@@Frances86. Oh my god, I was just thinking about that earlier today! His Mercutio has stayed with ever since that movie came out. His performance was stunning, and stole the stage right out from under Leo every time they were on screen together. Obviously his acting is more subtle as Michael, but it's nevertheless phenomenal work. Everyone has a right to their opinion, of course, but I can count plenty of performances in this show that are leagues worse than Harold's worst performance in anything lol
It tickles me to no end every time Hugo calls Sun "Dude" I dont know why, she just strikes me as the furthest thing from dude you can get on the island 😂
Guessing you've never seen it but Michael and Eko were both in the HBO show, Oz. It's a highly acclaimed show set in prison. It's a brutal show but really good.
Agree with you about the flashbacks, Eli. Even though we're seeing flashbacks that happened before the ones we saw in season 1, it's still fun to see and guess not WHAT is going to happen but HOW things are going to lead to what we know will happen.
Put Hurley together with any other character one on one and that other character (no matter how serious and self important) is suddenly in a buddy comedy movie.
The wooden cross story reminds me of the time I lost my glasses in the mosh pit at a QOTSA gig. I dived for them and nearly had them when a well-meaning guy yanked me up asking what the heck I was doing, and glasses were gone. They literally washed up at my feet later on that night, sadly very much the worse for wear.
The answer to how The Others get around without leaving any tracks is not answered on the show officially, but it was answered in the season 2 dvd menu. The main menu visual for disc 2 of season 2 was the pov shot of Jin/Eko in the bushes waiting for the Others to pass, and if you didn't move the cursor for a bit you would eventually get the uninterrupted/extended shot of the Others walking which would end with their way of removing tracks. Im posting a link to the dvd menu video if you are interested, there are no spoilers on the page that I could find but as always be careful with any Lost links. ua-cam.com/video/-nZCOPvKfXM/v-deo.html The dvd menu's are all amazing by the way, if that hasn't been brought up.
Funny what you said about subtitles, but actually Jin said "You... find... Walt" not "You will will find Walt" Jin does not speak very well English (in case you missed it 😂) but he meant "You will find Walt", that's what he really meant, and we all understood that... The subtitles are not here to translate the mindset 😉)
DUDE i cant wait for you to see more seasons, im just laughing here when you analyse things i cant say what things and are you right or wrong. Its gonna be fun when you figure things out cant wait. 👍😊😊
Libby was definitely there when they got thrown in the pit. A few episodes prior to this you can see Bernard, Libby and Cindy throwing them in the pit with Eko but they are stand-ins, not the regular actors, shot from behind. They may not have cast Libby and Bernard at the time of filming and they may not have wanted to tip their hand that Cindy was the flight attendant from the pilot episode quite yet (or the actress wasn't available yet). Jin's subtitles were correct. "You find Walt Michael..." He can only speak broken English at this point. He doesn't know all of the correct pronouns, adverbs, articles, etc. He **meant** "you will find Walt" but he can't quite say that yet.
I'm probably in the minority, but this is my favorite Jin/Sun episode. The ending always makes me cry tears of happiness. Yes, it was a simple episode, but I certainly wouldn't call it a weak one.
Hey Elie. Fyi, there is an audible banging/clanking noise at your edit points. It was annoying me all episode until i worked out it happens at the same time as the edit. i don't know what is causing it but thought you should know. Loving the uploads. Take care.
@cameronadams1285 yea i can hear it i know what it is. Its an audio effect because this ep gave me real copyright issues. Just a side effect of it sadly
I got behind a few, and just catching up. Back towards the end of season 1 you came in hard on Kate. First, if I was the run and someone was killed - even a friend - I'd run too. Nobody wants to go to prison. And she didn't kill him, he had a chance to get out, and the cop shot him. Second, what about Sawyer, we know what kind of trash Sawyer has been. But no one judges him for it anymore. But still wanting to hold Kate's past against her doesn't measure up? The only difference is one is a man, and one is a woman.
When you get close to seasons 5 and 6 I highly reccomend you checking out the Lost Map of the island. A UA-camr by the name of "Choekaas" breaks down per episode every journey through the Island the Oceanic survivors took throughout the series using the map as a guide. Also a video series called "Lost Explained" where this UA-camr does very deep dives into the mythology of the Island. DO NOT WATCH these videos until after you finish watching the entire series.
In Lost everyone had toxic relationships, just like in every Disney movie at least one character has toxic relationship with their parents or their parents both or one of them is dead lol 😂 Is it a thing for creators? 😂
19:38 Schitt's Creek is a tv show 😂 Schitt is a surname. The old adage says, "..up sh*t creek without a paddle.* That'd be thick, as well as nasty. But without an oar, it'd be impossible. Another to say "you're screwed". 😏 Exactly where they got the idea for the title to the show.
It’s officialy the 20 year anniversary of Lost btw. Happy lost day! lol
20 years later and it’s still infinitely rewatchable. Such a great show! Happy anniversary everyone.
🥂 There's no way there's a more rewatchable show. Nothing utilizes both the heart and the brain like Lost does.
Duuuude…. That moment where Jin and Eko are hiding and The Others first walk by…. Always gives me chills 🫨
Michael saying they took Walt right out of his hands is so well acted and as a mother it breaks my heart
Call me crazy but I think Michael's character is the worst acting in the show by far....
Really? That’s interesting. Have u seen him as Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet? He’s amazing 🤩

Gosh the look on Sun's face when she noticed Jack doesn't wear his wedding ring anymore is priceless 😭
Happy Anniversary to my favorite show. Been two months since I last rewatched the show and it's been a blast rewatching again it again with you.
It tickles me to no end every time Hugo calls Sun "Dude"

Happy 20th Anniversary today!!!! Lost premiered 9/22/2004~
Happy LOST anniversary!
Today is the 20th anniversary of the pilot episode of LOST. I hope to rewatch tonight.
20 years since the crash!!
At the end of episode 2x4 we can see when Sun loses the ring while burying the bottle, but the first time you see the show it is hard to notice
I LOVE the Sun and Jin flashbacks in this episodes. The music theme score for this episode had such romeo and juliet vibes to it.
Lost is just Amazing
Guessing you've never seen it but Michael and Eko were both in the HBO show, Oz. It's a highly acclaimed show set in prison. It's a brutal show but really good.
Happy Anniversary to this wonderful show!
And another top notch reaction, Elie 👌🏻

Happy 20th Anniversary to the greatest show ever ❤ ✈ 🏝 🐻❄️
Jin's like, "Take this job and shove it, you snob." So satisfying watching that gorgeous man do that.

Happy birthday

3h live stream plus this reaction isn't enough 😂. I'm hungry for more!!!
I hope you have a great day on the beach 🏖️🎉
So good
You guys stayed on for another hour!? Sweet! I only managed the two hours 😴
Hope you're having a well deserved rest after your shift Aneysa!

Thank you my dude!!!
Ok - so plot hole for me - Sawyer was on the raft, why would he have put a message in the bottle???
There's a scene that shows exactly that. Sawyer declines leading a note. And he's heading to open sea. So he could still die.

Not sure if you mentioned it Elie but do you recognise Cindy as the flight attendant who was chatting to Jack on the plane before the crash?
