I am Dmitri, health enthusiast. I developed a passion for health topic in my mid forties when I was diagnosed with anxiety and high blood pressure and my doctor advised me breathing exercise and physical exercises to lower anxiety and high blood pressure naturally. I started from deep breathing, walking and gradually progressed to running to address high blood pressure. Currently in my mid fifties, I fixed anxiety and high blood pressure and compete in global endurance races. I also actively practices breathing exercises, yoga, meditation and meditation music to lower blood pressure. Exercise is one of my favourite methods to stay in good shape and avoid anxiety and high blood pressure. Thank you very much for your teaching and help, i tried the 478 breathing way and it does work, high blood pressure drop dramatically, i have a question, how many minutes do i need to practice the breathing to lower BP per day? if i stop practicing, will the blood pressure go back to original height?
Hi, thanks for your feedback, glad these exercises work. For long term effects you need to repeat these exercises daily for at least several minutes. Gradually, you will learn how to be in a calm state or body and mind for longer periods of time. It is also a good idea to combine breathing exercises, acupressure with moderate physical exercises, like walking, jogging and strength exercises. You can watch videos with these exercises on my channel. This combination will accelerate the healing effect and most likely blood pressure will stay at lower levels for longer. Thank you, I will try and do this regularly. In the end I was getting really hot and from the feet onwards there was a fair bit of tenderness at the spots. I suppose that is a good thing 🙏🙏👣

Thankyou for this. It's very effective. While doing it along with the video, I relaxed and yawned a few times, and after all the points, noticed significant diastolic pressure reduction, though systolic also reduced. Are these to be pressed in hands and feet shown only, or both!
Thanks, glad it helped. Different acupressure points work differently for different people. I would suggest to try all the points shown in the acupressure videos on my channel and select the ones which work best for you. Main thing: apply some pressure so it feels a bit uncomfortable massaging these points, but it should NOT feel painful. Please let me know which points worked best for you
@@BreathNow_app yes, I ve earlier tried other points which haven't worked. Your directions to exactly locate the points and this description of how much pressure is commendable and helpful. For me I think the points in hand, feet, elbow ones helped more.
Ear ones i couldn't locate well.
My question stands - do we press these points in both hands, feet and elbows or ....needs clarity, don't want to assume.

Hi Paul, thanks for your feedback. Acupressure exercises, like breathing and meditation, usually lower blood pressure quickly but the positive effect usually doesn't last long. As a preventive measure it makes sense to do acupressure, meditation, breathing couple times per day for a few minutes and every time, when you feel that your BP is rising. For long term effect it makes sense to combine these relaxation exercises with physical workouts like walking and jogging. Please check other instructional videos on my channel. Hi, Thank you so much for your video. Can you press these points by skipping some points, or do they have to be pressed in this order to take affect? According to Chinese medicine, there are some "meridians". Can all the acupunture points (which I found) cause disadvantages used together?
Hi, thanks for your question. You can press these points in any order and skip any points if you want. As to 'meridians'. Currently there is no modern medical research which confirms that these "meridians" exist. I know however from personal experience, experience of my friends and also positive feedback from acupressure videos on my UA-cam channel that massaging these points does help to lower blood pressure. I attribute this to relaxation nature of self massage and acupressure. May relaxation techniques usually lead to lower blood pressure. Have a wonderful day!

The first one dealing wurh making a muscle and doing pressure in the crease line caused me extreme pain. Is this a cause for alarm?
Hi Garnet, yes, pain during an acupressure is DEFINITELY a cause of alarm. Working some acupressure points may feel uncomfortable but it should NOT be painful. It makes sense to avoid massaging this particular point and explore other points in the video. Would be interesting to learn if you experience pain working any other points. Stay healthy!

@@garnetjohnson763 Sorry, I meant to say that massaging an acupressure point should NOT be painful. It looks like you may be pinching a nerve or may be you had prior injuries in this area. Do not think this pain in acupressure point is directly linked to a cardiovascular issue like a heart attack. Unless, of course, you feel any symptoms generally associated with a heart attack. In this case you need to see a doctor. Please let me know whether massaging other acupressure points help you to lower blood pressure

The key however is to agree with your doctor on the overall treatment plan for hypertension and how acupressure and other calming techniques complement this plan.
