i have managed to get my front splits and almost there with my middle splits because of this workout. Guys, keep at it! Don't give up. The journey of getting the splits is long and hard but when you see progress, you feel so powerful, it feels amazing!
For some reason I really love the way the practices have been ending recently - Juliana suddenly disappears from her mat! As if she's a beautiful fairy who just stopped by to teach us how to treat our bodies and minds well, and now she's off to another benevolent task.
I finished the challenge today!!! My legs were shaking everyday but I'm proud of myself for not giving up. I'm not gonna lie, I'm far from having my splits, however I really progressed with my pyramid pose, my extended triangle pose and also weirdly with my seated forward fold. I can now put my chest again my thighs! When I started yoga about 3 months ago I could barely touch my feet. Thanks a lot for all your hard work Julianna and Mark! Sending you lots of love :)

Peacock Feather hip openers are great for when you are on your period, as are gentle lower back stretches such as cat/cow and childs pose. This yoga should be fine, as long as you are gentle and kind to yourself, and don’t push too hard. :)

My front splits took me about one month to get. My middle splits took me about 2 years of consistant dedication. My doctor told me that my hip bones sit on a curve or something, I actually can't have babies naturally because of this. I think hip bone placement can make a difference in progress.
@@CG-rv9kr wow, sounds like my issue too. We don't have kids due to my hip alignment. I have aways struggled with leg tone too. I don't have pretty legs due to my hips. 😕😔😭
I’m doing this every single evening before I go to bed for a week now. And I think I’ve fight my insomnia! After this routine I feel so relaxed so I immediately fell in a nice deep sleep. Thank you, Juliana! It’s such a blessing❤️
I love this challenge!!🥰 By Day 9, I felt I was going to be flat and then somehow my hamstrings and the muscles directly under the butt got super tight. I felt like my progress on my front splits went backwards while funny enough my middle splits continue to progress. I sit most of the day for my job and used to experience terrible hip and psoas pain. Now after Day 13 I feel much more open in my hips and can sit longer without pain. It has also helped in my sex life too because I'm more flexible in my hips.😌 I will be taking a 14 day break and coming back to this amazing series. THANK YOU JULIANNA!

I was able to do splits when I was super young doing ballet, then I stopped so I wasn't as flexible as before Doing these challenges motivates me to be like how I was before! I felt really good doing these!

just finished, it was a great stretch, just what i needed, im definitely going to do this for a week straight to help relax my muscles 🌺 second day: Complete 🙏🏼 third day: Complete 🙏🏼 fourth day: Complete 🙏🏼 (more difficult, the middle split was a killer) fifth day: Complete 🙏🏼 (easier today but had some sore muscles from yesterdays workout (it was leg day lol)) sixth day: Complete 🙏🏼 i literally lost count cuz i havent updated it, but ive been doing it for about 10days on and off and im literally 1cm off the ground with my front splits, i think i actually might be able to go down completely tomorrow. middle one is still a work in progress, about 15cm of the ground. will continue to update definitely, just not every day.

I'll take pole dance classes in a few months and I want to be able to split or almost split before to go in the class just to gain a little confidence in my capacities. Hi all, I am a pole fitness instructor, fab goal but you do not need the splits for pole. It will of course help with more advance moves, but most ladies I teach can barely tough their toes and still do amazingly :) just sharing so you dont put pressure on yourself and miss out of joining classes sooner :) xx

This channel helped me get my front splits back a few years ago and now that I got into daily yoga during lockdown, I was thrilled to see they had a video for middle splits. One day in and it seems to be working already. I also love that the music in the videos is softer now. Thank you Boho Beautiful.
Day 2: My front splits on the right side felt a bit sore BUT my left hamstring is doing good progress and my front splits on that side were perfect! It's not even my dominant leg! The frog posture almost gave me a cramp so I had to pause the video for 10 secs while I warmed up the right leg a bit more. The middle splits were slightly higher up than yesterday due to soreness. Day 3: Instead of leaning forward, I found it better to gaze forward and use 2 pillows under me during the middle splits instead of one, so that I could focus on getting my legs straight, which they weren't on previous days. It felt like my hamstrings were working better, not harder. Day 4: The 2-day break I took really helped, I discovered I need some variations for the postures right before the middle splits as I sometimes get cramps after the frog posture, I was going too hard on my hamstrings without noticing until the next day. Instead of the warmup here I do a wide legged standing 'hula hoop' warmup and it works a lot better. I only needed 1 pillow below me instead of 2 today! Day 5: My breathing was better today as I begin to know the video by heart. The hula hoop warmup really works wonders and the middle split was at the same stage as yesterday except it felt easier and I could even place my elbows on the ground without hurting. Day 6: My breathing was on point today, I could sort of heel toe my way out of the middle split after a certain point but still had to bend my right knee, and it still takes too long to catch up with the positions before downward dog so my next goal is to get better at that part and then it'll be perfect. Day 7: It was pretty warm today so I hated every second of it but I powered through it. My balance was a bit off but I could sync up almost perfectly with the video, until the heel toe part after the middle splits. But still better than yesterday! It was worth the sweat and discomfort just to see it pay off. Day 8: Not much progress since yesterday but I gotta keep going, be patient and maybe a bit kinder with my inner thighs. Day 9: during the half frog posture it helps to not actually look up so that my neck doesn't hurt and the exercise is more bearable. I am nearly there! Still using a pillow as a prop for my middle split, it doesn't push me enough, but without it my legs aren't straight enough Day 10: Did it without the video as I already know it by heart and I figured it hinders my motivation to listen to the same repetitive stuff haha Day 11: Did it without the video on the terrace, it really improves my breathing to do it at my own pace. I take 5 breaths for each pose, count 30 seconds if it's a yin posture. The cool breeze and view really helped. I used 2 cushions, thinner than the pillow I used before, under my middle split. I could finally properly heel toe my way out, which means my legs must be getting stronger! I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow and I can do it on the terrace again! Day 12: It was so windy out on the terrace but I made it work! Also the jump rope I am doing before as a warmup definitely helps more with the hip and leg cramps. Day 13: Today was awful. Note to self: don't eat between lunchtime and workout time. I could still complete the session but I was wayy slower and heavier.

I add 5 minutes on both side splits on each side as the extra time helps me get go down. I am almost down with 1/4 inch away. The middle splits I have a ways to go but the added 5 minutes is making a huge difference. I am seeing progress. This video is hugely helpful and I encourage people like me to modify as needed. I use yoga blocks to make sure my hips are square as I have the splits but want good form. Thank you!
After this class I was able to put down my heels in downward facing dog easily. I couldnt do it before :) And it felt surprisingly natural! Thanks for this video, I'll try to do it once or twice every day until I reach my goal. Let's see how many days it will take.

Yess, time for legs. I'll try and update when I reach my middle splits. I miss the times it was so easy to stretch legs to reach the splits. Thanks for amazing content. Love and light. Edit: it took more than 2 months to reach middle split, but I did it. Following this class made my legs relaxer and helped to release the ache in my leg muscles after worhout. I always had thick muscular legs after studying karate for years, but I realize that lengthening the muscles helped me to have thinner legs too. It took less than 2 weeks to reach split on left side, 5 months to reach on right side. I had a problem on my right thigh because of a foul in my first karate match I had sore on my right thigh for years. Now I follow this class whenever I force my body to limit and the soreness is going away. Thank you for this incredible class really.

I can hardly touch de ground with my fingers. So my boyfriend and I were joking around and he said he would pay all the costs for our next vaccations if I was able to do the splits within the next 6 months. So here I am… wish me luck😂

I was never a flexible person, and I didn’t even think one day I can do a split. But today I did it, just my front splits but that’s a lot to me already. Mafalda Teixeira I think I followed this video for around 10 days now (or more), at first I must been 20cm from the ground. But before this, I was following many of her videos on increasing flexibility and stretching, you can look for her Yin yoga for stretching, I love them.
I’ve been training flexibility for over a month now and this workout is the one I’ve seen most improvement of. But it’s also, by far the hardest one. But it’s worth it.

I’m a gymnast so I already have my two front splits down but my middle is about 4 inches of the ground and I need to improve that to lower my risk of injury I’ll be doing this stretch at least 4 times a week

I've always wanted to be able to do the splits, this video is perfect as I wanna be able to do both the front and middle splits! I've promised myself to do this stretch every morning when i wake up, giving 30 minutes for myself and reminding myself to be grateful for this journey im on. day 1: my right front splits was so hard to get down, my left front splits is much lower than my right but I hope with time, they both improve. my middle splits was so hard but i really pushed myself, i did have a large gap between my hips and the floor for all my splits, i am not very flexible when it comes to my hips so i'll try to remember to document my progress here !

As a guy who's had his muscles super tight in his hamstrings for 20+ years of the gym with only about a year of stretching during that time when I realized I lost all my flexibility, if this can get me to do the splits in 14 days, you are wizards! lol

This is honestly the best splits video I've come across. I'm feeling optimistic but a girl has struggled (a worthy struggle for sure) I'm really far from the ground and moving from the various positions was hard. My legs are shaking. Haha. I'm sure I'll get better the more I do it.
This is an amazing practice. I'm on day 4 and the relief I feel in my hips is amazing. I have been avoiding training on the splits, well, cause it's hard AF. But this is the motivation I needed and the results are pushing me forward. Thank you💖.
I managed to do all the splits, but by the gods I was sure groaning throughout all of it. Especially with the middle splits. Breathing really helped letting go of the tension and let me fall deeper into the poses. Was pleasantly surprised.
I can't begin to tell you how helpful you have been! I do powerlifting and, for years, I've neglected stretching. During quarantine I've been doing your workouts everyday and I'm now so flexible it's insane! I never thought I'd be able to do the splits but now I do them like it's nothing. Thank you for this amazing session. I've learned the middle splits when I was a child (still can do it) but was never able to do the side splits - I'm not even close!! So I started with this video today and hope to be able to do the side splits whenever I'm ready, there is no rush here.
It´s almost 10 at night, way past my bed time, Today was a busy day and couldn't´t fit this in but I´m committed! I feel I´m letting go of so much through my hips, even if some days I feel like I´m actually getting worse at it, it still feels so good to reach my limits and breath beyond

I love this challenge!!🥰 By Day 9, I felt I was going to be flat and then somehow my hamstrings and the muscles directly under the butt got super tight. I felt like my progress on my front splits went backwards while funny enough my middle splits continue to progress. I sit most of the day for my job and used to experience terrible hip and psoas pain. Now after Day 13 I feel much more open in my hips and can sit longer without pain. It has also helped in my sex life too because I'm more flexible in my hips.😌 I will be taking a 14 day break and coming back to this amazing series. THANK YOU JULIANNA!

i literally lost count cuz i havent updated it, but ive been doing it for about 10days on and off and im literally 1cm off the ground with my front splits, i think i actually might be able to go down completely tomorrow. middle one is still a work in progress, about 15cm of the ground. will continue to update definitely, just not every day.

I'll take pole dance classes in a few months and I want to be able to split or almost split before to go in the class just to gain a little confidence in my capacities. I'm not far from the floor thanks to the previous split challenge you did ! I stretch everyday to achieve my goals and I'm proud of myself to do that. Hi all, I am a pole fitness instructor, fab goal but you do not need the splits for pole. It will of course help with more advance moves, but most ladies I teach can barely tough their toes and still do amazingly :) just sharing so you dont put pressure on yourself and miss out of joining classes sooner :) xx

This channel helped me get my front splits back a few years ago and now that I got into daily yoga during lockdown, I was thrilled to see they had a video for middle splits. One day in and it seems to be working already. I also love that the music in the videos is softer now. Thank you Boho Beautiful.
Day 2: My front splits on the right side felt a bit sore BUT my left hamstring is doing good progress and my front splits on that side were perfect! It's not even my dominant leg! The frog posture almost gave me a cramp so I had to pause the video for 10 secs while I warmed up the right leg a bit more. The middle splits were slightly higher up than yesterday due to soreness.
Day 3: Instead of leaning forward, I found it better to gaze forward and use 2 pillows under me during the middle splits instead of one, so that I could focus on getting my legs straight, which they weren't on previous days. It felt like my hamstrings were working better, not harder.
Day 4: The 2-day break I took really helped, I discovered I need some variations for the postures right before the middle splits as I sometimes get cramps after the frog posture, I was going too hard on my hamstrings without noticing until the next day. Instead of the warmup here I do a wide legged standing 'hula hoop' warmup and it works a lot better. I only needed 1 pillow below me instead of 2 today!
Day 5: My breathing was better today as I begin to know the video by heart. The hula hoop warmup really works wonders and the middle split was at the same stage as yesterday except it felt easier and I could even place my elbows on the ground without hurting.
Day 6: My breathing was on point today, I could sort of heel toe my way out of the middle split after a certain point but still had to bend my right knee, and it still takes too long to catch up with the positions before downward dog so my next goal is to get better at that part and then it'll be perfect.
Day 7: It was pretty warm today so I hated every second of it but I powered through it. My balance was a bit off but I could sync up almost perfectly with the video, until the heel toe part after the middle splits. But still better than yesterday! It was worth the sweat and discomfort just to see it pay off.
Day 8: Not much progress since yesterday but I gotta keep going, be patient and maybe a bit kinder with my inner thighs.
Day 9: during the half frog posture it helps to not actually look up so that my neck doesn't hurt and the exercise is more bearable. I am nearly there! Still using a pillow as a prop for my middle split, it doesn't push me enough, but without it my legs aren't straight enough
Day 10: Did it without the video as I already know it by heart and I figured it hinders my motivation to listen to the same repetitive stuff haha
Day 11: Did it without the video on the terrace, it really improves my breathing to do it at my own pace. I take 5 breaths for each pose, count 30 seconds if it's a yin posture. The cool breeze and view really helped. I used 2 cushions, thinner than the pillow I used before, under my middle split. I could finally properly heel toe my way out, which means my legs must be getting stronger! I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow and I can do it on the terrace again!
Day 12: It was so windy out on the terrace but I made it work! Also the jump rope I am doing before as a warmup definitely helps more with the hip and leg cramps.
Day 13: Today was awful. Note to self: don't eat between lunchtime and workout time. I could still complete the session but I was wayy slower and heavier.
If only she can see me getting out of middle splits... Nowhere near ‘beautiful’ 😅 Thanks for always being so encouraging at the most crucial moments Juliana ❤️

I add 5 minutes on both side splits on each side as the extra time helps me get go down. I am almost down with 1/4 inch away. The middle splits I have a ways to go but the added 5 minutes is making a huge difference. I am seeing progress. This video is hugely helpful and I encourage people like me to modify as needed. I use yoga blocks to make sure my hips are square as I have the splits but want good form. Thank you!
After this class I was able to put down my heels in downward facing dog easily. I couldnt do it before :) And it felt surprisingly natural! Thanks for this video, I'll try to do it once or twice every day until I reach my goal. Let's see how many days it will take.

Edit: it took more than 2 months to reach middle split, but I did it. Following this class made my legs relaxer and helped to release the ache in my leg muscles after worhout. I always had thick muscular legs after studying karate for years, but I realize that lengthening the muscles helped me to have thinner legs too.
It took less than 2 weeks to reach split on left side, 5 months to reach on right side. I had a problem on my right thigh because of a foul in my first karate match I had sore on my right thigh for years. Now I follow this class whenever I force my body to limit and the soreness is going away.

I was never a flexible person, and I didn’t even think one day I can do a split. But today I did it, just my front splits but that’s a lot to me already. Mafalda Teixeira I think I followed this video for around 10 days now (or more), at first I must been 20cm from the ground. But before this, I was following many of her videos on increasing flexibility and stretching, you can look for her Yin yoga for stretching, I love them.
I’ve been training flexibility for over a month now and this workout is the one I’ve seen most improvement of. But it’s also, by far the hardest one. But it’s worth it.

I’m a gymnast so I already have my two front splits down but my middle is about 4 inches of the ground and I need to improve that to lower my risk of injury I’ll be doing this stretch at least 4 times a week

I've always wanted to be able to do the splits, this video is perfect as I wanna be able to do both the front and middle splits! I've promised myself to do this stretch every morning when i wake up, giving 30 minutes for myself and reminding myself to be grateful for this journey im on.
day 1: my right front splits was so hard to get down, my left front splits is much lower than my right but I hope with time, they both improve. my middle splits was so hard but i really pushed myself, i did have a large gap between my hips and the floor for all my splits, i am not very flexible when it comes to my hips so i'll try to remember to document my progress here !

This is honestly the best splits video I've come across. I'm feeling optimistic but a girl has struggled (a worthy struggle for sure) I'm really far from the ground and moving from the various positions was hard. My legs are shaking. Haha. I'm sure I'll get better the more I do it.

I managed to do all the splits, but by the gods I was sure groaning throughout all of it. Especially with the middle splits. Breathing really helped letting go of the tension and let me fall deeper into the poses. Was pleasantly surprised.

During quarantine I've been doing your workouts everyday and I'm now so flexible it's insane! I never thought I'd be able to do the splits but now I do them like it's nothing. Thank you for this amazing session. I've learned the middle splits when I was a child (still can do it) but was never able to do the side splits - I'm not even close!! So I started with this video today and hope to be able to do the side splits whenever I'm ready, there is no rush here.
It´s almost 10 at night, way past my bed time, Today was a busy day and couldn't´t fit this in but I´m committed! I feel I´m letting go of so much through my hips, even if some days I feel like I´m actually getting worse at it, it still feels so good to reach my limits and breath beyond
