Well done Caroline. I started on Ozempic in 2023 and ended up on 1.5 mg weekly dose, since I pay for this out of pocket (my insurance will not cover my Ozempic or Mounjaro since I’m not a diabetic - I have plenty of other co-morbidities, but diabetes is not one of them), my doctor has prescribed Mounjaro for me since it ends up being cheaper for me than the Ozempic. I’m on 7.5 mg dose each week and find it really helps. The 5.0 mg weekly dose wasn’t quite as effective for me, but the 7.5 mg seems to be the magic dose. I’e accepted the fact that I will be on this drug for the rest of my life, I’ve yoyo’d since I was a teenager (I’m 69 years old now) and I don’t want to do this anymore. I’ve lost 60 pounds and want to loose another 15 or 20 pounds. The energy I have now is incredible and the fact that I don’t have all that food noise is such a huge relief. A lot of people say that it’s just about making good food choices or dealing with your emotions, but it’s hard to make good food choices when your mind is constantly telling you that you need carbs and that you are starving (even though you’ve just eaten a good and healthy meal). Also, I’m not necessarily an emotional eater, I would eat for whatever reason, but mostly because my gut and my mind were telling me that I was hungry. Mounjaro has taken all that food noise away. For me, this drug has been a lifesaver; if I could have kept the weight I’ve lost over the years (and gained, plus more each time), I wouldn’t need Mounjaro. For me it’s not about discipline or self control, it was all about my appetite.
Well done you… we have 2 cruises coming up & 4 days in Spain for my 56th birthday… I’m hoping I can be good too. 6 weeks in for me on mounjaro & I’ve lost just over 8k. I’m still on 2.5mg but debating going up to 5 on this weeks order. I wasn’t that good over Christmas, allowed myself what I wanted for 3 days but didn’t have any gains… I also worked 12.5hr shifts on a very busy ward over some of Christmas & all of New year & although that’s really tough, probably helped me to stop eating so many goodies & drinking. Happy New year Caroline, I’m a relatively new follower & you give me a lot of inspiration ❤️
Well done, you really can tell and you look great. I took my 7th jab on Friday and so after 6 weeks in I have lost 21 1/2 pounds…(I have a lot to lose though), I am thrilled and just can’t believe it, I lost 6lb this week and I’m eating well, and making good choices because I want to…..I haven’t deprived myself nor would I, as I realise that this new lifestyle is forever. I am on my 2nd 5mg and intend to stay on this as long as it’s working for me. Look forward to your updates, and take care and Happy New Year x
Agree about Christmas food shopping. I was pretty disinterested wondering round Tesco. Ate 1 lindor ball all Christmas! That alone is a Christmas miracle.
Well done Caroline. Definitely a win and you are looking very well. None of that drawn look that sometimes happens with weight loss. Onwards and downwards 😺
I gained back most of the 60 pounds I lost in 2023. It's much harder keeping it off than losing it. For me I realize it has to be a change of eating habits, lower processed carbs, reduced portion sizes and no eating after dinner.
Thank you for the update. What great results for what is a difficult time of the year for those of us with weight issues. And you had a holiday thrown in as well. You are looking so good but for me I think the fact that you said your aches and pains were decreasing is the best news.
Well done, Caroline. That’s a fantastic weight loss considering you’ve been on holiday and had Christmas over that period. It’s so interesting hearing about this.
Wow that is a fabulous result, Caroline. So pleased for you. It’s healthy to be a little indulgent for special occasions, that’s living! You smashed it! I can imagine how delighted you are feeling with conquering that festive period. You are looking really well and bright. Keep up the positive mindset. You’re obviously in the zone! I find structure so supportive. I’m struggling a little with still being in the holiday bubble. Going out for lunch so snacking for dinner but then making food for adult kids who are working. Making too much and then having left overs for lunch. It’s a bit of a wicked cycle.
the monjaro/zepbound here in the states can remain unrefrigerated for up to 21 days as long as you keep it in the box if you dont have access to refrigeration
Oh my, you're doing very well, Caroline! While 7.5 mg for me was fine, titrating up to 10 mg was almost life changing. All the food noise disappeared, the pounds started departing, my thinking fog disappeared and I just feel so much better, it's like magic. I have lost 32 pounds in 15 weeks but it was very slow; almost no weight loss until I went to 7.5 in mid October. The dr and I agree that obviously my body doesn't produce enough of the peptides that the jab provides so finally having something to help me after all these years of food deprivation and dieting with no results is almost a miracle. Let's just carry on, shall we?
Well done Caroline 👍🏽Very good win. I’m loving following your Mounjaro journey because I’m on it too at almost the same point. I put on 1llb over the 2 week Xmas and NY period - which I too took as a win. I’m going to go onto 7.5mg next time I order some. Good luck to us and onwards 🌟xx
Well done. You are quite right to still allow yourself to enjoy food on special occasions but still be mindful. I’ve just finished month 3 and going up to 10mg. Have lost 38lbs. Still a long way to go but it’s going in the right direction. ❤
Well done !! Fantastic rersult. I eagerly waited for this update because I'm worried about the nausea side effects I've read about . I wondered if this has affected you ? On one of your previous videos you briefly said you felt a bit sick and had a headache, do you think thids was the mounjaro ? did you experience much of this ? i hope it continues togowellx
Congrats on your weight loss! Ive only been on Mounjaro for 10 weeks (have lost just over 10kgs/22lbs) but I found Mounjaro was fantastic over the xmas period - and beyond - I still have chocolates sitting in the fridge!! That would have been unthinkable a year ago! 😀
There have to be times when you can put the regime to one side and enjoy yourself otherwise life would be miserable! No gain is a fantastic result! I am in mid 3rd pen (5mg) and losing slowly. Not sure whether to accept that or go up to 7.5mg. Told my grown up children and my sisters over Christmas as I felt it would be deceitful to take all the praise for my weight loss. They were all very encouraging which was a relief.
Well done Caroline. I 'm not in a position to buy the injections so I'm back on the 'watch what I eat/calorie counting' , because at the beginning of December my weight crept up to 17st, the highest I've ever been. Today I'm at 16st 2.5lb so not too bad considering the xmas period. Onwards and downwards!
Congratulations Caroline xxx 🎉🎉 i cane back from a two week Mediterranean cruise with a 5lb weight loss. Walking and good choices and enjoying quality food over quantity 🎉🎉🎉xxx your doing fantastic xx
wow you did so well on a cruise and no deserts ... iam loving hearing about this before I jump reason being my appetite is rubbish but can pick ok annoyingly !! well done Caroline xxx
Well done Caroline my progress on Mounjaro is quite slow I’ve lost a stone so far. I’m definitely able to move better and I don’t ache as much. I have a long way to go but I’m getting there. It’s great to see you looking so well.
Wow, well done. I only injected once over December, for a variety of reasons. I’ve had major abdominal surgery and my dr told me to hold off. The day after I did inject, I was as sick as a dog, felt awful. Over Christmas, I have indulged and have noticed that I don’t feel so good after eating things with a high fat content. Butter, my old favourite, is a no-go for me now. Monday is my injection day and so Ii’m back on plan tomorrow and I’m looking forward to it. I gained 3 lbs in all but it should fall off in the next week. Onwards and downwards for us!
That’s fantastic, Well done You. When you say “your provider” ?. Do you not get a prescription from your GP and then get filled at pharmacy. I’m interested to know as Monjaro is not available in Ireland yet and when it is ,it will only be through GP and pharmacy. That applies to private as well as General Medical Services.
Well, done Caroline. Keep up the good work. I’m starting tomorrow (6thJan) on my healthier life style, I need to lose weight and get fitter. I am seriously thinking about starting Mounjaro at some stage too x
Well done you - so admire and envious of your progress- really e enjoyed the outfit vlog on the cruise- you looked fabulous in every thing- as I mentioned in a previous comment your breathing sounds a lot better- I was very concerned about you for a while- keep doing all the vlogs you do - being virtually housebound I find your vlogs really helpful ❤ xx
Well done Caroline, I have just received my first pen today, I hope you will continue to make these videos as it is so useful to hear someone else’s story. Will you show some of your meal ideas please as that is the part I feel I need inspiration for x
I have been on 2.5 mg Zepbound for 8 weeks. I have lost 5 pounds. I will be starting week 9 with 5mg Zepbound. Very snail pace loss. Trying to stay positive. We are all different and respond differently. Wishing you the best!!❤
Happy New Year Well Done with your weight loss so far My doctor mentioned it to me a few months ago and after listening to your couple of videos I am going to give it a try Please keep us updated 🇦🇺😊
Caroline, you look fabulous. Your skin looks lovely, but the biggest difference that I am noticing is your zing and positivity. Brilliant result considering a cruise followed by Christmas. Go girl! x 👌
Wow! 23 pounds is amazing!!! Huge congrats on your success! From one whose weight has been up and down my entire life, I know how hard this is. For me the hardest part is keeping it off, hence the up and down of which I speak. You're an inspiration and I'm going to try to get off the holiday weight just as soon as all the sweets are out of the house 👍 (or I guess I could just toss the rest huh? 🤔)
It's great to hear how well you're doing, Caroline! I'm a month behind you in my use of Mounjaro and am down 15 lbs. I love watching all your videos no matter the topic!
Happy New Year from Canada! Well done Caroline! Congrats on your weight loss journey. I have tried Ozempic twice, but nausea has been so bad I had to stop. Do you have any advice you could share that may be helpful? Thank you. Vicky.
Sorry to hear that Vicky. I haven’t experienced nausea so can’t really help, but have you considered trying one of the other weight loss drugs, as you may not get the same side effects from a different one?
Morning Caroline,thank-you for the up date I'm so pleased for you that you have lost wieght that you are happy on the wieght lose hope it continues I would like it if you could share with us some of the meals you are eating to give me ideas for more healthy options as I my self have lose wieght on calorie counting and I put on 5lb over Christmas and new year but I'm starting back tomorrow on my calorie counting I no I will lose the 5lb fast but need some new meals or should I say Inspection, hope the new year brings all you wish for your self happy new year Caroline and your family ❤xx
Hi Caroline - well done on your latest results - especially over a busy period 😊 Would you please consider doing a compilation video on the various meals (prep/cooking etc) that work for you? I think we all get stuck in a rut with meal planning so your suggestions would be appreciated. Kind regards
Happy New Year Caroline well done on making better choices but also enjoying your NY trip and Christmas. If we are to continue with this change to our eating habits we also need to combine it with enjoying life🙂 l started MJ on 19 December which was probably not the best time to start but l was itching to get going. I’ve lost 6lbs to date which although l’d hoped for more at least my weight is going in the right direction. After seeing your original video mentioning MJ l decided to give it a go and l’m so pleased l did. Do you drink the amount of water suggested? I didn’t see the psyllium link not sure if it’s me or that you didn’t include it. All the best xxxxxx
Wow Mrs M your results are amazing, New York & the cruise alone I mean they are food temptation at it’s height then to go through Christmas & with family which I think you eat more or there is more food around when there are more people. I think it’s impressive to say the least xx
I’ve lost over 3stone love the no food noise . It’s been game changer for me . Definitely stay as long as you can on low dose I’ve only ever gone up to 5mg . Got 8ilbs to goal . Not sure what maintenance is going to look like . But well done 👍
Hi Caroline, many congratulations on your weight loss. I am hoping to start on the mounjaro journey myself in the next couple of weeks (I have managed to get a doctors appointment for next week to check I’m okay to do it). Could you pop a link in for the psyllium husk tablets you are taking please? I know I will have to take some. Would also love a ‘what I eat in a day’ kind of video. Thank you! Enjoying all of your content as always 😊
Well done , as you say a good result. I’ve been on MJ since 9 July , been on a very low micro dose for last month as pretty much at my goal and planning to be off it by end Jan 🤞🏻. My advice would be to stay on the lower dose if you are managing to still lose weight and only go up when you have to - but of course only you will know what’s right for you 👍
This is my third week on mj 2.5 lost 7lbs so perfect. I ordered 0.5mg for second month. I was in two minds as to whether to increase, I think it’s good to stay as low as possible which I’ll do with 0.5. It’s a very interesting experience, I also find it a training ground in terms of understanding choices and behaviour which I’m storing in my memory banks. Ideally 3.5 stone to go. Feel privileged to be able to afford this but I also see it as an overall health need eg cholesterol. Yes I bought less food over Christmas food spend
Glad to see you’re doing well, I am pretty much on the same journey as you, currently on 5mg with one more dose to go before titrating up to 7.5mg. Can I ask, when you went away and didn’t take your pen, was it already an open pen before you left for holidays? I’m only asking as I’m planning a holiday soon and didn’t want to take my pen with me, but worry about the 30day so called shelf life of it once opened , even though it’s kept in the fridge. Thanks
Yes it was already open. I spoke to my provider’s helpline before I went and they said it would be fine as long as I kept it in the fridge, which I always do anyway 😊
Really interesting and informative - thank you. I lasted 3 weeks on the lowest dose. The first 2 weeks were such a relief - no more cravings - I felt free for the first time in years. But in week 3 the nausea became an issue and much like when I had morning sickness, I could only face white carbs😮 which defeated the object. Didn’t lose in that week. Stopped taking it but the nausea continued. It is still there but much less so. The food cravings are not there during the day but terrible in the evenings. I am undecided whether to continue with mounjaro. I am obese and it is a necessity to lose a significant amount of weight. Anyone here also suffer with nausea on mounjaro? And if so, did it pass? Thank you in anticipation❤
You're having good results, I did wegovy for a month and I have to be honest the cost versus the results were just not mathing I couldn't justify nearly £200 for the odd lb here and there.
Well done caroline yr doing so good brillant.how do you know when its time to bop the jabs up a bit yuno order higher mg does it tell you when to top it higher or is it yr own dicision xxx
Well done Caroline just don’t go to far I have seen some people on it and they look positively skeletal and aging not healthy looking. You are a very attractive woman don’t loose that
Official answer. Your Mounjaro single dose pen or vial can be stored unrefrigerated for up to 21 days, not to exceed a room temperature of 86ºF (30ºC). Otherwise, store it in the refrigerator at 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C). Always keep Mounjaro in its original carton to protect it from light.3
Caroline I’ve just seen on todays This Morning 6th Jan that from 23/12 /24 the weight loss injection you use is going to be available on the NHS to people that fill certain criterias.
Great news on the face of it, unfortunately, however, the NHS have been given 12 years to roll it out. Yes, you read that correctly - 12 years. I'm so lucky that I'm able to afford to pay for it, I really feel for those who aren't in a position to do so.
@ Oh crikey Caroline I’m sure the timeline was never discussed!! I guess it’s good to know that the NHS endorses the treatment you are taking and that it’s safe. It’s great that it agrees with you and that you can afford to pay for it. The weight loss is showing on you.
You are looking great , it's noticeable on your face, the weight loss. I was size 16 but heading to type 2 diabetes, I'm on lots of medication for a health problem and the medication puts on weight especially the steroids. Been on diet of small portions no crisps ,cut back on , since April and lost nearly 2 stone and dropped a dress size. Best thing is my bust is much smaller, and I've hated it most of my adult life. I had to bin the baggy clothes which hid my big boob's and the difference is amazing. That's the next thing you have to do Caroline, ditch the baggy clothes you'll be amazed at the difference. I noticed that I can't eat as much now, as if my stomach has shrunk a bit and that helps too. I now eat mostly vegetarian food too. Good luck on your journey, it will be the best thing you've ever done.
@annemackle3625.....well done....but how do you cut out the crisps 😛.......savoury snacks are my downfall, not bothered about sweets and chocolate but would find it really hard to let the crisps go 🤐🤐🤐
I have still eaten a few chocolates 3 months in but no where near as many, just the odd one now and then. I have started adding a 1/2 tsp sugar in my tea as I'm not enjoying it. I still have some sugar cravings so I wonder if I should step up to 7.5 as you are.
Hi. Just wondering why your provider is recommending the pen is refrigerated throughout use? The guidance with the pen is that it needs refrigerated prior to use and once you start to use it, it no longer needs refrigerated for the 30 days after first use. I’m a bit concerned as I’ve watched other youtube reviews which are stating the same about refrigeration but it’s not something I’ve been doing. Would appreciate any information on this. Thanks.
Hi - I'm not an expert and just sharing my own experience. My only advice would be to never rely on anything you hear on UA-cam, or any other social media, regarding prescription drugs. Check with your provider.
Well done..re Christmas shopping I now ask the naturally slim husband what do you want in…..I’ve stopped buying for me. Also just heard a Liz Earle pod cast about carbs post menopause ..so yes they aren’t our friends now..l
I am very interested in this process. I have watched one other video you made about your weight loss plan, but for the life of me I can't remember if you said you were under a Doctor's care taking this drug, and how important do you think it is or isn't? Congratulations I think you did very well with Christmas and a vacation in the timeframe. You have done so very well. Going on a weight loss plan just counting calories I would loose 10 pounds in a month if lucky.
Yes, it’s a prescription drug so has to be prescribed by a doctor, and I have access to medical support through my provider, who also informs my GP surgery every time they prescribe.
A great result for the season, you have done really well, considering holidays, and Christmas. I have been trying just the low carb for quite a few months, was doing well, 9 kg, loss, and without being nearly as social as you over the xmas break, have put on nearly 2kg. My fault, I did buy all those extras, and have been eating them. Had a couple of visits to the dr over xmas for a seperate issue, and blood tests show my cholesterol, has gone way up, I told the dr not to worry about it. 😂 . I love to hear a success story.
Mounjouro etc., will probably need to be taken for life in order to keep off the weight. Sadly weight goes back on if stopped and often goes higher than it was before.

Hi, Mounjaro is not available on the NHS in England for weight loss, so I buy it via private prescription online
A LOT OF PHARMACIES ARE DOING WEIGHT LOSS CLINICS AND SUPPLY MONJARO ABOUT 80 TO 100 POUNDS PER MONTH CHECK GOOGLE
Well, done Caroline. Keep up the good work. I’m starting tomorrow (6thJan) on my healthier life style, I need to lose weight and get fitter. I am seriously thinking about starting Mounjaro at some stage too x
Well done Caroline thank you for sharing your weight loss and I think about doing it I will let you know if I do ❤️xx
Well done Caroline keep it going ❤
Well done Caroline.👏👏👏👏
Excellent Caroline. ❤
Also want to add: you look amazing.
You are looking great Caroline and skin looks lovely.. Well done dear ❤🎉
Thanks for update 😊
Well done Caroline 😊
Happy New Year
Well Done with your weight loss so far
My doctor mentioned it to me a few months ago and after listening to your couple of videos I am going to give it a try
Please keep us updated 🇦🇺😊
Well done Caroline .. such a positive video .. Not on your plan .. but I’m doing so well on the plan I’m doing .. upwards and onwards for 2025 xx
@@vickychartrand167 I’m the same! Had to stop after only 3 weeks as nausea so bad. Not sure if it would have passed if I had given it longer?
Well done xx
Well done on your weight loss. Not easy at this time of year.xx
Very well done 🎉
Hi, link is here amzn.to/4iZQABl :) Yes, I drink a lot of water anyway, so I find it fairly easy to drink the suggested amount
@@CarolineMrsMthank you 👍
Well done Caroline you are looking wonderful 🇦🇺❤️
Wow Mrs M your results are amazing, New York & the cruise alone I mean they are food temptation at it’s height then to go through Christmas & with family which I think you eat more or there is more food around when there are more people. I think it’s impressive to say the least xx
I’ve lost over 3stone love the no food noise . It’s been game changer for me . Definitely stay as long as you can on low dose I’ve only ever gone up to 5mg . Got 8ilbs to goal . Not sure what maintenance is going to look like . But well done 👍
Thanks for video and well done hen good for you ❤
Hi Caroline, many congratulations on your weight loss.
Hi Dawn, link is in the description box under the video and also in the pinned comment at the top of this comment section, it's here amzn.to/4iZQABl
Thanks Caroline, clearly couldn’t see for looking 😅🤦♀️ x
Well you’re looking good Caroline you can see the difference. From before you started the injections ❤
I,always weigh a week or two, after a holiday to let things settle and who needs bad news ? Why get negative news..it works for me.
Psyllium husk …in powder form works well in cereal or yogurt or porridge….Holland and Barrett or Julian graves sell it
Glad to see you’re doing well, I am pretty much on the same journey as you, currently on 5mg with one more dose to go before titrating up to 7.5mg.
Well done Mrs M thats nothing to be snift at a 1 lb gain over Christmas lets face it, its usually 10 lb or more over xmas period so well done xx
Would be interested in seeing your food portion sizes and what you are eating now that you ate before starting Mounjaro
There's another lady in the comments who had to stop because of nausea. It may be worth trying one of the other weight loss brands, maybe?
@ thanks Caroline. Have found the other lady’s post. At least I’m not alone!
Great, you seem so invigorated and look beautiful xx
Well done Caroline just don’t go to far I have seen some people on it and they look positively skeletal and aging not healthy looking. You are a very attractive woman don’t loose that
Caroline you don’t have to keep it cold after it’s opened i keep mine in my bedside table .
My provider recommends keeping it in the fridge.
@@pamelapowell8445 I'll go with my provider's recommendation, but as I always say, everybody should do whatever they are comfortable with :)
I've lost so much weight because I'm gluten intolerant I've had a miserable time over Christmas 👍👍🏴❤️
Sorry to hear that.
@annemackle3625.....well done....but how do you cut out the crisps 😛.......savoury snacks are my downfall, not bothered about sweets and chocolate but would find it really hard to let the crisps go 🤐🤐🤐
@the_grey_lady I had the occasional packet but changed to skips and similar kind, much less calories.
That is great to lose during December!
Caroline what do you take for bowels
She takes psyllium husk for constipation (mentioned in one of her other videos and in this one)
Hi Linda, there's a link in the description box underneath the video to the product I use :)
Hi this link to AG1 does not work the cost is 79?
Hi Anita, I've just double checked the link and it's working fine for me. Let me know if you're still having problems.
Does anyone take MJ for type 2 diabetes, and if so does it help stabilise your blood sugar?
Mounjouro etc., will probably need to be taken for life in order to keep off the weight. Sadly weight goes back on if stopped and often goes higher than it was before.
❤❤❤
