If he didn't sound like he had his stuff together or fully believes he has a solid and unique idea no one would buy the product.
It does look like an interesting idea and at the introductory pricing the unit is about average of most yak peddle drives, but that's not including the battery I don't think.
My hoodoo tempest 120p peddle drive is $500.00 alone.

How wide of a boat can they be used on? Can I use this on a 48" wide Jon boat? .
This is genius!!! I plan to order one of these for my old town kayak 106 PDL. I wish that you would design one of these for a fishing JetSki like the sea-Doo fish pro. This is definitely a game changer for sure!

Thanks! We would love to send to France! You can place a order on your indigogo page. It can adjust up to 37 inch wide. This covers almost all kayaks because most come to a point at the end giving less width. It has +23 lbs of thrust and only ways ~10 lbs
Please make it affordable, currently most are around $1,000, which is way too expensive to justify having one on a kayak for some of us.

U have max speed on a 10" kayak. That must be the sit in kayak on the video. What will it do on a normal 11'-12' fishing kayak. That is vital can you give more info on that. Your target should be bigger kayaks.
I agree- we need more specs on the motors used, break-away ability in timber, weed cutting ability, etc. I love the turning on a dime ability!
It’s electric motors, if you need more power you add more batteries. To add, it’s not the length of the kayak that will make a difference it’s the weight. A 12’ kayak doesn’t weigh considerably more than a 10’. If you worried about weight then you should be paddling to shed some of it!

Thanks Mike. The unit is very robust. The motors do not require any maintenance. Spare propellors are easy to change out in rare case and will available. We are offering free support via phone or email and can provide parts at cost.

@@PacMotor we are in bend oregon right now, and looking at getting an aqua glide 160 angler fishing kayak.

Needs more power, 5 mph is not fast enough when facing a headwind or fast current.

Cool but expensive
I can tell by the size of the connection point that the gears at the joints will not last very long. Look at the gear at the end of a small trolling motor, it’s twice the size of this and they still break often enough.
joystick needs a better design
Yes, if you check out our other videos you can see the production model is a new design. A lot smaller and sleeker!

I can buy a minn kota trolling motor for $114.
Think again $900 for the motor and doesn’t include the battery. I can’t find how much the battery is but I’m thinking it’s about. $400-$600 just for the battery. Just make your own trolling motor and connect to a battery for less then $500. Pacmotor needs to figure out something call affordability
Hello, it’s 999 and that includes the battery. You can by the motor and use your own battery for 629. It’s actually really affordable compared to others on the market.
Too bad you're designing a basic system that will cost more than the kayaks people want them for lol. Can build a similar system for $350CAD....
