I believe the bottom scarab slot is bugged. It consumes the scarab but does not seem to actually work. Put your map there until they fix it. Hope that helps!
A question, if i use elder scarab on a yellow map, should it work? Cuz one time i used it and it didnt work, i am trying to learn is it about the slot or just not a thing 😅
An easy way to test this is by having no nodes on Atlas that give a specific mechanic (ex. Expedition) then using a scarab that has area contains that mechanic and if it spawns it works
I just wanted to share that after this video I tried putting in more rarity to my gear, I redid my rings, added a gold flask and the rarity enchant and got rarity on my gloves. Today I dropped a raw mageblood running city square. Thanks for the tip!
What baffles me is how little to no gold is in Heist. You know - a league mechanic about stealing. I though there would be some decent piles dropping there - so I could burn through contracts and blueprints. But nope... I might try Item Rarity Supp Gem - my build is comfy enough to sacrifice one slot (Holy Relic Neco)
I made the same comment to my buddy as I was running a blueprint this weekend.....that I can't keep doing contracts and blueprints because there's so little gold.
was a bad league for me to try out sanctum as a main money maker. It do be making me main moneys but I have to literally run maps as upkeep for the main league mechanic if i want to interact with it at all. Feels more like a chore than anything.
Ive been getting 15k gold per map on average across probably close to 100 alc and go City squares, my gear randomly happened to have 44% total rarity on it. I then decided to slap on a rarity support and a gold flask with a rarity craft bringing me up to 155% rarity, ran 20 more city squares and still got 15k average per map (all the maps were rolled to 80+ Quant)
I've seen MA do amazing things with ghosted exiles when it comes to unique farming, so I thought it would be a good combo for gold since exiles always drop a full set of items, and people keep saying that items are being converted to gold. A single Titanic scarab makes every unique mob, including elder portals and crimson ore blobs explode in gold, but MA with ghosted exiles just feels like normal mapping.
It gave me an idea that theyre testing a concept with the league of their own lootfilter system - its purpose to convert lame loot into gold, so its win-win on both sides, esp in regards of lowspec pc's. And fixes the loot bloat. I dunno how they intend to keep the idea, but i actually would like if they just would keep it, and add some way to control it - like if rarity was not an infinite stat, but just 0-100% stat with breakpoints, where 100% converts all non-uni and non specific items into gold for example. So you have player agency over their loot, in the same time keeping their screens clear, and solving "boring mf" issue.
I mean ... the MA evidence shows you need to correlate these results with pack size and quant, right? It looks like rarity is one of three dimensions. More mobs seems to be the dominant factor. That being said, you are a scholar and saint for doing this experiment and I have no desire or time to do such a thing!
Yup, all evidence indicates that more guys = more gold, and Player IIR is an extra scalar that's not quite as strong-but you can scale it up much more than you can pack size or zone item quantity.
Is there any trick to the mappers in kingsmarch? They've churned through hundreds of maps in my case, almost all red, half of which T16, half magic, half rare, and I got maybe 3 divines total.
@nocky2k I mean thats true for the entire game, you can drop a mirror off hillock. Just because it can happen doesn't mean that there's no influencing the outcome at all. In general 8mod maps give more stuff and thus more chance at better stuff.
@pathofevening Hi there, I wanted to tell you thank you for your video (last league ) on leveling a second character. The hollow palm is amazing, it's the first time I ever did it and it was probably the best leveling experience I've had. Maybe even fun. Since you don't have a discord I am telling you thank you here. Haven't mentioned that you should get a discord? *Wink*
We're glad to help. We're constantly thinking about a discord but two channels, irl jobs, and answering all questions leaves little time to also manage discord
Yeah, good call. Might take a few attempts since the weapon needs to be 5r-1w, and it REALLY likes to add green sockets, but it should still be cheaper than 12k purple harvest juice, just not as quick.
I dont get it.. i have tried every single gold farming thing i read.. the ones i could afford say i should get 30K + gold per map, but i keep being stuck on basically 12.5k per map... i increased my rarity by over 120 since then, still 12.5k per map... tried scarabs that increased pack size, more monsters, elder influence etc.. 12.5k per map. like clockwork. i dont understand what is going on
We did a big breakdown of a bunch of other gold farming strats in this video: ua-cam.com/video/oqQ2GIFTr7E/v-deo.html The Good & Plenty setup can consistently pull over 30k gold per map, so check that out.
If I get up to my Kingsmarch requiring 60k to 70k per hour.....I'll never be able to keep up with that and still be able to do anything else in the game.
Nice info however the main question do you actually need it. Farming gold is equivalent to farming wisdom scrolls in act 7, you probably be better not wasting your time on it
i paused mapping to have gold to finish upgrading. If you're not playing as a full time job, you can mine, smelt, and disenchant with all cheap people. They catch up while you're doing other stuff.
i guess is should move to blue altar for gold farming :< tbh i never even tried it since i heard it is more rippy then red one, all i have to use for the red one is soul of abarath to not die to burning ground, specially since the meteor nerf this league update already: i can't play blue since i run around with perma 8 frenzy and endurance charges (:
I honestly can't believe you can make 19k gold average on scour and go, I just did a couple 8-mod chiseled 130% iiq toxic sewers, full clear, with 5 scarabs (domination scarabs and pack size) and dominaiton map mod... red altars atlas (but no iiq and iir from the middle of the atlas) and got 15k and 19k gold... you can't tell me it's just the central atlas iiq wheel... and when I just alc and go I often get 5k gold, even taking 5 red altars... I do jungle valley, mesa, toxic sewers and beach, I always full clear.. I guess I'll have to try dunes but still, the difference is insane, I have 0% iir but still..
ok, just did three dunes, last one ended with 127% iir in the map due to blue altars, I also have the middle iiq and iir atlas wheel, got 7k gold total... something's really wrong in your chart or with me -_-. (also checked on other 3 maps, alc n go, 5k gold each)
@@PathofEvening seriously, I have checked 30 maps, only twice I reached your scour n go 0 iir average of 19k gold. and I did with 8 modded maps and 5 scarabs... meanwhile you wrote you are doing an average of 100k gold on those.
what people dont get , ggg dosent want us to have the town at 100 % effectivness all the time. Its a mechanic so its a choice. Either you farm gold the way its suppose to be farmed, or you have the town at 30-50% and play the mechanics in the game that you like. You cant have eveything - its poe

Yeah I legit just stopped doing anything with kingsmarch because the gold cost is so insanely high I can't do anything with it. I don't get to play 6+ hours a day to be able to afford this mechanic.
Rarity does in fact help move currency up tiers. IE chaos to divines and divines to mirrors. This is well known and has worked that way for a long time. It does also influence what tier of uniques are dropping.
I don’t do any thing special for gold other than play the game and I don’t have any issues with gold. What are others doing that drains there bank so fast?
kingsmarch, as he stated it can cost 60K + gold per hour to operate. that means you need around 1.4-1.5 million gold per day just to survive and break even. if you have any gold left over after that you will be lucky.
@@thomasrad5202 the thing is, people don't have to operate kingsmarch 24/7. Once I upgraded my town, I just sent it as I needed it. For example, mappers are absolute trash, so I don't even bother with them, and you don't need alot of dust. I just sent out 2k of each crop and some dust and I still get a few divines back every day(if I'm playing all day that is). The rest of the gold I just use for the currency exchange. I also never send out ore as results are trash.
