I love how you pointed out that rain is an important device in her songs. Many Swifties know that when it rains at one of her concerts she still performs and KILLS it. Taylor has loves rain! Her rain shows are a blessing and very iconic. When I watched her reputation tour at the MetLife stadium it poured almost the entire time and she played Fearless and Clean as bonus songs 😭

Someone else has already commented this but The Best Day is actually about her mom, not her dad! That’s why she says “I have an excellent father / his strength is making me stronger / God smiles on my little brother / inside and out he’s better than I am” but doesn’t include a line about her mom, because it’s written TO her mom. And then later “and daddy’s smart and you’re the prettiest lady in the whole wide world.”

The first album I ever bought was Fearless Platinum Edition when I was 11. Been a fan ever since, 12 years later. This album is timeless and deserved every milestone it achieved. This was Taylor before all the drama and it really just captures the innocence she had at that age. Like folklore, Fearless had that storytelling magic Taylor is so good at.

The platinum edition of Fearless has been my favorite Taylor album for YEARS. It has only be dethroned by folklore. This album is one of the reasons I will always be a Taylor fan. I felt like I grew up with her and her music. You should definitely listen to the extra tracks on the platinum edition. My personal favorite is Untouchable. It was a remake of a song by a band called Luna Halo. Her version is absolutely enchanting.
I'm gonna have to go back and do some Deluxe track reactions at some point I think!

First of all, White Horse was my jam when I was younger. Also, Hey Stephan was my top song for studying in a coffee shop. It just has cafe/coffee shop vibes. I just rewind fearless all the time for any sort of homework/ formal letters/ work paperwork all my life that's like my writing tunes.

You should definitely make sure to react to the deluxe editions of all her albums. The piano version of Forever and Always (on the platinum edition of Fearless) is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and for me, a million times better than the original.
