Enjoy the way it looks now because in one year , at least up here in the tri state rust belt , its going to look like a rusty ol skidplate , i use ferofluid to protect my undercarriage . The end result is far faster and superior in protection . My skidplate is more a sacrificial metal barrier to take on the elements,. Now as far as the drums and calipers , i agree with your method .
M Goding we get the oversalt/chems too. I am going to spray fluid film all on the chassis this fall as a preventative. Yeah that skid plate will not do too great but is better than before for now!
@@JLeeChron That looks like a great paint job nonetheless. I got a cheap one done in college that im regretting now. They didn't remove my windshield molding and various other things so everything's starting to chip, may I ask how much that paint job costed? Im unsure of how much to expect because I may just use this last job as primer lol. Thanks
WOW that looks badass!!!
I love the thre color skid plate I might have to look into doing this to my 08 now
Just about to do this on my 99 limited. Cheers for the vid

Why did you choose to paint the drums on the vehicle when you had them off ?
Joey Richards -looks and longevity. Dirty rusty drums detract from the overall appearance. Its the details.
is the paint on your tacoma stock? If so, bravo
fuzzy dunlop Unfortunately no, has been repainted but all metal is solid!
