Hey friends... ❤️ Remember to PLEASE listen to your body and be patient with yourself, increasing flexibility is a unique journey for each of us. Please share your experience, progress, and success stories here in the comments and on instagram with the hashtag #bohobeautiful ! Love and Light to you all!! Oh..... And all information on the challenge can be found here: bohobeautiful.life/splits-challenge/
GO SLOWLY AND CONTROL YOUR BREATHING, WHEN IT HURTS TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND STOP WHEN YOU FEEL YOU HAVE REACHED THE MAXIMUM STRETCH! That is the trick, otherwise you may end up hurting yourself pretty seriously, AND YOU DON'T WANT THAT =) Set gradual goals for yourself, ballet and all the exercises that revolve around it take time. What you do EVERY DAY is what makes the difference, if you overwork you may risk injury or simply give up because you are not giving the body enough time to gradually adapt to such a big change. Hope this helps! Best wishes =)
I am! I’m on day 10 and I think I will be able to reach a full split on my left leg pretty soon. Right leg is still a bit off. Anyone else feeling a bit sore in the muscles just below the glutes?
All I can say is “WOW!!!” I completed this challenge about 3 weeks ago to work on my tight hamstrings only to realize they were overstretched and my hip flexibility and glutes needed work. I was able to get fairly close to the floor by the 14th day. Since that time, I’ve worked through as many Boho Beautiful hips and flexibility practices to help work on improving my weak areas. Today, I started this challenge again. Lo and behold, I went right down into a full frontal split. I was shocked, surprised and giddy with joy. I haven’t done this since I was 5 years old and I’m 53 and have had various injuries. This was so unexpected and also motivating me to challenge myself even more. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Juliana. I am forever grateful. Much love and light to you!!! P.S. I followed your advice...”Let it go, release what no longer serves you” and “Listen to your body”
I am taking this challenge. I am 59 years old and determined to do full splits before I am 60. I have attempted this goal with other videos and I say I am about 7 to 8 inches on both sides. One thing I noticed that I have not been doing correctly is keeping my back straight. I am using yoga blocks now to make sure I am and can already feel a difference. Gonna do it !!!
I’ve done this video for like, at least months like probably a year now and this totally got me my splits. 💯 good luck Edit: I’m not saying it’s gonna take a year it didn’t take me a year. Im back to the video bc I’m just coming back from a knee dislocation. but I’m almost 40 and that was one of my goals for 40.
@@tifstar700 Yay so glad you kept up the commitment and did it and doing it again. I am so close now down to about 3 inches on both sides.. HAHAHA depeds on the day...
I'm so excited!! I'm 47 years old and I've never been able to do the splits in my life. I couldn't get rid of my episodic migraines so I made this splits yoga routine my new year's resolution... I felt I needed something I could achieve with my body because I couldn't fix my head. I've been doing it since 1 January about 4-5 times a week when I didn't have migraines, and when I started I was 12cm off the ground. It took me 2.5 months to get my right side splits. Everybody is different. Consistency is essential. Update (13 April): I've just managed the splits on my left side, so that's taken 3.5 months to get both sides. I hope this helps older non-bendy people get an idea of how long it might take. Note that this wasn't all I was doing. I was doing at least one other yoga routine daily for general fitness when I didn't have a migraine. Thank you Boho Beautiful!
Oh no, hope you are better now. I have had that as a teenager and it was awfull. Just be careful and don't push past your limits. Listen to your body, we are all different and each of us will take different amount of time to achieve this. 😊
I’m going to do the full programme for the 14 days! I desire to be super flexible to further my skills as a competitive swimmer. I want to be completely in control of my body and learn to move in the most efficient way. I also enjoy gymnastics and I’m an avid yogi! Taking on this challenge will be hard but I’m excited and I will update everyone here! DAY 1: Felt pretty good, I’d say I’m about 5 inches away from my right splits and 8 inches away on my left splits. Super excited for tomorrow!
Advice for you: Try this after yoga/workout when you have warmed up, it feels much nicer and easier. Also after the first time i was at 8cm with my better side and about 12cm with my worse side, i have never been so close and really just staying in one position (even tho it doesent feel good) and just breathing gets you so much closer after this routine. And the closer the floor you are, the easier is to push yourself. I know it feel terrible at first but after few times it will be much easier! Stay consistent
100 percent agree with this tip about warming up first. I tried this first thing in the morning and when she started easing down into the splits, I was like-- ok, nope, I am not warm up enough to do this without hurting myself.
I've started 1 week ago and I can do the split on the right side and in the left I'm so close to get there. If You do the exercise in the challenge, you will see result soon! Thank you Boho, form Italy.
I've been doing this every day for 4 days now and I already see so much improvement! The first 2 days I felt like I was so far off, and my hips were so sore in the morning, but the 3rd day I noticed a very slight improvement, and today I did this twice through and felt like I could get so much deeper into the stretches! I'm still pretty far off from the splits but I'm closer than I was before, thanks for the routine!
I will update every day soooo.. Day1 Hurts!!! Day 2 It still hurts but I've made an improvement Sorry for not updating u guys its been like 3 months I haven't got my splits but I'm confident I will get it at the end of the year every day I stretch and get closer and closer to doing it .keep trying I hope you get yours quicker than mine Everyone has different bodies and some are more flexible than others so don't give up and push past your limits like what I'm doing cause it works
Thank you so much Juliana. I’ve been using your splits videos routinely since March, it’s now end of June and I can do front splits on both sides. It’s something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid and now I’m 25 and I can finally do them :-) I’ve learned so much from you, thank you so so much!
Her split workout actually works. I was doing her yin yoga mostly everyday for nearly 2-3 weeks and now I am just 2-3 cm far. It felt so good. P.s.- I was 8 cm before.
Prerna Jasti any one in her channel! I got the same experience. I was basically just standing with my legs open at first. After doing her yin yoga class for a while I am now about 3cm on my left side.
I tried this one year ago when you firstly posted this video and gave it up during the split process. Back then I could hardly touch my ankle in forward fold. But I continue to do your other workouts and programs since then. When I accidentally found that I am very close to a full split while doing one of your recent stretch class, I came back to this challenge. It’s my day 3 today and I’m just few centimeters away from the full split. The calf of my leg in front is touching the ground now! So grateful for your class.
I'm 14 years old and I am going to make an update everyday as well. So I've already been doing stretching for splits for about 2 months now so I'm a bit closer to the ground than a person who has started for the first time. Day 1: very painful in my right hamstring. 15 cm above the ground. Will update Tom. Day 2: I had pain in my hamstrings so I did a little less stretching than yesterday. Still no difference. Day 3: I did the stretching. Had a lot of pain so no difference. Day 4: No difference. Day 5: A little bit of difference, maybe a centimetre or two. But I'm not going to give up guys!!! Day 6: skipped because I got lazy. Day 7 (1st week completed): I did stretching, saw no difference in the splits. Day 8: No difference. But I feel a bit more motivated now.🙂 Day 9: My right hamstring was quite sore so instead of sliding into a split, I did a little hamstring stretches. Day 10: skipped because of too much homework. Day 11: Stretching, a little bit of less pain Day 12: skipped again because of laziness Day 13: I pushed and pushed and saw quite a difference.😊 Day 14: skipped because of pain. Day 15: I did less stretching Day 16: Same as day 13, but no difference. Day 17: Skipped Day 18: Skipped Day 19: Lost a centimetre of progress due to skipping 😭 I stretched. Day 20: I got back the lost centimetre...Yes I stretched. I think I need to stretch everyday a little bit instead of falling into the splits after every 2 days) Day 21: stretched a little bit, I skipped sliding into a split though 😅 Day 22: I did the split, and pushed real hard and was 1 centimetre above the ground. Yeahhhh!!!!! Day 23: I stretched and did the split, and this time I pushed hard wayyyyy past my limits (with a lot of pain of course) and was able to touch the ground. But it might take me about 2-3 weeks to do a full split comfortably without pains 😥. But I'm quite happy about it!!! Day 25: I couldn't push that much so I wasn't able to touch the ground. :( Will update tomorrow. Day 26: I think I shouldn't have pushed wayyyyy too hard becuz I lost 1 inch today, I haven't been able to push that much these past 3 days.... Please everyone, don't push that hard like me. Thankfully I didn't get injured. I think I need to be a little more patient. Will update tomorrow. 😥😥😥 Day 27: Skipped as I was exhausted....it was a loooong day...😑 Day 28: I pushed, and pushed and I was very very very close to the ground!! Day 29: I pushed, and pushed, and pushed wayyyyy wayyyyy wayyyyy past my limits and was successful in touching the ground (but very painful). TT omg, these are tears of joy. I am hopeful I will be comfortable in doing the full splits in 2 weeks. Wish me luck guys!! You all haven't even commented since the past 2 weeks. Day 30:
remember it takes of time, and you will not see a difference immediately, but everyday you do it you get a little more flexible. Also the pain should be more of a soreness, not sharp:)
@@pkshez hi, I can do full split now but only one side. Still working hard on the other side, about 20cm to go...long way to go. I will keep following this training every night. I suggest to add one more set of pigeon pose, will help you get the split faster. Don't give up!!😊
Ive started too and it's been really good, i also use a video called instense middle split routine (or maybe workout, i cant remember) using both has been making me extra flexy but im missing my upper body yoga
I’ve been doing this for like a month or two now, I can feel that one muscle starting release I’m excited 😆 almost to the floor thank you for this challenge
I did this every other day ish for around 2 weeks and got the splits! I think I could have gotten them sooner, but I went slowly and used yoga blocks. So excited as I have genetically very tight hips and hamstrings, so if I can do it, you can too.
Day 2. Feels pretty good. I try to be careful, you never ever want to tear, slow and steady is the deal. My hip flexor feels like it has nowhere to go, like it can’t possibly move forward more. It so difficult for me to go at a slower pace, I have always had difficultly holding still if I don’t feel productive enough. So this is a big mental and physical challenge for me. I am somewhat naturally flexible, so we will see how this progresses.
Finally got my splits today!! 😍 These videos really do work! It took me 5 weeks, I started really high of the ground and very stiff from office work so these stretches were perfect. Staring the new middle splits one tomorrow! ✨
This challenge has helped me so much. I started last year, stopped for a while, and started back up again. I'm on day 12 and have seen major improvements. Even after I finish the challenge, I'm going to do all the videos again since they allow for such amazing relief in the body. Thank you so much Boho Beautiful!
I'm already quite flexible but wasn't able to do full split there used to abe around 2 inches gap between me and the mat. 5 days in and I did split with the right leg and soon will be able to do with the left leg. Update:- Done with the left leg as well 😊 Thankuuu so much ❤️
That was wonderful. It’s my day one and I have never sweated like this before. I am practicing hatha yoga for last one month and today decided to do this. I was almost there. I will update this whenever I am able to do the full split. Thanks once again. 🙏🏻
Hello! I’m Mariana and I’m a dancer of both ballet and irish dance, I’m going to comment how my progress comes and see how long it takes me to reach my full splits :) Day 1: I don’t feel that flexible and I’m like 3-4 cm away from the floor and my left leg is less flexible than my right. I need to be patient and I hope I improve. Day 2: I still fell in the same position but I need to still be patient. Day 3: I felt an improvement, I warmed up more my legs and when she said to push one hip forward and the other to the back I lowered more my splits.
So, I accepted this challenge today. Will update my progress daily. Day 1: somewhere around 22- 23 centimetre away from the ground. The transition from low lunge to half split and coming back from the split was not smooth enough Day 2 : my hamstrings were paining. So, practiced 6 rounds of surya namaskar, followed by some hamstring stretches and asanas. Day 3: did some hamstring stretches. Day 4: practiced this stretches with the help of blocks and strap. Day 5: kind of started enjoying this practice. Used blocks and strap. No difference in splits. Day 6: sudden pain in my right leg, while pushing it back to hold the split, stopped the practice there itself. Day 7: practice done with blocks (low height this time) Day 8: practice done! cant feel difference in splits, may be I need to push myself a bit more. but was feeling more comfortable with the practice. Day 9: practice done! can feel a slight difference in splits. Day 10 : 👍 Day 11: didn't do Day 12: 👍 Day 13: break

July 10 : ✅ idk but I feel like I’m not making a lot of progress 😓 July 11 : ✅ almost missed today’s practice.. but consistency!! July 12 : ✅ seeing real improvement in my right split! July 13 ✅ enjoying this practice a lot! July 14 ✅ soo close to my right split!! July 15 ✅ didn’t see a lot of improvement from yesterday July 16 ✅ warming up my muscles before helped a lot! I haven’t gotten my split yet but I’m getting closer 😊 4 aug ✅ took a week long break to give my muscles a long rest. Felt so much less pain today. And again..very close to my right split 🥳 5 aug ✅ feeling like I’m not progressing a lot. But it’ll get there.
Tezeth _13 hi! I took a week off practice because my hamstrings and hip muscles were getting really strained and I didn’t want to risk an Injury at this time. I started again today and I am very close to my right splits!
I am on day 8, feeling so much flexible! I think I will get the full splits by the end... so happy and grateful. Thanks Juliana and Mark for making this wonderful challenge.
I'm a yoga instructor, so I truly appreciate this! I already have my splits, but I still love this practice. The splits are such a wonderful pose to master for increased flexibility. To everyone attempting to get their splits: please remember to give yourself grace above all. This challenging pose takes time, so be kind to yourself during the process. With consistency, I promise - YOU WILL SEE RESULTS. Just remain positive and patient! You can do it!
Day one complete! I had no idea how tight my hips truly were until I walked around after this practice. I felt so much relief! I will definitely try my best to do this every day until I can finally do the splits. I encourage all of you to not give up. We’ve got this!
I have started this challenge Day 1: I am about 11 inches above from ground. Day 2: It hurts my hips and back is sour, but I did Day 3: Wow! I am 9 inches above from the ground I'll keep updating for next 11 days Keep motivating!
Split journal I will start this today and let you know about my progress. Edit: Day 1: it is a very nice workout, I enjoyed very much. I did it in the morning after I woke up. It hurt when I sat in split position, for me personally extra warm-up is needed, because my body is very stiff in the morning. I am approximately 20 cm far from the floor with my hips. I will definitely continue the next days 😊. My flexibility level: I do hatha yoga or ashtanga on a regular base 2X a week for 2 years and I can reach with my forehead my knees. Day 2: it hurts a lot.
I’ve been doing this for two weeks now and I already feel a difference. I’ve always thought I wasn’t flexible but this is helping so much !! Here’s my progress: Day 1 - 37 cm, really difficult but great stretch Day 6 - 28 cm, getting better but still hurts Day 9 - 24 cm, still getting better ! Day 14 - 23 cm, hurt a little Day 15 - 22.5 cm, took a break for a few days. My legs were really sore, but it felt good to stretch! I’ll update this as I keep going ;)
@@crabdips Still working for it! Some bodies are just not made for the splits but we can work towards getting more flexible physically which leads to our mental state improving and bettering. Hope you find yourself in this journey too. :)
I was so frustrated that I can't do the splits!!But now I'm so happy that I had found a wonderful video that really really helps me to get better day by day!!!Hopefully I can do the full split in a few more days!!! Thank you so much!!!❤️ Don't be sad if you can't get the full split in just 14 days..It only depends on the body like how flexible you are!!! You're not the only person who can't get it!! I'm one of it and also there are a lot of members who can't do it!! So don't give up until you reach your full split!! All the very best to each and everyone of you who had started!!! Don't ever give up!!❤️
So I started dancing from a really young age just as a hobby but I've always struggled with my flexibility. But I have more time now so I'm gonna leave udates! Let's see if I can pull this off ;) Day 1: I'm really stiff because I haven't danced of stretched for almost a year however I was never far away from a split. Today I was sore from my workout and I was really bumped to see how much of my flexibility had disappeared. When you sit with your legs in front of you and you reach out to grab your feet, normally I had no problem touching them hell I could almost touch my knees with my head. Today I could bearly reach my toes 😅. But I'm not gonna give up ;)
Stefania Welvaert Any updates? I danced in 8th grade, did ballet for a year, was super unflexible when I started since I was already “old and stiff” compared to dancers at that age lol. My ballet teacher would sit on each of us to push us further down, which helped a lot. I was only able to do full splits on my left leg once after a year. Started this yesterday after my bones felt crazy stiff and I’m usually 4” away from splits in general, but I was like 6” away this week so trying to get down from there. My goal this year is to do the splits in maybe 2-6 months and get better with middle splits but I’ve always been like 1.5 feet away from middle splits lol.
Juliana and Mark! What an awesome video. I have no reason to DO the splits, no one to impress, I'm not on a sports team, I'm not taking dance classes. But this was so amazing for releasing the negative emotions and memories around the hips! My hips did not reach the floor but just practicing was the perfect stretch for me. This was calming, grounding, and I feel great. This video helped achieve everything I have come to expect from my time on the mat
I'm planning for tommorow and my plan is to get up early and just get it over with. In the morning I won't be fully awake so I won't have to feel the pain :(
I've been using this sequence a few times a week for the past 2 weeks and have finally started to see and FEEL progression. tysm for taking the time & energy to make these videos. they've helped me so much x
I finally did the splits on my left leg today (my stiff leg) after 12 days of this video. Thank you so much Juliana for guiding me so majestically and teaching me breath work for relaxation. I feel so good to finally achieve this goal ❤ Thank you
Done with this challenge! I am so happy with my progress .. almost 2-3 inches left to go ! 🙌🏾 so thankful to you ‘ ❤️ Quarantining with your yoga sessions 🧘🏼♀️
Hello ppl. This workout felt good. I never sat on a split before, but I was very close to getting in one. But because of corona, my splits got lost. Now I’m here doing this workout to get my full splits finally! I will try keep y’all updated🥰🤞Hope I will achieve my goal! 💙🥰😉 Day 1: Hurts. Didn’t stretch for ages)) Day 2: stretches much nicer but still high off the ground. Hurts a tiny bit less.

I loved your review! It helped me alot and to see someone else (a Muslim) doing it made me motivated to learn the splits I appreciate you writing this and I also wanted to ask did you get your split ? Love you 💕 have a nice day and very late Eid Mubarak
Well, I've decided to do this from March 13th. I will do the 14-day challenge in the description. I'm not a beginner, but I am not at the advanced level either. I tried a 3-month program before, nowadays I was doing a 30-minute stretch routine. So now I'm almost 7-8 cm from the ground. Day 1: In general, it was not that difficult, as it contained movements that I had previously made. I had a little difficulty with some new moves. Although the second video was longer, it was more comfortable. It was not easy, but it was not difficult either. Day 2: It seemed harder than yesterday. Im 6 cm from the ground Day 3: Done!! Day 4: it's kinda difficult but done Day 5: Done!
Hi Boho Beautiful! Have taken the 14days split challenge, have been practicing Yoga for quite some time now, but the videos that you have put out are soooo sooo beautiful and relaxing! And really appreciate the fact that you have tried to add in some new pose in every video. Im enjoying all the stretches. Sending you gratitude all the way from India😀
Started June 20th! Day one - I’ve already been doing basic stretches for five months so my fingertips can touch the ground, hopefully by the end of the two weeks it will improve! I’ll update you!
Today was my first day trying this. I will try to do this everyday and I will try to update everyday. Days: 1: Hurt and couldn’t do most of the movements 2: I got most of it done
Doing this challenge until hopefully I get my splits Background: I’m 18 years old and not flexible at all can’t even sit with crossed legs 🧘♀️ Jan\12: ✅completed (I’m so far away from the floor) Jan\13: ✅ Jan\14:✅ Jan\15:✅ Jan\16:✅ Jan\17: ✅ my left side is getting closer to the ground my right side still feels very tight Jan\18:✅ Jan\19:✅ Jan\20: skipped because of pain Jan\21:✅ very smooth practice today (I did warm up)
4/28: Day 1- Just completed my first day, definitely high off the ground. Lol but can’t wait to see some improvement. Definitely don’t think I’ll have splits in 14 days but I’m ready to fall in love with the journey. Thanks for these vids! By the way, starting my splits journey at 29, ive never been able to do splits, like my entire life. Let’s see where this takes me. 4/29 Day 2: I noticed my hamstrings were less stiff. I try to do yoga in the morning and at night and feel longer in the other sessions. Less tight in Downward Dog. Also yesterday, the splits were so hard for me, I kept thinking when is this over? But today I was able to breathe into the poses more. 4/30 Day 3: I’m able to breathe easier into each exercise. I started using a strap for the beginning exercises to deepen the range. 5/1 Day 4: skipped today 5/2 Day 5: because I skipped yesterday I’m doubling up today. Just wrapped a session. A tad tighter today but I can still see improvement in the movement. I’m able to hold positions longer without cringing and relax deeper into the poses. My soaz muscle must be opening up (yay!) 2nd round (day 6 makeup): I’m able to go a little deeper. I’m starting to feel sore in my hamstrings. 5/3 Day 7: still at it! I notice I am deeper on my right side. I’m still high up but on my right side I was able to get my heel flat on the ground, progress! 😁 my hands can’t touch the floor yet though.
Starting today! Background: I do yoga every now and then but since yesterday I have decided to do it everyday for a year. I am flexible to some degree but not super flexible. I have never been able to do the splits and I’m very far from the ground at this point. DAY 1: I am very far from the ground but I have been motivating myself by envisioning where I could be in 1 months time! I definitely felt a deep stretch! DAY 2: my muscles ache a little today because I have been doing another yoga session as well, so I didn’t want to push myself too far. I always feel great after doing this because I never realise how tight my legs are until I start. Obviously no major improvements yet but that’s what I’m working towards! :~D DAY 3: my body is still a little sore today, and so I didn’t push too hard. Again no major improvements as of yet but I do feel I can achieve more of a stretch in some of the poses :) DAY 4: legs feeling much better today. I didn’t realise there were other videos you were meant to be doing as well as so I will be starting those from now on too! DAY 5: my body was a little sore today and I didn’t want to ache any more so I decided to have a break today
MareMoves I’m glad to hear that! Unfortunately at the moment I have decided to give myself a few days break because I have pulled a few muscles from other things but I will get straight back into it once they feel good again! But don’t let this demotivate you :D
I've always wanted to fully do the splits but I've never been able to do them.... So I started today and I'm going to write about my progress!! 1.day:✔️41cm AWAY! it was hard for me and my legs were hurting😩. I weren't able to perfectly do all the stretches. (sometimes I were trying so hard that I forgot to breathe but hey... I'm still alive😂❤️. Day 2:I couldn't do it today Day 3:➖ Day 4:➖ I'm not going to stop cause I want them so bad!!!❤️ let's do this!!! Feel free to like so I remember to write about the progress❤️
it can be done depending on how you work, what people need to understand is that before you attempt to do the splits you have to prepare the hamstrings and the hips before even thinking about hitting the split position, the period in which it takes to get the split can depend on a few things like how flexible your body is and how often you work at it, but you will also need to follow a good tutorial to achieve it my new Yt channel specializes in stretching from beginners level to advanced level you're welcome to try them out
I am so happy, I just finished the 14 day challenge, and my right leg split is perfect now...in the left side I really got better too, but it’s still not straight... I am going to do the challenge again, starting from tomorrow, to make my splits more better. Thank you so much for this, I love working out!❤️
Thank you so much for this 14 day challenge series! It helps me practice every day without thought: "I'll skip my workout, because I don't know what to do now" 😄 Every day I'm so grateful that your project brings me joy, helps to be more disciplined and mindful 😊
Yay! After only one day, I can already feel the difference! I've been stretching for weeks, but I finally decided to do this, and I'm already a lot more flexible
I was finally able to do my left front split today. It‘s not perfect yet, but the feeling of actually touching the ground was great. It did take several months, and I will continue stretching to get even more flexible 🙂
I'll update my progress here for as long as needed. Backstory: I have decided I want to be a contortionist (as a hobby I think). I'm very inflexible and can fit 3 pillows for the side split (both legs). I'm 2 months shy of 15 so I'm starting at not the earliest age but better than never. Day 1: This was fun, my balance is very bad and I'm very unflexible. It hurt but in a good way. I'll come in tomorrow Day 2: I got a fever on top of the cough I've had. I'm pushing through though, pushing through my tears. I ended up taking a break halfway as my mother brought me smoothie😊 Day 3: I wanna puke. But I did it Day 4: I already see a lot of improvement and I still haven't felt sore or gotten damaged! My sister told me I was super close today😋 Day 5: It kinda hurt today. But good news! I can fit *2* pillows under my side split now!! Day 6: Whoohooo! I'm close! Give me 2 more weeks yall! Day 7: Skipped Day 8: Oh boy, that felt great! I'm closer than I was two days ago😊 Day 9: Took a well deserved break Day 10: I went much further today. I'd say I got about 6-8 cm left. It certainly helps when you feel like physical pain isn't worth acknowledging👍 Day 11: Ahaha, was a little depressed yesterday. Anyways, I don't think I went any lower today, if anything I stopped a little higher. But I'm confident I'll at the very least get it within the next 8 weeks. Very least I say! Earliest is possibly in a week or two but I'm determined, I won't give up. Day 12: I sort of did it? Not really, like I did the postures but not long at all. A few seconds maybe. I just can't. It's kind of boring... but relaxing. But it doesn't work for me as I'm always not-relaxed. I can't sleep for gods sake! But I did kind of do them😫 Day 13: Skipped Day 14: Skipped Day 15: I'm back and hoooolyy. I'm close. I'd say in about 4 days I'll make it. But idk, might not. My sister praised me again😊😋😚 (Normally she's very jealous but she doesn't have any interest in the splits for herself so I think that's why) Day 16: Yah yah yah yah. Close. And doesn't feel as uncomfortable. Not there yet though Day 17: Ho-Lee Fuk. I'd say I'm a finger away! Day 18: Skipped Day 19: Skipped Day 20: Skipped (Yeaaah, ahahaha😅) Day 21: I'm back and did it Day 22: Skipped Day 23: Thinking I should stop skipping. Also, I've been stuck on 7-8 cm for a while now and realized I haven't been relaxing into the pose but rather pushed myself in it. Changing methd now Day 24: Skipped Day 25: ✅ Day 26: ✅ Day 27: ✅ Gah, I'm getting frustrated! I can literally force my way down but I'm too scared.. Day 28: ✅ YES! I ASKED MY SISTER TO PUSH ME DOWN (LITTLE SISTER)AND I GOT IT! but I can't keep it by myself BUT I GOT IT! Later: I seemed to have pulled my left hamstring (When u celebrate too early🤦♀️), anyways my righy split is just fine🙂 I'm gonna work on my left when it's healed
Such a great idea to have a goal at this difficult time of lockdowns to keep focused. Mine is to do the splits, thank you Boho Beautiful for your instruction and encouragement. It may take months even years but hey what an achievement. A journey starts with the first step, loving the journey!
Wow this routine is amazing I was like doing the exercises and wondering how much I still need to do (it felt like 3minutes) but then I saw that we have already done this for 14 minutes
Sending you love and happiness (: I have always struggled doing my front and middle split. I used to do yoga in school and participate in various competitions and I could never do splits. I used to procrastinate and give up half way but today I can very easily get into my front split and it just took 17 days of dedication and never giving up spirit. I am so happy today, can't stop seeing my video doing splits. Big thanks to you and the instructions, it kept pushing me forward. For once in life I enjoyed pain. It was sooo good, still long to go. I can now practice my middle splits. Thankyou so much, keep inspiring. Lots of love and good health to you❤
been working on this for a couple weeks (not super consistently but have been doing other workouts in between) and I'm getting closer and closer every day! huge improvement from when I started
@@ramolaesther3506 actually it works yes!!!! I got my good leg split in a week and my bad leg split I got in like 3 weeks, so if u are already only few centimeters off the ground you'll definitely be able to get it in 14 days
wow this actually works..for years i havebeen trying to achieve full split.although i can barely do a full split only on my left side, been struggling witj my right..i kept trying and it never improved..after 3, 4 class of this i am in full split today, both sides!!!!...i am writing this just after completion of the routine..i am so happy...i ll keep practicing this routine till i do split without fear..
Thank you so much. This is exactly what my body needed. I've been battling with tight hips and hamstrings. You're a blessing to us all. Love and Light!

Saaaame
Be slow with the pose. First day I struggled too after some days it got a little better ♥️
Sometimes we keep a lot of emotions stored in our hips. Keep at it 💜
Lmao me
Guys I started 20 centimetres away to get a split and in this 14 days I've made it to 8 centimetres!!!!
Congrats i am going to try this
Thats so cool! Did you keep practicing?
how's you split going made any progress?
How? Did you used to have splits?
ok sis !
Love this! Who else is trying to get the splits in quarantine?
Me
Me too!
Me 2!!
I am! I’m on day 10 and I think I will be able to reach a full split on my left leg pretty soon. Right leg is still a bit off. Anyone else feeling a bit sore in the muscles just below the glutes?
Me! Lol. Good luck to us!
This is fantastic!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤
I am taking this challenge. I am 59 years old and determined to do full splits before I am 60. I have attempted this goal with other videos and I say I am about 7 to 8 inches on both sides. One thing I noticed that I have not been doing correctly is keeping my back straight. I am using yoga blocks now to make sure I am and can already feel a difference. Gonna do it !!!
I’ve done this video for like, at least months like probably a year now and this totally got me my splits. 💯 good luck
Edit: I’m not saying it’s gonna take a year it didn’t take me a year.
How is your progress? 😊
Here because I want to learn the WAP dance but need to start with the splits first
Omg 😭 Good luck to your knees, they’re gonna be sooo bruised istg
Oh my God 😂all the best
Oh my God 😂all the best
Nah sis I'm tryna split for my man! Lmao let's get it
Did you finally manage with the WAP dance😊, @chenaraseepersad3482
Dear stranger,
no, you are not the only one who can't do this! We are in this together :)
Love,
Me
thank you 💕
I’m like number 100 😂
I will make it😚
Dupiti #10# I made it!
Guys this is really so helpful...... now I’m in my splits! ❤️
Jen Phillips Congratulations! What an amazing accomplishment!
Sophia Alvarez Thank you!
Congrats! I also have episodic migraines and have been working on the splits since the start of the year, so I feel you.
justicedinosaur that's so cool! Congratulations and best wishes. It's hard af, and I only manage one side some of the time.
Wow, that is awesome! I just started last week so I could gain flexibility and I am still very far off but your progress is encouraging!
I tried to do splits and I tore my hamstring on Dec 17 and I am still recovering 😫 please don't force into splits and listen to your body!!!!!
My worst nightmare, that shit must hurt like hell. Get well soon!
Are you better now? When do you think you can come back to this training?
Oh no, hope you are better now. I have had that as a teenager and it was awfull. Just be careful and don't push past your limits. Listen to your body, we are all different and each of us will take different amount of time to achieve this. 😊
You really have to listen to your body during streches, pressure it's normal, pain is a stop sign
Sorry dear
I came here for training, but ended up in the comments for 30 minutes. You're gold guys hahaha
Took me 90 days to hit the floor and happy with it. Thank you! I’ll keep going 😅
Was that with doing only this video?
Stay consistent
i was gonna like this but ur at 69 likes so i don’t rlly wanna change that sry bro
100 percent agree with this tip about warming up first. I tried this first thing in the morning and when she started easing down into the splits, I was like-- ok, nope, I am not warm up enough to do this without hurting myself.
Summertime!
I'm about to 17. Thanks to this video, after 2 months with 5 mins stretching everyday, i've finally nailed it. Keep up the good work guys 😙
Thanks coronavirus. I’ll start tomorrow (at my home)
Same here, I'm starting today. Coronavirus 'holidays' = no excuses 😁
Curious about the results.
Kamila Matajova lol😂😂😂
i started today, maybe thats a positive outcome of corona..suddenly many ppl split in their homes, trying to cure the broken system with yoga ^^
Same here. Did my 5th day today =)
Kamila Matajova Good luck!
Day1
Hurts!!!
Day 2
It still hurts but I've made an improvement
Sorry for not updating u guys its been like 3 months I haven't got my splits but I'm confident I will get it at the end of the year every day I stretch and get closer and closer to doing it .keep trying I hope you get yours quicker than mine
Everyone has different bodies and some are more flexible than others so don't give up and push past your limits like what I'm doing cause it works
Thank you for the daily Update
That’s awesome! I just started today! I hope I can get full splits in 2 weeks
How's it going
Wow 3 months
yes and think more about 14 month to 2 years to be able to do a split. 14 days .... have had better laughs
Girl ...which video of yin yoga..plz tell meh
But I feel a bit more motivated now.🙂
Day 9: My right hamstring was quite sore so instead of sliding into a split, I did a little hamstring stretches.
Day 10: skipped because of too much homework.
Day 11: Stretching, a little bit of less pain
Day 12: skipped again because of laziness
Day 13: I pushed and pushed and saw quite a difference.😊
Day 14: skipped because of pain.
Day 15: I did less stretching
Day 16: Same as day 13, but no difference.
Day 17: Skipped
Day 18: Skipped
Day 19: Lost a centimetre of progress due to skipping 😭 I stretched.
Day 20: I got back the lost centimetre...Yes I stretched. I think I need to stretch everyday a little bit instead of falling into the splits after every 2 days)
Day 21: stretched a little bit, I skipped sliding into a split though 😅
Day 22: I did the split, and pushed real hard and was 1 centimetre above the ground.
Day 27: Skipped as I was exhausted....it was a loooong day...😑
Day 28: I pushed, and pushed and I was very very very close to the ground!!
I personaly started at 25cm and I got to 10cm after the two weeks (and whit a lot of streching today 5 cm) so don't give up !
So how close did you get?
oh same! good luck!!
@@something2937 about 3 inches above the ground (without any pain) and one inch (with a lot of pain)
Thanks!
Hi Corona, I started this exercise today.
have you kept it up and how's it going?
@@pkshez hi, I can do full split now but only one side. Still working hard on the other side, about 20cm to go...long way to go. I will keep following this training every night. I suggest to add one more set of pigeon pose, will help you get the split faster. Don't give up!!😊
Ive started too and it's been really good, i also use a video called instense middle split routine (or maybe workout, i cant remember) using both has been making me extra flexy but im missing my upper body yoga

It took me 14 months to achieve a split and I practice every day! Great sequence!

@@omiadzekhato7205 oh that's sad dont give up tho
@@omiadzekhato7205 And now?
0miadze_ buena suerte
Been doing it for about a week now and am about 3 inches from the ground from about 6 originally . Almost there! Keep at it folks! Patience!
Thanks! I will see what happens in 14 days
Ok this is definitely not for beginners lol. I’m struggling
Parishia Love sis I was thinking the same 😪
Elizabeth Cigarroa I gotta start with beginners for kids haha
You just need to keep practicing
in halfway through and i thought this was going to be a stretch not a yoga thing 😭 this is going to take longer than i thought
Caroline Cole are you good now?
Finally got my splits today!! 😍
These videos really do work! It took me 5 weeks, I started really high of the ground and very stiff from office work so these stretches were perfect.
Staring the new middle splits one tomorrow! ✨
congrats
Did you do this everyday for 5 weeks?
This challenge has helped me so much. I started last year, stopped for a while, and started back up again. I'm on day 12 and have seen major improvements. Even after I finish the challenge, I'm going to do all the videos again since they allow for such amazing relief in the body. Thank you so much Boho Beautiful!
I'm already quite flexible but wasn't able to do full split there used to abe around 2 inches gap between me and the mat. 5 days in and I did split with the right leg and soon will be able to do with the left leg.
Update:- Done with the left leg as well 😊
Thankuuu so much ❤️
That was wonderful. It’s my day one and I have never sweated like this before. I am practicing hatha yoga for last one month and today decided to do this. I was almost there. I will update this whenever I am able to do the full split. Thanks once again. 🙏🏻
Hello! I’m Mariana and I’m a dancer of both ballet and irish dance, I’m going to comment how my progress comes and see how long it takes me to reach my full splits :)
Day 1: I don’t feel that flexible and I’m like 3-4 cm away from the floor and my left leg is less flexible than my right. I need to be patient and I hope I improve.
Day 2: I still fell in the same position but I need to still be patient.
Day 3: I felt an improvement, I warmed up more my legs and when she said to push one hip forward and the other to the back I lowered more my splits.
Right time... Right video... Yes UNIVERSE is listening to me... 💝💝💝💝thank you so much for this video.. Thank a lot.. ❤❤❤❤❤

Totally.
If I can do the splits I'll be so happy! Gonna practice this in my Bikram yoga before/after class.
You keep pumping out these programs! My summer is stocked. Thank you. ♥️🙏🏻
So, I accepted this challenge today. Will update my progress daily.
Day 1: somewhere around 22- 23 centimetre away from the ground. The transition from low lunge to half split and coming back from the split was not smooth enough
Day 2 : my hamstrings were paining.
Day 7: practice done with blocks (low height this time)
Day 8: practice done! cant feel difference in splits, may be I need to push myself a bit more. but was feeling more comfortable with the practice.
Day 9: practice done! can feel a slight difference in splits.

Somya Goel hows it going now?
Tezeth _13 hi! I took a week off practice because my hamstrings and hip muscles were getting really strained and I didn’t want to risk an Injury at this time. I started again today and I am very close to my right splits!

I am on day 8, feeling so much flexible! I think I will get the full splits by the end... so happy and grateful. Thanks Juliana and Mark for making this wonderful challenge.
how did it go?
I'm a yoga instructor, so I truly appreciate this! I already have my splits, but I still love this practice. The splits are such a wonderful pose to master for increased flexibility. To everyone attempting to get their splits: please remember to give yourself grace above all. This challenging pose takes time, so be kind to yourself during the process. With consistency, I promise - YOU WILL SEE RESULTS. Just remain positive and patient! You can do it!
Can I just say that I’m blown away. After following this video, I almost could do the splits I WENT SO LOW. I’m so shocked.
Day one complete! I had no idea how tight my hips truly were until I walked around after this practice. I felt so much relief! I will definitely try my best to do this every day until I can finally do the splits. I encourage all of you to not give up. We’ve got this!

Day 2: It hurts my hips and back is sour, but I did
Day 3: Wow! I am 9 inches above from the ground
I'll keep updating for next 11 days
Keep motivating!

I will start this today and let you know about my progress.
Edit:
Day 1: it is a very nice workout, I enjoyed very much.
Here’s my progress:
Day 1 - 37 cm, really difficult but great stretch
Day 6 - 28 cm, getting better but still hurts
Day 9 - 24 cm, still getting better !
Day 14 - 23 cm, hurt a little
Day 15 - 22.5 cm, took a break for a few days. My legs were really sore, but it felt good to stretch!
I’ll update this as I keep going ;)
Update? Or gave up?
I’ve been on vacation for a few days so I rested but I’ll be back at it tonight! Hang in there, you got it too!!
@@rosegenco2118 three years later... Did you get the splits?
Don't ever give up!!❤️
I am 60 and I was able to do it with your help . I appreciate so much , your videos offer so much value..❤🇺🇸
So I started dancing from a really young age just as a hobby but I've always struggled with my flexibility. But I have more time now so I'm gonna leave udates! Let's see if I can pull this off ;)
Day 1: I'm really stiff because I haven't danced of stretched for almost a year however I was never far away from a split.
My goal this year is to do the splits in maybe 2-6 months and get better with middle splits but I’ve always been like 1.5 feet away from middle splits lol.
i started this and 8th time doing it im in full split, i cant believe it,,im slim if that counts but i don't do any other exercise
My update!!
Day 1: 30cm to go, stretching was kinda fun!!
Day 2: no process
Day 3: felt a bit easier
Day 4: 22cm to go :)
Day 5: OMG only 14cm to go
hey
Juliana and Mark! What an awesome video. I have no reason to DO the splits, no one to impress, I'm not on a sports team, I'm not taking dance classes. But this was so amazing for releasing the negative emotions and memories around the hips! My hips did not reach the floor but just practicing was the perfect stretch for me. This was calming, grounding, and I feel great. This video helped achieve everything I have come to expect from my time on the mat
What an amazing flow! I cant wait to advance more in my splits!:)
who else is from gabby??💕 this is the last video for day one and i’m dying but in a good way LMAOAOAOOA

I'm planning for tommorow and my plan is to get up early and just get it over with. In the morning I won't be fully awake so I won't have to feel the pain :(

I finally did the splits on my left leg today (my stiff leg) after 12 days of this video. Thank you so much Juliana for guiding me so majestically and teaching me breath work for relaxation. I feel so good to finally achieve this goal ❤ Thank you

Day 1: Hurts. Didn’t stretch for ages))
Day 2: stretches much nicer but still high off the ground.

Im 6 cm from the ground
Day 3: Done!!
Day 4: it's kinda difficult but done
Day 5: Done!
Days:
1: Hurt and couldn’t do most of the movements
2: I got most of it done
I'm with you! Just started as well.
Days:
1: Frustrated 'cause I'm usually sorta flexible. Obviously not around my hips. Hard to keep a straight back!
@@malinsoderberg3026 Honestly I couldn't even tell if I'm flexible or not because I couldn't stay balanced enough to hold any of the positions
Doing this challenge until hopefully I get my splits

I forgot to update it but I am very close to the floor now🎉
4/28: Day 1- Just completed my first day, definitely high off the ground.
5/1 Day 4: skipped today
5/2 Day 5: because I skipped yesterday I’m doubling up today. Just wrapped a session. A tad tighter today but I can still see improvement in the movement. I’m able to hold positions longer without cringing and relax deeper into the poses. My soaz muscle must be opening up (yay!)
2nd round (day 6 makeup): I’m able to go a little deeper. I’m starting to feel sore in my hamstrings.
5/3 Day 7: still at it! I notice I am deeper on my right side. I’m still high up but on my right side I was able to get my heel flat on the ground, progress! 😁 my hands can’t touch the floor yet though.
Ok UA-cam recommendations, guess I’m working on splits while in quarantine
Good luck
I would LOVE an upper body/back flexibility challenge next!
Your videos are great, thank you so much for sharing them
Starting today!
DAY 3: my body is still a little sore today, and so I didn’t push too hard. Again no major improvements as of yet but I do feel I can achieve more of a stretch in some of the poses :)
DAY 4: legs feeling much better today. I didn’t realise there were other videos you were meant to be doing as well as so I will be starting those from now on too!
DAY 5: my body was a little sore today and I didn’t want to ache any more so I decided to have a break today
Keep editing your progress!! :)
sharon klausner I am doing day 3 later on today! But don’t worry I will be! ✨❤️

Thank you for updating your progress. This is my first day and I’m struggling real hard, but you going further motivates me.
MareMoves I’m glad to hear that! Unfortunately at the moment I have decided to give myself a few days break because I have pulled a few muscles from other things but I will get straight back into it once they feel good again! But don’t let this demotivate you :D

it can be done depending on how you work, what people need to understand is that before you attempt to do the splits you have to prepare the hamstrings and the hips before even thinking about hitting the split position, the period in which it takes to get the split can depend on a few things like how flexible your body is and how often you work at it, but you will also need to follow a good tutorial to achieve it my new Yt channel specializes in stretching from beginners level to advanced level you're welcome to try them out
I am so happy, I just finished the 14 day challenge, and my right leg split is perfect now...in the left side I really got better too, but it’s still not straight...

I'll come in tomorrow
Day 2: I got a fever on top of the cough I've had. I'm pushing through though, pushing through my tears. I ended up taking a break halfway as my mother brought me smoothie😊
Day 3: I wanna puke. But I did it
Day 4: I already see a lot of improvement and I still haven't felt sore or gotten damaged! My sister told me I was super close today😋
Day 5: It kinda hurt today. But good news! I can fit *2* pillows under my side split now!!
Day 6: Whoohooo! I'm close! Give me 2 more weeks yall!
Day 7: Skipped
Day 8: Oh boy, that felt great! I'm closer than I was two days ago😊
Day 9: Took a well deserved break
Day 10: I went much further today. I'd say I got about 6-8 cm left. It certainly helps when you feel like physical pain isn't worth acknowledging👍
Day 11: Ahaha, was a little depressed yesterday.
But I did kind of do them😫
Day 13: Skipped
Day 14: Skipped
Day 15: I'm back and hoooolyy. I'm close. I'd say in about 4 days I'll make it. But idk, might not. My sister praised me again😊😋😚 (Normally she's very jealous but she doesn't have any interest in the splits for herself so I think that's why)
Day 16: Yah yah yah yah. Close. And doesn't feel as uncomfortable. Not there yet though
Day 17: Ho-Lee Fuk. I'd say I'm a finger away!
Day 18: Skipped
Day 19: Skipped
Day 20: Skipped (Yeaaah, ahahaha😅)
Day 21: I'm back and did it
Day 22: Skipped
Day 23: Thinking I should stop skipping. Also, I've been stuck on 7-8 cm for a while now and realized I haven't been relaxing into the pose but rather pushed myself in it. Changing methd now
Day 24: Skipped
Day 25: ✅
Day 26: ✅
Day 27: ✅ Gah, I'm getting frustrated! I can literally force my way down but I'm too scared..
Day 28: ✅ YES! I ASKED MY SISTER TO PUSH ME DOWN (LITTLE SISTER)AND I GOT IT! but I can't keep it by myself BUT I GOT IT!
Later: I seemed to have pulled my left hamstring (When u celebrate too early🤦♀️), anyways my righy split is just fine🙂
I'm gonna work on my left when it's healed

I have always struggled doing my front and middle split. I used to do yoga in school and participate in various competitions and I could never do splits. I used to procrastinate and give up half way but today I can very easily get into my front split and it just took 17 days of dedication and never giving up spirit.
