Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 Front Axle Rebuild Overview

In the middle of a front axle knuckle rebuild on my 1984 FJ60 with 231,000 miles on it. Replacing the axle seals along with all new bearings in the knuckle, and wheel bearings with new inner seal. I don’t believe it has ever been done. Definitely a lot of grime everywhere. I got the parts kit from Cruiser Outfitters who I highly recommend for parts! I wanted to post this video just to show reasons why to do it, and to give a perspective on what parts are actually being changed.

Alex, what kind of side rock slider you have on your FJ60?

Trail Gear 67” sliders. Universal product. Welded on.

@@AlexKlineFJ60 thanks. Mine is actually a FJ62 but all of the measurements should be the same I assume. I hope it wouldn't be too much modification besides welding on?
