- Thank you for bearing with us this week. We finally have Friday's episode up for you, and what a varied and lovely day it was.
For just one week, we will be filming, editing and posting a vlog a day to show you what it is we get up to in a normal week at the medieval Chateau de Rosieres - our beast of a French castle and estate. From the remarkable to the mundane, follow the passage of our week exactly as it unfolds.

The Association also supports community and educational activities designed to put the chateau and estate at the heart of village life.

Don’t listen to any trolls, they usually just are miserable, jealous and envious that they don’t get to have your life in France.
Exactly! I’m also miserable, jealous and envious that I don’t live in France but I love watching these chateau dwellers and their endeavours and wouldn’t dream of being nasty to people who come across as some of the nicest. I don’t get why people do this.

Hearing Clement laugh with delight at the Foote Ball table made me laugh too. Oh I miss my grandchildren being babies. He is so precious.

It's called a table football in english, babyfoot in franglais (french).

The look on Marc’s face when you asked him what the date was priceless and then he answered in an almost whisper but pulled it off by remembering your anniversary. Bravo Marc for having that split second to remember! My husband just gives up and says “what event or anniversary have I forgotten about”.
I am so sorry to hear about your beloved chickens and birds - weasels are so destructive. It is devastating for you.
However Clement’s bursts of laughter are so heart warming for us strangers and for you they are heart melting.

I am sorry to hear you have been unwell. I wanted to admire your use of the tent to keep Clermont safe and occupied. I firmly believe in the use of the tent for all situations and not only for camping. But mostly I am miss understood or people think I am being cheeky.

Clement is such a beautiful little boy, his excitement at the table football was priceless.
Lovely anniversary picnic with Marc, jacuzzi cider and all! Sweet Clement and his tired laughing giggle reminds me of my baby.....who is now almost 40!!! The Coach House looks amazing and will be a perfect spot to gather for a bit of tea and chatter! Now, take a little time off as you have way over indulged in video and editing this past week. We all truly loved it but as a young mum, you do NOT need to be staying up until 3 am for anyone, except sweet Clement! Cheers!

That flying scene over the trees at the beginning along with the music, make me feel like we are going back in time.
I think (when you have time) that you should make a more permanent picnic area there . It was a lovely spot. Cut a few of the small bushes down maybe add a log table an some chairs. A lovely place to go an reflect an have lunch!

When I saw the traffic lights on in Marc's workshop and heard the beginning of the music, I thought that we are here for a bit of disco dance ,treat'. It took a moment to realise that these two things are not related. I thought that writting about it will makes you smile. Cheers!

I didn’t have time to comment properly before, I had grandmother duties. Loved the music when Marc was working on the table, his work ended up fixing the foozeball table really well. Looked like you all had fun playing with it even Clement who was so sweet laughing at it. The picnic turned out great in the end even if the cider exploded, good food, drink, beautiful view and a celebration of your meeting, who could ask for more. Thank you for doing the editing and showing us a peek into your amazing home and life. 🙋🏼
