  • You want to always get a good approach and a solid attack? You need to get OFF the net quickly to create space between you and the ball. This will allow you to have a long and dynamic approach and put all of your momentum in the ball.
    The secret?? TURN & RUN

    Can you add a slow motion for the movement in your tips of the week videos? It helps us to see the motion step by step and in a closer way.
    Thanks

    Thanks God! I have met you...
    I really learned a lot from your videos. I played volleyball since elementary and I am a fourth year high school now but I am not still good in volleyball... I hope you can do a video about exercises to have a higher jump.

    Thanks for your video. Not sure if you will see this comment but I loved your Christmas setting challenge and I was wondering if you could do a video on simple workouts that will help my volleyball game. Thanks in advance, love the videos!

    Hey I've watched all of your tip of the week videos and I love them because they're so short and easy to watch. My only suggestion is actually a idea for a video. My coach told me I had "rock hand" and/or told my my fingers are too close together, I've tried fixing it but when I do I end up double hitting it wrong or it gets bad backspin. I'm not sure if you addressed this in another video, but if you did if you could reply with the link that would be great! Thanks

    • @JumpVolleyball
      @JumpVolleyball  4 роки тому

      No but you need to at least be able to contact de ball above the height of the net so a high jump or high reach is important

    • @JumpVolleyball

      Are you too early or too late? You control everything about the serve but it may be easier for you to adjust one of the many components of a serve. See if it is easier to match your toss to your approach or your approach to your toss. Try both and see what works best

      its that he shouldn't have went under the net even in practice, as it builds bad habits

    Idk, I think if you have a decent speed while going backwards this doesn't really help or can even slow you down since you have to turn around so much. Certainly only my opinon and going back fast really needs training to not fall over so maybe this will help a bunch of people.

    • @PitonTheOne
      @PitonTheOne 7 років тому +2

      He went under the net after the hit, it's a mistake and it may lead to a bad habit. You don't cross the middle line in a real game, do you?

    • @user-tl4ly8pr3n
      @user-tl4ly8pr3n 7 років тому +2

      Aleksandr Rogov no, even standing on it is a fault

    • @user-tl4ly8pr3n
      @user-tl4ly8pr3n 7 років тому

      Ryuza Shimazaki depends on referry, country, rank and situation

    • @PitonTheOne
      @PitonTheOne 7 років тому +1

      Ryuza Shimazaki, Yes, that's right. Still it's a bad habit to cross a net during a hitting warm up. What if in a real game someone makes a last second dig?

    • @PitonTheOne
      @PitonTheOne 7 років тому

      Robin VS, yes and no, there are small details you need to pay attention to. When you stand on a line and your heel does not cross it then it's ok. But when your heel crosses it (for example, after a jump you end up facing the net with your back) then it's a fault.
