve her because she IS the only weak point of the movie, is change her backstory. Her father INSTEAD of calling for the heroes, would be inspired by the cartoons of the heroes to go fight the robbers costing him his life, but succeeds in saving their mom as a result. She would see his efforts as a waste of his life while her brother says he died a hero just like the cartoons and is inspired to think similarly. THIS would tie in the screen slaver persona. This change is minor but makes a BIG difference. That is ALL that needs to be changed and I say it rivals the 1st movie WAY more soundly. The family, heroes, fights, imagination, JACK-JACK are next to flawlessly executed and I love ALL of it. If/when there is inevitably a 3rd movie, I’d love to see Jack-Jack be the villain. Age everyone up, and because he has EVERY power, he grows up entitled and can always get his way using his powers. Making the parents TRY to save him but instead Dash and Violet are the main ones that win the day because THEY didn’t caudal him like his parents would need to for him to BE a villain.
1:16:15 ,When i was scrolling through UA-cam.Someone had an idea where there is a villan who can copy powers, so they try to keep jack jack away from the villan 😊
The reason it took so long is bc A. it's an animated movie, and it takes years to just animate all the models. B. the actors may have committed themselves to other projects, and until they were free of those obligations, they wouldn't be able to record the voice lines.
Actually the main reason is that Pixar wanted to avoid doing sequels for the longest time but because of the success of Toy Story 3 they backtracked on that idea
Let’s gooooooooooo the incredibles 2 yesssssss I love this movie but my all time favorite is part 1 my favorite scene from part 1 will always be honey where’s my super suit 😂 and this is how you start my day love the content too and vids

Basically it’s Mr. Incredible and Frozone (actual voice actors) watching a kids “cartoon” with them as the heroes and Frozone is not having it. It was a bonus feature on the first movie alongside Jack-Jack Attack
I know some people don't like this movie, which is totally fine, but I fucking LOVE it, holy crap. I mean sure, could the villain have been better? Yeah, sure. But the good stuff far outweighs the other stuff, at least in my opinion.
It was just very disappointing as a sequel to the goated original because disney rushed this movie to theaters because they wanted something during that summer because toy story 4 got delayed
I liked it because in the end is just a funny movie and finally gives a close to the history of superheroes being illegal, but on the other hand is mid compared to the first one , it doesn't have a well written message, the villain as you said, the action, that tone of mystery from the first, etc
A bit late to this video, l but I felt the need to chime in. People are talking about Bob being a bit of a misogynist and feeling like he need to be the man protecting everybody. These movies technically take place in the 50's. The cars, the technology, New Math, etc. All of it is from the era. The gender norms were only just starting to change. It's basically a period piece disguised in a superhero movie
There was originally going to be a scene at the beginning where the heroes held a funeral for Gazerbeam and the others killed by Syndrome in the first movie. It was unfortunately cut for time, but a rough animatic can be found online. I really wish they'd kept it in.
There was also a scene showing Honey hiding Frozone's supersuit when the underminer shows up, but they cut it because they liked the mystery of not knowing what Honey looked like
They had all those years and cut this scene because of TIME?! Jeez, what a horrible decision by the execs.
@DanGamingFan408 I see you on like 90% of the stuff I watch. Good seeing you again! Lol
@DanGamingFan408
And the scene probably was also cut because who else would’ve attended the funeral? Winston and Evelyn. The film made it look like Evelyn didn’t know about Gazerbeam’s death or that it was Syndrome who caused his death. That knowledge of his death should’ve made her not go on that villainous path. Then again, would the knowledge change anything?

Wait, was it really Usher?!

But when she's being hypnotized by Evelyn, she uses her portal powers EXTREMELY competently and in ways we don't see once she's back to normal.
she needs to play Portal
My headcannon is that Jackjack keeps his powers, but chooses to follow in Auntie Edna's footsteps of becoming a designer! The fact that he can stress test the fabrics himself is a plus!
I also like the idea that, some 20ish years in the future, some crook supers try to rob a fashion show, only for the guest judge Jackjack to trounce ALL of them, without even creasing his suit!
omg YES! This needs to be cannon! I can see it happening, and JackJack's just standing on stage all cocky and proud🤭
I really like Violet in this movie, she went from shy and reserved in the first movie to being outspoken and confident in this one.
She sucked and did a complete 180
In all fairness to Mr. Incredible, he never says "Women should stay at home and I'm the man so I should be out working." It's just that he really wants to be a superhero again and right now he can't be. He wants to be the one taking care of the family not because of gender roles but because he feels that's his responsibility. I'm honestly shocked that Disney didn't try to pull that stunt in this day and age
So its only bad if he says women should stay at home? 😂 he's behavior still wasn't good
@@tannerfromhighschool9731bit late but I think it's about intention. He's not saying he wants his wife to be at home because she's a woman it's because he want to be out there too, preferably with his wife.

@@tannerfromhighschool9731well yeah it makes sense, which is why he conceded.
But we spent a whole movie showing how out of place he feels when he’s not allowed to be a Super Hero - it’s what he’s good at.
Also, the fact that he's being told to just sit around and not do what he wants, while everyone else gets to do what they want.

Was there casualties from Bob’s train rescue? I don’t remember there being any
@@the_witty_king yeah there was a class action with about 25 in a courtroom drawing picture in the movie.
Hopefully the incredibles 3 will be better
I love when they were trying to set up the baby gladiators. "Now, you can say no, but..." "I have been saying no"
Jack Jack has as many powers as he has because he’s a JACK of all trades. That’s why he’s named that.
Them losing the tab while the movie was still playing was too funny
Jack Jack is a little Chaos King. Hell is raining down and he's getting passed around like a football... and he's just giggling away! Chaos King.
things i love about this movie are:
there was a cut scene in the intro that would have depicted a memorial service for the heroes killed by syndrome in the first movie, focusing mostly on Gazerbeam. In it, it's revealed that Mr Incredible, along with Frozone, introduced Gazerbeam to the superhero life almost as their protige, and that bob came up with the name Gazerbeam himself. The scene was cut for time, but you can still find rough drafts of it on youtube and i highly recommend watching them.
bob is refused the opportunity to bring heroes back because he was literally the person that caused supers to become illegal in the first place (on top of him bulldozing everything in his path)
faced with the threat ofmind-controlled supers, frozone brings the incredibile, a cold computer that can't be fooled by mind control liek bob was, to rescue the kids.
jack-jack's powers coincide with what it's like to have a baby
56:27: In that moment, Ruff became the dad who is stressed. Bree became the mom who's seen this all before, and Erik and Boom became fussy babies

Bob is taking alot of shit but you have to remember that Bob worked a soul sucking job for 15 years to support his family. A job I might add that actively went out of its way to hurt people which goes against everything he stands for.
43:41-44:08 I don’t think I’ve heard them laugh this hard XD.
“damn slay queen girl boss. brat summer” cracked me up!
Bruh the idea of Incredibles III being CHRONICLE is nuts rofl I'm not against it
The villain is the most aggregous of many issues
40:10 was the best y’all started laughing abt jack-jack “hahaha” then it got better when jack-jack spilled the cereal on his face😂😂😂😂
Absolutely love it everyone finds out jack jack has powers
59:58 "The bag is literally the discord logo" i can't unsee it now help 😂
YES! 🙌🏻 I wasn’t expecting a sequel reaction so soon! 😂❤
Omg this is the earliest I've been to a video, I just watched the first incredibles reaction yesterday!
1:16:15 ,When i was scrolling through UA-cam.Someone had an idea where there is a villan who can copy powers, so they try to keep jack jack away from the villan 😊
Society of the blind eye kind of taught us that erasing memories, even the troubling ones is not a good idea
I wonder how fast jack jack will finish all his chores when he grows up hahaha
43:41 Thats one way to clear your sinuses 😂😂😂
The reason it took so long is bc A. it's an animated movie, and it takes years to just animate all the models. B. the actors may have committed themselves to other projects, and until they were free of those obligations, they wouldn't be able to record the voice lines.
Actually the main reason is that Pixar wanted to avoid doing sequels for the longest time but because of the success of Toy Story 3 they backtracked on that idea
YOW!!! I just finished watching the first movie reaction then searched for the second one and just a few minutes you upload the next part!!
I think bob isn’t a bad person. He feels jealously. Everyone does sometimes. It takes a good person to pretend to not be for his wife’s sake
I’m so glad you guys reacted to The Incredibles!! I love both movies!! Can’t wait for The Incredibles 3!!
Let’s gooooooooooo the incredibles 2 yesssssss I love this movie but my all time favorite is part 1 my favorite scene from part 1 will always be honey where’s my super suit 😂 and this is how you start my day love the content too and vids
love your gum gum fruit shirt.
You all need to check out “The Adventures of Mr. Incredible and Pals -with commentary” it’s absolutely hilarious.
I liked it because in the end is just a funny movie and finally gives a close to the history of superheroes being illegal, but on the other hand is mid compared to the first one , it doesn't have a well written message, the villain as you said, the action, that tone of mystery from the first, etc
the biggest problem with it is that is just the first movie again with worse execution. All of the plot points are the same.
HOLLY MOLLY I'VE NEVER BEEN THIS EARLY LOL
THIS IS SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH AND JACK JACK IS SO CUTE🥹🫶🏻
Evelyn Deavor is a sneaky villain.
I love how the movie was subtle yet very in your face on who the bad guy was, Evelyn Deavor = evil endeavor
