Fantastic. You sure made a difference for that fox. Something I love about your videos, aside from the huge amount of kindness you show to the animals, is the care you take to ensure that the animals feel comfortable with their surroundings upon release.
My sentiments exactly. What a wonder man. Ending fox hunts would make all this more meaningful. Do they eat fox or how exactly do royal hunting parties justify these kills? Sporting hunts are barbaric, including big game, sport fishing and birds. In a natural environment, the old and sick die first.
Summer Snow Kills like foxes or wolves and such are usually skinned afterwards, I think, to get their pelt for garments and decorations like rugs or fur-trimmed winter cloaks-which were very popular during the times where royal hunting parties were still a common thing-ect. Games like deers or boars and aviaries would provide more usage, since their meat could be made into dishes. This is from memory, so some information might be missing or false, so don’t take me too seriously without checking with reliable sources.
Quite a dramatic situation. 😲 Well done, finding a very safe and controlled solution to the problem. I was worried either the fox, or WAF team was going to be at risk of falling. I'm happy that the fox saw and took the opportunity, when the window was opened. Sara's impeccable _'Ninja Camouflage'_ ability at 3:48 gave me a bit of a good laugh. It was absolutely brilliant. Just a quick question, knowing how intelligent Crows are, when you have to keep them in the centre do you have to take special precautions like crow-proof enclosures to stop them doing a great escape?
I've heard a few researchers saying working with a monkey is like working with a 2 year old. While working with a crow is like working with a ticked off teenager.

It's interesting how different release was for this one. The fox wasn't in a hurry at all, I wonder if it's because it's an urban fox. Usually you need a 1000 frames per second camera to see something blurry coming out of the box. This one was like "I'll be going now."
