I get discouraged when I see this is beginner-level. I've only been doing it for a little while. But, it's extremely tough. Some days are better than others. I just Keep telling myself it will get better. Thank you so much for sharing you definitely have the best videos on UA-cam the way you break down the tricks super helpful !!
i would say this is high beginner level not like someone who just started doing it. you can get here if you keep at it for a few months. so don't be discouraged!
Once you reach this level (of advanced beginner), it will make sense! But to me this is still prob adv beginner into intermediate. I have been poling for 1 yr and only just scratching the surface of some of these moves and transitions. There's a lot to understand biomechanically!
Well, it’s more for beginners after 3 months of practice at least. You need to able to hold, sit and climb. You can always skip the handstand thingy, by just finishing in a floor butterfly position, as I showed in the video. Everything else is just a matter of time, few workouts and I think this combo is possible, if you put your energy in🥰 Thank you for your feedback💜
Yes, definitely agreed! I’m an absolute beginner who BARELY has the strength to hold myself onto the pole (been trying conditioning exercises a little bit daily) so it’s difficult for me to properly do the beginner moves she taught in the first video. Then I get to the second video and I’m just like, “wait, what?! Hold up!” So it seems like I definitely need to do a WHOLE lot more conditioning exercises and get my strength up!
Im a beginner too! Im definitely farther along because i can climb and what not. Id still call this beginner. But not first time beginner maybe like beginner 2.0 or 3.0. Just keep practicing youll get the hang of it!
oh my god i've literally been shedding blood and sweat trying to get my knee through and i watched this video while practicing on the pole and I FINALLY DID IT. Thank you soooo much for your effort in making these videos!!!!!
I have a 50mm pole at home that I'm struggling using (I'm used to a 45). This seems the perfect routine to get used to it :) Thanks Anete for another beautiful tutorial
Thank you for this 2 parts! I recently started and sometimes its so discouraging to see all the skinny girls showing "beginner tricks" that are far from doable if you dont have any strength or coordination. Although I consider myself stronger than normal as I do weightlifting, I ended up with many extra pounds bodyweight after winter. And then its so hard to see myself in a Bikini, self-conscious and on top not able to do all the so called "Beginner videos" Yours really really focuses on Beginners and is very encouraging! So I hope to see more pole videos fro Beginners in the future. BTW: May I ask how you achieved your amazing physique? These strong arms and shoulders do not only come from Pole, do they?
I used to do swimming, so it probably comes from that. Also I did powerlifting so that helped, but I have always had a tendency to string arms. Definetely pole dance made me tons of stronger!👌
I’m a big girl too. It’s ok! I’m also a beginner and her videos are amazing. I can’t do a lot of these tricks yet but try one a day with her arm grips and swings
@@eviannam16 exactly what I was thinking! I’ve been dancing for 9 months and can do the moves but *putting them together* seamlessly while on spin pole (mine is stuck on spin I lost the screws lol) is another thing especially mainly pulling that leg thru. I struggle with sweaty hands and grip (small hands) and stiff body bcs I’m close to 40 with fibromyalgia 😂… but yea I feared for my life trying to pull my leg thru no matter how my body is angled. It’s definitely a fun combo tho!!!!
Thank you, I really appreciate your feedback💜 I am doing pole for 5 years now, I train a lot of students, not sure how many precisely, also help them prepare for competitions😊
What should I do if I feel an aching pain in my lower back ?? I feel restricted in my range of motion because the pain really aches every time I move and everything I do.
You rock as an instructor btw.. I am a complete beginner and I can almost do everything thing in this video. But when I try to close my hip to bring my knee through, that’s when I especially feel the pain in my lower back. I fell off the pole trying to do it high, but I can do it on the floor
Feel like I should not be watching you because I can’t have you I can’t even pay rent right now but I feel like it’s not fair to watch you because you are doing so much it’s like a free class honestly I don’t feel right about it so I just wanted to say thank you and if I get the opportunity to I would love to you donate because you have some really good tips and have been really Helped me think about things in a different and safer way. Do you have a video already of how to get out of certain call tricks or when you get stuck how you can get out safely because I live by myself but I used to do gymnastics and I feel pretty safe like I could always get out of a trick however I think there’s a chance that something might happen one day when I don’t know how to get out of it. I’m also not stupid and I wouldn’t try and do something crazy that I don’t know how to do but I still think there’s a chance that might happen like my shoes get tangled ( but I know to be careful of that ) or something like that. Or even maybe a video of tricks that you should not even try without help even if you have the skills to you I don’t know just trying to think of things that I might get in trouble with and also this is more of a suggestion to you if you need help with making videos I do not expect you to cater to me being in not able to tip you! LOL you don’t even need to respond to me at all I just wanted to really say thank you and I just thought of that as I was typing this
Please dont worry about the donation. Well this always depends on the trick, the safe exit I mean. There are very many tricks that shouldnt be done alone if you aren’t super pro, although even pros need a spotter once in a while😄 but thanks, I will think about this. How to put it in a tutorial🙏
Aneta pleasa can you write the trick and spins name .. I write down always. ? So First part : step around priutulet juliet spins and clocks ok but after ...?
I mention the names in the videos, if I dont mention in some I probably dont know the name myself😄 But for most of the tricks and spins I say the name at some point.:)
Probably more of an intermidiate level, but beginners can use some it definetely. Thats completely okey, climbing takes time and learning to hold and lift up your own body weight as well, no need to rush. Take things slow and you will get there🥰
As I have already said, beginner level is very different. For a first month beginner some if this still can be used. For a first day beginner ofcourse no. I have other beginner videos, you can check them out. I have posted tips for beginners as well planning to post beginner tricks and breakdowns. I am fully aware that beginners can be different. I have been teaching pole almost for 5 years now, daily. Beginners sometimes need interesting things, different combinations. I could post beginner video step around and sit on pole, thats about it, because thats a first month beginner. But would that be an interesting video to see?
I give these kind of combos after 3 months regular trainings or more. So ofcourse its not combo you give a beginner who just came to class. Just tried to make this video interesting for those who know all the basic stuff and searching for combinations without inverts.
Beginners are very different in each country and in each studio. For first month beginners this is not the best video yes, if you are 3 month or so already in training and doing well with the basic stuff, some of this you can definetely try. It all depends on how well do you learn and understand the details, as well as if you feel ready. 😊
That's what I thought until I learned how to do it properly. I also have skinny legs but you don't sit on the pole straight like you would sit on a chair. You have to create and angle with your hips so when you sit one buttock is about the other. You can see Anete is also doing that, if you look closely.
@@Yesyes-vj3cn haha, sorry, just wanted to help cause at first I also thought it's impossible and few weeks later it magically became super easy 😂 congrats on your progress! :)

There is a difference between a starter and between Beginner level. This is still a beginner level, that are practicing consistently. Tricks and combos that are defined as beginner level: 2 or more basics gripping points ( knees thighs, side etc), tehnically easy to understand, safe to execute ( if done properly). You should definitely see a doctor and a physio therapist. Pain is not normal, it means something is wrong. You need to heal and rest.
Is the pole locked ?
I don't know what real beginner could do this.
