Love this video! Questions for you as I'm going to be doing this to my 60 soon. Why did you go with Dobinson over Old Man EMU or others? And why did you remove one of the leaf springs from the front suspension? Thanks!
Dobinsons leafs are meant for i believe the diesel version of the 60 (its an australian company) so instructions say if you dont have the diesel engine then you dont need 1 of the leafs... Also ran Dobinsons on lots of my trucks and love them so hadnt seen a video done with them yet on 60 series so we went that route.
To be honest, i’m not sure i’d be drilling holes in the chassis for the shock res. And especially not near the spring mounting point. These cars can suffer enough stress fractures without drilling extra holes.
We liked the vintagee skinny wheel look. But if we turn it into a crawler or regear or something we will definitely go up in tire size at that point. Thanks for watching!
A lot of head scratching watching yall do this. Wrong tools/sockets being used, gripping the spring pack center pin with vice grips, greasing all kinds of places you're not supposed to, re-using old spring perch pads...yikes.
Brilliant video! Very informative 👏
Ive done this job on my 84 and pre soaking with a lubricant makes is so much easier. Looks good and great video
we did alot of pre soaking too! It definitely helped on some areas! and thanks for watching!

@@trailsandtrucks Awesome - thanks for the feedback!
What bumpstops did you use?

💯💯💯
well done video. the rig needs to come down an inch or 2, or put bigger tires on her.
